Dogtablet Publish New Album “Designed To Fade”

Dark textures, emotional circuitry, and electronic melancholy collide as Dogtablet return with a new sonic transmission.

Independent dark electronic act Dogtablet have officially published their latest release, Designed To Fade. The new album continues the project’s descent into atmospheric tension, blending industrial textures, synth-driven emotion, and shadowy alternative electronics into a release that feels both intimate and mechanically cold.

Built around haunting moods and layered electronic arrangements, Designed To Fade captures the sensation of watching memories decay in real time. The release moves through waves of isolation, digital exhaustion, and emotional erosion while still maintaining enough rhythmic momentum to keep listeners locked into its hypnotic pulse.

Dogtablet’s approach leans heavily into cinematic sound design, allowing the darker emotional undertones to breathe between distorted synth lines, driving percussion, and immersive ambience. Rather than chasing polished perfection, the album embraces fragility and deterioration as part of its identity — turning fading signals into something strangely beautiful.

For listeners immersed in darkwave, industrial electronica, synth-driven post-industrial soundscapes, and emotionally charged underground electronic music, Designed To Fade delivers another descent into the fractured spaces between human emotion and machine precision.

HOCICO Publish “Unseen Horror Scenes” Through Digital Rage, Dystopian Decay, and Industrial Brutality

Mexican electro-industrial legends HOCICO return with a vicious new chapter as Unseen Horror Scenes is officially out now through Out Of Line Music. Arriving just ahead of a massive touring and festival season, the new album pushes Erk Aicrag and Racso Agroyam deeper into the collapsing psyche of the digital age, transforming paranoia, addiction, betrayal, algorithmic manipulation, and spiritual decay into an aggressive sonic weapon.

Rather than offering escapism, HOCICO force listeners directly into confrontation. Across fifteen tracks, Unseen Horror Scenes tears through themes of online toxicity, emotional desensitization, social collapse, and technological corruption with surgical precision. Songs like “Brainrot” and “The Screen” dissect internet-era psychological deterioration, while “Hey Tú!” featuring Rafael Reyes of PRAYERS injects scorched-earth fury into the album’s relentless momentum. From the opening assault of “Dark Paradigm” to the apocalyptic closer “Echoes of the End,” the record never loosens its grip.

Musically, the album detonates with punishing industrial rhythms, hyperkinetic drum & bass chaos, razor-sharp EBM sequencing, and Erk Aicrag’s unmistakable venom-soaked vocals. The production feels raw, hostile, and claustrophobic while still remaining intensely danceable — a balance HOCICO have mastered throughout decades of reshaping the electro-industrial underground. The result is an album that feels disturbingly accurate to the emotional state of modern society.

Beyond the music itself, Unseen Horror Scenes arrives with one of the band’s most ambitious physical release campaigns to date. Fans can choose between a deluxe 2CD digipak featuring the bonus disc Hidden Horror Scenes, splatter vinyl editions, cassette formats, exclusive merch, and the wildly unique “Fuego Puro” chili-filled vinyl limited to only 100 copies worldwide. Embedded with real chili flakes, the collector’s item blurs the line between music release and industrial art object.

The album’s futuristic KiT edition continues that experimental philosophy by merging physical collectibles with digital access through a dedicated mobile app experience. Exclusive cards, bonus content, videos, lyrics, and interactive packaging create an immersive extension of HOCICO’s dystopian universe — one that mirrors the same digital obsession and technological dependency explored throughout the album itself.

As HOCICO prepare to storm major festivals including M’era Luna, Amphi Festival, Castle Party, Dark Storm Festival, and Till Fest, Unseen Horror Scenes stands as another uncompromising statement from one of industrial music’s most influential forces. Furious, confrontational, and unapologetically relevant, the album proves HOCICO remain masters of transforming modern horror into dancefloor catharsis.

SLEEP OF MIRRORS Publish Debut Album “Crown” Through Ritualistic Darkwave and Industrial Tension

Chicago’s underground dark electronic scene gains a powerful new entry as SLEEP OF MIRRORS officially publish their debut full-length album Crown through Negative Gain Productions. Blending darkwave, dark techno, electro, and industrial atmosphere into a hypnotic cinematic experience, the project arrives with a release that feels less like a traditional album and more like a descent into a carefully constructed ritual.

At the core of Crown is a commitment to mood, immersion, and emotional authenticity. The ten-track record unfolds as a singular journey built on dense synthesizer architecture, pulsing rhythms, haunting vocal performances, and slow-burning tension. Rather than chasing trends or fragmented singles, SLEEP OF MIRRORS construct a cohesive sonic world where every track feeds into the next, creating an atmosphere that feels ceremonial, mechanical, and deeply human all at once.

The band’s newly released video for “Gemini” offers a striking visual gateway into that universe, pairing shadow-drenched aesthetics with the project’s brooding electronic pulse. Across the album, themes of transformation, devotion, occult symbolism, internal conflict, and power echo through layered production and restrained intensity. Tracks like “Obsidian,” “Blood Moon,” and the title track “Crown” channel a cold hypnotic energy, while “Not My Skin” featuring Ronnie Canizaro introduces a sharper emotional aggression into the record’s immersive flow.

SLEEP OF MIRRORS describe their creative philosophy with a deceptively simple statement: “The only rule is that the music feels real.” That authenticity resonates throughout Crown. The album avoids artificial excess in favor of atmosphere, tension, and emotional weight, giving the project a distinct identity within the growing intersection of industrial music, dark techno, and modern darkwave.

Released through Negative Gain Productions, Crown establishes SLEEP OF MIRRORS as a project to watch closely as dark electronic music continues evolving into harsher, more cinematic territory.

Ayria Publishes “Vicious World” EP Through a Pulse of Dark Electro and Emotional Collapse

Ayria returns with a new transmission from the darker edges of electronic music. The newly released Vicious World EP pushes deeper into the emotional tension, sharp synthwork, and cybernetic atmosphere that have defined the project for years, while continuing to evolve its balance between vulnerability and aggression.

Built around Ayria’s unmistakable fusion of dark electro, synthpop, EBM, and industrial textures, Vicious World feels both intimate and confrontational. The EP channels themes of isolation, fractured trust, emotional exhaustion, and survival inside an increasingly hostile modern landscape. Pulsing basslines collide with icy melodies and tightly programmed percussion, creating a soundscape that feels equally suited for solitary late-night reflection and packed underground dancefloors.

Jennifer Parkin’s vocal delivery remains one of the project’s strongest weapons throughout the release. Her voice moves effortlessly between haunting restraint and explosive emotional release, giving the material a human core beneath the mechanical precision. Rather than relying purely on nostalgia, Vicious World expands Ayria’s sonic identity into something colder, sharper, and more psychologically immersive.

For longtime fans of dark electronic music, the EP continues Ayria’s legacy of crafting emotionally charged cyber-industrial soundtracks that resonate far beyond the club environment. The release arrives as another reminder of why Ayria remains one of the most enduring and respected voices in the international dark electro scene.

Elektrikill Publishes “Küntzpiracy” Album

New Jersey darkwave/industrial force Elektrikill returns with their most politically charged and dancefloor-driven release yet—“Küntzpiracy” arrives as both a sonic weapon and a cultural statement.

Elektrikill, the New Jersey-based darkwave/industrial project led by Steve Vil, has officially published their third full-length album, Küntzpiracy, from Evol Music Group, via ElasticStage. Following a trajectory that has steadily built momentum across the underground, this release marks a defining evolution in both sound and message.

After breaking through with their debut Monsters—named Industrial Album of 2023 by NOTTHEAMP Magazine—and expanding their reach through releases with Distortion Productions and Metropolis Records, Elektrikill now sharpen their edge with a record that fuses aggression, atmosphere, and intention into one cohesive strike. Their YouTube presence has also pulled in thousands of views, reinforcing their growing impact across the digital landscape.

From Chaos to Control — A Sound Refined for Impact

Küntzpiracy arrives as the next phase in Elektrikill’s evolution. Where Propaganarchy leaned into relentless industrial noise, this new album strikes a calculated balance—retaining that raw intensity while shaping it into something more controlled, more danceable, and more dangerous.

The album features standout and already viral singles including “The Scream” and “Vampire Blond,” alongside tracks like “S(t)imulation,” “My Salvation,” and “Museum Of Atrocity.” Each piece contributes to a larger narrative—one rooted in political tension, social fracture, and the feeling of navigating a world on the edge.

This is Elektrikill at their most focused: noisy, yes—but engineered for movement.

Critical Acclaim That Built the Foundation

The foundation for Küntzpiracy was forged through the critical acclaim of Elektrikill’s debut, Monsters, with coverage spanning Darker Side Of Music, The Noise Beneath The Snow, NOTTHEAMP, and Side-Line Magazine.

That trajectory now converges in Küntzpiracy.

A Release Strategy Built for the New Era

By releasing through ElasticStage, Elektrikill embraces a modern distribution model—offering vinyl and CD formats produced on demand, eliminating traditional manufacturing barriers while maintaining premium quality.

Aligned with Evol Music Group, this release reflects a broader shift toward artist control, sustainability, and direct-to-fan accessibility. It’s not just about releasing music—it’s about redefining how that music exists in the world.

Dancing Into Doomsday

Küntzpiracy stands as Elektrikill’s most politically charged work to date—a soundtrack for tension, resistance, and release. It doesn’t just document the chaos—it invites you to move through it.

This is 2026’s soundtrack for dancing into doomsday.

Signal Over Noise: Inside the World of Tara Fox and the Rise of RoboFox

From vivid dreams to engineered realities, Tara Fox isn’t just creating visuals—she’s building entire worlds designed to be felt.

⚙️ Where the Signal Began

Before the name, before the aesthetic, before the emergence of RoboFox as a recognizable force—Tara Fox existed in a different frequency entirely. Not disconnected from reality, but quietly rewriting it.

She was a child immersed in imagination, constantly observing, absorbing, and translating the world around her into something more expansive. While others saw what was, she saw what could be. Her mind operated like a receiver tuned into unrealized dimensions—places shaped by sound, emotion, and imagery that hadn’t yet taken form in the physical world.

Those early years weren’t passive—they were foundational. Vivid dreams blurred into waking creativity, forming the blueprint for a future where storytelling wouldn’t just be told… it would be experienced. Every sketch, every idea, every internal narrative became a fragment of something larger waiting to be built.

Growing up in the orbit of the music industry—guided in part by her father, Oz Fox of Stryper—Tara gained early exposure to both the magic and mechanics behind sound. But rather than follow in those footsteps, she absorbed the environment and redirected it, forging her own lane where music, design, and atmosphere collide.

Her identity didn’t shift when she stepped into the public eye—it expanded. What the world sees now isn’t a reinvention. It’s an amplification.

⚙️ Breaking the Default Timeline

For Tara, conformity was never rebellion—it simply never made sense.

While others followed structured paths, she was already sketching alternatives. Creation wasn’t a choice—it was instinct. From early on, she understood she wasn’t meant to participate in pre-existing systems, but to construct her own.

That realization crystallized into something tangible with the birth of RoboFox.

What began as modeling merchandise quickly evolved into something far more complex. Through firsthand exposure to touring culture and the mechanics of the music industry, she identified a gap—one where visuals, branding, and emotional atmosphere could amplify sound in a deeper, more immersive way.

A defining spark came unexpectedly—standing on the grounds where Nikola Tesla once conducted his experiments. In that quiet space, something clicked. Not just inspiration—but alignment. Tesla’s philosophy of building ahead of understanding mirrored her own approach: create first, let the world catch up later.

That moment didn’t just influence a logo.

It ignited a system.

⚙️ The Illusion of Modeling

Tara Fox didn’t set out to become a model.

In fact, the industry found her.

Strangers began approaching her in everyday moments—grocery stores, lines, passing interactions—projecting an identity she hadn’t claimed yet. It was unexpected, overwhelming, and at times surreal. But instead of conforming to what modeling traditionally demanded, she reframed it entirely.

She rejected the mold—and turned modeling into a tool.

Not for validation. Not for aesthetics alone.

But for world-building.

Drawing from cosplay, theater, and visual design, she transformed presence into performance—each image becoming a character, each shoot a fragment of a larger narrative. What appears on the surface as modeling is, in reality, a layered system of storytelling, branding, and emotional translation.

A creative engine.

⚡ Precision, Autonomy, and the Creative Machine

At the core of Tara’s current evolution is alignment.

Her image isn’t manufactured—it’s instinct refined through strategy. The line between identity and design has blurred to the point where one naturally fuels the other. What looks intentional is simply authentic expression sharpened into form.

And what many interpret as “power” isn’t power at all.

It’s independence.

Running her own brand means maintaining full creative integrity—protecting the vision, controlling the narrative, and ensuring that every output reflects something real. There’s no external validation driving the machine. Only execution.

Her work exists at the intersection of:

  • Visual storytelling
  • Music-driven atmosphere
  • Character design
  • Brand architecture

Modeling is just the visible layer.

Underneath is a system designed to amplify emotion through imagery.

⚡ Silence Over Noise

In an environment built on comparison, Tara operates differently.

She doesn’t compete.

She builds.

While others scroll, analyze, and react—she creates. The RoboFox brand functions as both output and anchor, keeping her grounded in purpose rather than distracted by perception.

Criticism, curiosity, conversation—it’s all signal.

And signal means attention.

But attention isn’t the goal.

Creation is.

⚡ The Work Behind the Image

What most people underestimate isn’t the image.

It’s the process.

Behind every visual lies layers of planning, experimentation, refinement, and technical execution. Photography, composition, effects, AI enhancement, narrative alignment—it’s a multi-stage build that transforms raw ideas into immersive outputs.

What looks effortless is engineered.

What feels organic is intentional.

The work doesn’t exist in the final image.

It exists in everything that led to it.

🔮 Beyond the Frame

What we’re seeing now isn’t the destination.

It’s the foundation.

While RoboFox currently operates within visual storytelling and brand amplification, the trajectory extends far beyond that. Tara’s vision hints at expansion into technology, product design, and even futuristic systems—ideas already embedded within her current work, waiting to evolve into something more tangible.

Gaming. Media. Emerging tech.

The signals are already forming.

🔮 Legacy in Motion

Tara Fox isn’t building toward a fixed endpoint.

She’s building a system that evolves.

At its core, her journey isn’t about rebellion or even recognition—it’s about authenticity. The ability to create without compromise. To construct worlds that didn’t exist before. To remain aligned with instinct, even when it defies expectation.

And if her career is viewed in hindsight?

It won’t be defined by titles or categories.

It will be defined by one thing:

She built her own signal—and never let it be rewritten.

EVOL MUSIC GROUP SIGNS ELEKTRIKILL AS “MY SALVATION” EMERGES FROM THE SHADOWS

Something darker is taking shape as Evol Music Group welcomes Elektrikill—ushering in a release that feels less like music, and more like a transmission from the edge of collapse.

⚡ A SIGNAL FROM THE VOID

Evol Music Group has officially signed Elektrikill, the project of Steve Vil, marking a calculated step deeper into the industrial underground. This isn’t a surface-level collaboration—it’s an alignment of intent. Cold, deliberate, and unapologetically intense.

At the center of this signing is “My Salvation”—a release that doesn’t offer comfort, but confrontation. Built on stark contrasts and controlled tension, the track pulls listeners into a space where clarity and distortion coexist. It’s not designed to be easy. It’s designed to be felt.

🔥 A SOUND THAT DOESN’T ASK PERMISSION

Elektrikill operates in a space where restraint and aggression collide. Minimal yet heavy, clinical yet emotional, the project strips away excess and leaves only what matters—pulse, pressure, presence.

“My Salvation” extends beyond a single version, evolving through multiple forms that reshape its impact. Each iteration exposes a different layer, reinforcing a singular identity rooted in precision and atmosphere.

⚙️ ARTIST-FIRST. CONTROL REMAINS INTACT

True to Evol Music Group’s foundation, this partnership is structured with intention. The agreement is built to prioritize creative control and long-term alignment, ensuring the artist’s vision remains at the forefront while establishing a framework designed for growth, trust, and sustainability.

This isn’t about taking from artists. It’s about building with them.

🚀 THE NEXT PHASE BEGINS

With Elektrikill now part of the Evol Music Group roster, the direction is clear: darker, sharper, more focused. This signing signals a continued push toward music that doesn’t just exist in the background—but demands attention.

“My Salvation” is only the beginning.

Fear Factory Reveal First Details of Long-Awaited New Album

Industrial metal pioneers Fear Factory are preparing to unleash a brand-new studio album later this year, and founding guitarist Dino Cazares has begun revealing the first major details about the highly anticipated release.

The upcoming record—expected via Nuclear Blast—will mark a major milestone for the band. It will be the first Fear Factory album featuring vocalist Milo Silvestro and drummer Pete Webber, both of whom have already spent several years touring with the legendary industrial metal act.

A Concept Built Around Humanity and A.I.

According to Cazares, the album will continue Fear Factory’s long-running exploration of the conflict between humanity and technology, a theme that has defined the band’s identity since the 1990s.

This time, the story takes place in a bleak future where humanity exists only in fragments, with artificial intelligence dominating much of the world. While the band remains fascinated by technological evolution, the new material also carries a cautious tone about where that future could lead.

Rather than telling a single continuous story like the band’s classic 1998 concept album Obsolete, the new record will feature individual narrative explanations for each track, giving fans deeper insight into the meaning behind the lyrics, riffs, and themes.

Cazares emphasized that the band wants listeners to understand the intent behind every song, something that often gets lost in the streaming era where liner notes and context rarely accompany digital releases.

A Collaborative Effort From the New Lineup

The writing process behind the album has been a fully collaborative effort. Cazares worked alongside longtime producer Damien Rainaud, while Silvestro contributed a significant portion of the lyrics.

Additional lyrical input also came from bassist Ricky Bonazza, helping shape the album’s overarching narrative and emotional tone.

After touring with Fear Factory for several years, Silvestro has had time to deeply absorb the band’s identity, which Cazares says helped him find his own place within the sound of the group.

A Powerful Closing Chapter

One of the album’s standout moments will be the closing track, written largely by Silvestro himself. The song reportedly carries a cinematic feel similar to “Expiration Date” from the band’s 2015 album Genexus.

Its story imagines a distant future where humanity has disappeared entirely, leaving behind only microscopic remnants of life—raising the possibility that something new could eventually evolve from the ashes of the human race.

Keyboard contributions from longtime collaborator Rhys Fulber will also appear on the track, adding another familiar sonic layer to the band’s evolving sound.

Taking Their Time to Get It Right

Despite fans eagerly asking for new music, Cazares says the band has intentionally taken their time with the album. Expectations are especially high because this will be Fear Factory’s first release without longtime vocalist Burton C. Bell, who departed the band in 2020.

Rather than rushing the process, the band wants to ensure the record stands the test of time.

For Cazares, the goal is simple: deliver an album that lives up to the legacy Fear Factory has built across more than three decades of futuristic, machine-driven metal.

Industrial darkwave project Stoneburner is preparing to return with a powerful new release titled Invasive Species, arriving this Friday. The EP marks the latest chapter from the mind of Steven Archer, continuing a legacy of emotionally charged, dystopian electronic music that feels uncannily aligned with the anxieties of the modern world.

A Soundtrack for an Uncertain Era

Over the years, Steven Archer has built a reputation for transforming tension, instability, and the haunting beauty of societal fracture into immersive sonic experiences. With Invasive Species, that artistic approach remains firmly intact.

The upcoming EP channels the uneasy atmosphere of the present moment—capturing feelings of disruption, transformation, and survival within a shifting cultural landscape. Archer’s work often blends harsh electronic textures with deeply human emotional currents, creating music that is both unflinchingly brutal and strikingly intimate.

The result is a release that doesn’t simply comment on the world around us—it feels like it was born directly from it.

Continuing the Stoneburner Legacy

Fans who have followed Stoneburner through previous releases know that every project exists within its own carefully constructed universe. Invasive Species continues that tradition, presenting a distinct sonic environment where industrial rhythms, dark electronic atmospheres, and raw emotional honesty collide.

A Dystopian Concept Comes to Life

Greeting listeners from “this and every parallel universe,” AVGMNT has introduced BRAVE as the first chapter of an ambitious concept album. The EP dives deep into the philosophical and societal themes made famous by Huxley’s seminal work—examining a future where humanity is shaped not by individual freedom, but by design.

Through its sonic landscape and thematic storytelling, BRAVE explores concepts such as embryonic programming, sleep teaching, caste assignment, and rigidly defined social roles, all framed under the idea of sacrificing individuality for the supposed “greater good.” The result is a dark and thought-provoking electronic release that merges dystopian science fiction with the immersive textures of modern industrial and electronic music.

🔥 A Full-Throttle Return to Form

With “Vicious World,” Ayria delivers a fierce and unapologetic return to her body music roots. Fans of her earlier aggression will immediately feel the DNA of “My Revenge On the World” coursing through this track — but sharpened, modernized, and driven straight into the red.

The influence of classic EBM titans like Nitzer Ebb pulses beneath the surface: commanding rhythms, mechanical precision, and an undeniable physicality. This isn’t passive listening. It’s kinetic. It’s sweat-soaked. It’s built for dark dance floors and iron-clad gym sessions alike.

Industrial provocateur PIG is back with a venom-laced new single, “Tosca’s Kiss,” arriving March 6 via Metropolis Records, in collaboration with Armalyte Industries and Blue Noise (Hiroshi Yoshihiro). 💀

Written by Raymond Watts and Jim Davies, the track serves as the latest transmission from the forthcoming album Hurt People Hurt—a record poised to carve deep into the psyche of modern industrial music.

A Legacy of Sonic Violence ⚙️

For decades, Raymond Watts has weaponized sound under the PIG moniker—merging abrasive electronics, theatrical darkness, and razor-edged satire into something unmistakably his own. With “Tosca’s Kiss,” that legacy intensifies. 💀

Jim Davies (known for his work with The Prodigy and Pitchshifter) once again joins forces with Watts, forging metallic riffs and punishing textures that feel both nostalgic and futuristically hostile. The result is a track that bites hard—equal parts seductive and savage.

IMMOLATION Announce New Album Descent, Out April 10 — New Single “Adversary” Drops with Crushing Video

New York death metal legends Immolation storm into 2026 with renewed fury, unveiling their twelfth studio album Descent, set for release on April 10 via Nuclear Blast Records. Alongside the announcement, the band has unleashed the album’s first single, Adversary, delivering a merciless preview of what lies ahead. 💀

Since their seminal 1991 debut Dawn of Possession, Immolation have remained a defining force in extreme metal, shaping the genre through innovation rather than imitation. At the core of their unmistakable sound is guitarist Bob Vigna’s signature fretwork—serpentine leads colliding with ominous, slow-burning dirges that feel both ancient and alien.

A First Descent into the Abyss

“Adversary” hits with relentless precision: blast-driven percussion, dissonant riff structures, and Ross Dolan’s cavernous growls forming a towering wall of sound. It’s death metal sharpened to a lethal edge—uncompromising, atmospheric, and deeply menacing. The accompanying video, directed by Bob Vigna himself, visually amplifies the track’s suffocating intensity.

Listen / Stream:

The Band Speaks

Immolation describe Descent as both a continuation and an evolution—rooted firmly in their origins while daring to push further into new territory. The band calls the album “almost addictive,” highlighting its ambitious songwriting, immersive atmosphere, and one of the strongest productions of their career. 💀

Forged in Fire: Production & Artwork

Descent was recorded across two locations: guitars, bass, and vocals tracked with Justin Passamonte at Jpass Music, while drums were captured at Mercinary Studios with Noah Buchanan. Longtime collaborator Zack Ohren handled mixing and mastering alongside the band, resulting in a muscular, high-definition production that balances sheer brutality with unsettling clarity.

Visually, Immolation once again partnered with acclaimed artist Eliran Kantor for the album cover, complemented by interior illustrations from Santiago Jaramillo (Triple Seis Design). The result is a visual statement as harrowing and iconic as the music itself.

On the Road: 2026 Tours

Following that run, the band heads to North America as direct support for Behemoth on The Godless IV 2026 Tour, joined by Deicide and Rotting Christ. Select festival appearances will follow, including Rockstadt Extreme Fest and Brutal Assault. 💀

Why Descent Matters

Calling Descent “heavy” barely scratches the surface. This is Immolation refining their language of darkness—death metal that is brutal yet cerebral, oppressive yet precise. With Descent, Immolation don’t just reaffirm their legacy; they deepen it, proving once again why they stand alone at the genre’s highest tier.

Wolf Within Me: Lykinthrope Exposes the Breaking Point Between Control and Collapse

OUT NOW: Wolf Within Me by Lykinthrope 💀

With “Wolf Within Me,” Lykinthrope delivers a visceral, emotionally charged release that lives in the space between control and collapse. Built around tension, patience, and the inevitability of eruption, the track explores what happens when self-restraint becomes a cage—and instinct finally breaks free.

News Article: A Study in Contained Fury

At its core, “Wolf Within Me” is about suppression—the kind that looks calm on the surface but seethes underneath. The lyrics paint a portrait of someone who has mastered silence, discipline, and emotional restraint, not because it’s healthy, but because it’s necessary for survival.

Lines like “Wear my patience like a chain” and “Every heartbeat locked in place” immediately frame control as confinement. This is not peace—it’s containment. The song repeatedly emphasizes calculation, control, and self-policing, creating a sense of pressure that steadily builds with each verse.

The wolf becomes the central metaphor: instinct, anger, truth, and identity all compressed beneath composure. It’s not portrayed as evil or reckless—it’s exhausted. “Tired of always folding” becomes the emotional thesis of the track, resonating with anyone who has learned to survive by staying quiet.

As the song progresses, the imagery intensifies. Fur rising, teeth sharpening, the moon igniting something violent inside the chest—it’s the slow, cinematic transformation from restraint to reckoning. By the final chorus, restraint is no longer virtuous. Walking away was mercy. Patience has eroded. The explosion is not sudden—it’s overdue.

“Wolf Within Me” positions Lykinthrope as an artist willing to explore internal conflict without romanticizing it. This is not a power fantasy. It’s an honest confrontation with the cost of always being the controlled one.

Release Review: The Sound of Pressure Cracking

From a sonic standpoint, “Wolf Within Me” thrives on tension. The arrangement mirrors the lyrical theme—tight, controlled, and coiled. There’s a constant feeling that something is being held back, as if the track itself is biting its tongue.

The verses feel restrained and deliberate, allowing the listener to sit inside the pressure rather than escape it. When the chorus hits, it doesn’t explode immediately—it surges, reinforcing the idea that this transformation is inevitable, not impulsive.

The bridge is a standout moment. “Don’t mistake the peace I show for a leash you think you hold” reframes calmness as deception, flipping the listener’s expectations. What appears compliant is actually volatile. The breakdown that follows—voices calling, cages breaking—feels claustrophobic and psychological, rather than purely aggressive.

By the final chorus, the restraint is gone. The storm that “no one noticed” becomes undeniable, and the emotional payoff lands hard because it was earned. The explosion feels justified, not theatrical.

This track will resonate strongly with listeners drawn to dark electronic and industrial-adjacent music that prioritizes emotional truth over bravado. It speaks to those who know what it means to keep the peace at their own expense—and what happens when that cost becomes too high.

Lyrical Interpretation: Instinct vs. Control

“Wolf Within Me” is ultimately about the danger of misreading patience as weakness. The song dismantles the idea that calmness equals compliance and reframes restraint as a countdown.

Key themes include:

  • Emotional suppression as survival
  • The psychological toll of constant self-control
  • Instinct as truth rather than threat
  • Explosion as consequence, not choice

The wolf is not something to conquer—it’s something to acknowledge. Ignoring it only ensures it will eventually break free.

Excluded: Leatherstrip Returns With a Cold, Unflinching Statement on Alienation

OUT NOW: Excluded by Leatherstrip
Available now via Bandcamp—and it does not ask for permission. 💀

A Song for the Cast Out

With “Excluded,” Leatherstrip delivers a stark, confrontational piece that cuts straight to the emotional core of alienation. This is a track about being pushed outside the circle—socially, politically, ideologically—not by choice, but by systems that decide who belongs and who does not.

There is no metaphorical cushioning here. The song speaks plainly and forcefully about marginalization, enforced silence, and the psychological toll of being erased or dismissed. It’s not framed as victimhood, but as awareness—cold, sober, and unresolved.

Sound & Structure: Discipline Over Decoration

Sonically, “Excluded” is unmistakably Leatherstrip. The track is built on rigid EBM foundations: precise sequencing, relentless rhythmic motion, and a stripped-down arrangement that leaves no room for distraction. The production is austere and controlled, reinforcing the lyrical message rather than competing with it.

Nothing feels excessive. Every element serves purpose. The beat drives forward with mechanical resolve, while the synth work remains cold and focused—never indulgent, never ornamental. This restraint gives the track weight. It feels intentional, sharpened, and uncompromising.

Vocals as Authority, Not Performance

Claus Larsen’s vocal delivery is a defining force here. Rather than theatrical aggression, the performance leans into controlled intensity. The voice sounds grounded, resolved, and fully aware of what it’s saying. There’s no attempt to soften the message or dramatize it for effect.

This approach makes the track feel less like a rant and more like a declaration—measured, deliberate, and unyielding.

Lyrical Interpretation: Exclusion as a System

Lyrically, “Excluded” operates on two levels. On the surface, it speaks to personal isolation—the experience of being shut out, dismissed, or invalidated. Beneath that, it exposes exclusion as a designed outcome, not an accident. The song implies structure, intent, and repetition—systems that thrive by deciding who is worthy of inclusion and who is disposable.

There is no plea for acceptance here. No demand for reconciliation. Instead, the song documents the condition itself, forcing the listener to confront the reality of exclusion without offering easy resolution or emotional release.

This is not a song about overcoming.
It is a song about naming the wound.

Why “Excluded” Matters

Leatherstrip has never been about comfort, nostalgia, or neutrality—and “Excluded” reinforces why the project remains vital. In a cultural moment defined by division, gatekeeping, and ideological purity tests, this track feels painfully current.

It will resonate deeply with listeners drawn to industrial and EBM not just for sound, but for truth without varnish. This is music that stands firm, even when standing alone.

A sharp, disciplined release that proves Leatherstrip is still operating with clarity, relevance, and conviction. 💀

GATES TO HELL Drops New Single ‘Disfigured’ Ahead of Fall Tour Dates

Louisville natives GATES TO HELL are back with a new digital single, “Disfigured.” The track is a brutally heavy, all-killer-no-filler song—essentially one long, punishing breakdown. The single is a B-side from the band’s recent album, Death Comes to All, which was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Randy LeBoeuf.

The band comments that they wrote the track a few years ago and decided to release it now to coincide with their upcoming tour with Dying Fetus. They recall playing it on a 2023 tour where it got the crowd moving every night, and they’re excited to finally have it out for the world to hear.

Starting on September 20th, GATES TO HELL will embark on a 24-day trek that includes performances at the New England Metal & Hardcore Fest and Louder Than Life. They will also join headliners Dying Fetus on their ‘Into The Cesspool’ US/Canadian 2025 tour with Mugshot. Following the tour, the band will wrap up the year with a show in Albany, New York, before kicking off a run in Europe with Sanguisugabogg, Fulci, and Celestial Sanctuary in the new year.

The band’s recent album, Death Comes to All, was fueled by youthful ambition and a sharp creative focus, with producer Randy LeBoeuf elevating their sound to new heights. The album’s artwork, crafted by WYRMWALK, offers a fitting representation of the blood-soaked dread and suffocating darkness within the music. The album is available in multiple formats, including CD and various vinyl pressings.
