Elektrikill brings one of the most theatrical cuts from Küntzpiracy to the screen as “Vampire Blond” steps out of the shadows in a new official music video.

A Vampire, a Drag Queen and a Different Side of Elektrikill

Elektrikill has released the official music video for “Vampire Blond,” giving one of the more colorful and theatrical tracks from Küntzpiracy its own visual spotlight.

The song originally appeared on Elektrikill’s ten-track Küntzpiracy, released through Evol Music Group. While much of the album digs into considerably heavier territory—including corruption, social division, hypocrisy and political frustration—“Vampire Blond” deliberately breaks away from that weight.

Elektrikill founder Steve Vil has described the song’s subject rather simply: a vampire drag queen.

That premise gives Elektrikill an opportunity to trade some of the album’s dystopian anger for something more playful, campy and nocturnal without abandoning the dark electronic world surrounding the project. Against Küntzpiracy’s heavier themes, “Vampire Blond” becomes a welcome detour into the strange, theatrical and unapologetically weird side of underground culture.

“Vampire Blond” Gets the Visual Treatment

Musically, the track sits comfortably inside Elektrikill’s collision of industrial, dark electronic and electro-goth influences, driven by electronic rhythms and a distinctly late-night atmosphere.

Venue Details

Dark Force Fest will take place at the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel in Parsippany, NJ, just one hour from New York City. This castle-style hotel boasts 44,000 square feet of event space and 370 hotel rooms. While accommodations at the main venue sold out quickly, there are still rooms available at overflow hotels in the surrounding area.

Darkwave/Post-Punk trio Corlyx is back with their latest single, Zombie Kid, released through Out Of Line Music. A thrilling mix of dark, gothy tones and infectious beats, Zombie Kid showcases yet another dimension of Corlyx’s evolving sound. Alongside the release, the band has announced their new album, Purple Pain, set to drop on February 14, 2025. Pre-orders for the album begin Thursday, November 28, 2024.

About Corlyx
Originally hailing from Los Angeles, Corlyx—often described as a “Death Pop” act—has found a home between the UK and Italy. The band, consisting of Caitlin Stokes (vocals, keytar), Brandon Ashley (vocals, guitar), and Davide Rocco (bass), draws inspiration from 80s post-punk, 90s grunge, and darkwave.

Over time, Corlyx has evolved from their industrial dark electro beginnings to craft music with 80s goth undertones that perfectly complement Caitlin’s ethereal yet commanding vocals. This evolution has solidified their unique sound, a blend of haunting melancholy and dancefloor-ready energy.

Corlyx’s impressive resume includes collaborations with artists such as Lord Of The Lost, Blutengel, Massive Ego, and Ashbury Heights. They’ve toured extensively across Europe, the UK, and the US, performing alongside Twin Tribes, Double Echo, and Unzucht, and have become a staple act at gothic festivals. Their live shows are known for their electrifying energy, often leaving audiences in a dance-fueled frenzy.
