HOCICO Publish β€œUnseen Horror Scenes” Through Digital Rage, Dystopian Decay, and Industrial Brutality

Mexican electro-industrial legends HOCICO return with a vicious new chapter as Unseen Horror Scenes is officially out now through Out Of Line Music. Arriving just ahead of a massive touring and festival season, the new album pushes Erk Aicrag and Racso Agroyam deeper into the collapsing psyche of the digital age, transforming paranoia, addiction, betrayal, algorithmic manipulation, and spiritual decay into an aggressive sonic weapon.

Rather than offering escapism, HOCICO force listeners directly into confrontation. Across fifteen tracks, Unseen Horror Scenes tears through themes of online toxicity, emotional desensitization, social collapse, and technological corruption with surgical precision. Songs like β€œBrainrot” and β€œThe Screen” dissect internet-era psychological deterioration, while β€œHey TΓΊ!” featuring Rafael Reyes of PRAYERS injects scorched-earth fury into the album’s relentless momentum. From the opening assault of β€œDark Paradigm” to the apocalyptic closer β€œEchoes of the End,” the record never loosens its grip.

Musically, the album detonates with punishing industrial rhythms, hyperkinetic drum & bass chaos, razor-sharp EBM sequencing, and Erk Aicrag’s unmistakable venom-soaked vocals. The production feels raw, hostile, and claustrophobic while still remaining intensely danceable β€” a balance HOCICO have mastered throughout decades of reshaping the electro-industrial underground. The result is an album that feels disturbingly accurate to the emotional state of modern society.

Beyond the music itself, Unseen Horror Scenes arrives with one of the band’s most ambitious physical release campaigns to date. Fans can choose between a deluxe 2CD digipak featuring the bonus disc Hidden Horror Scenes, splatter vinyl editions, cassette formats, exclusive merch, and the wildly unique β€œFuego Puro” chili-filled vinyl limited to only 100 copies worldwide. Embedded with real chili flakes, the collector’s item blurs the line between music release and industrial art object.

The album’s futuristic KiT edition continues that experimental philosophy by merging physical collectibles with digital access through a dedicated mobile app experience. Exclusive cards, bonus content, videos, lyrics, and interactive packaging create an immersive extension of HOCICO’s dystopian universe β€” one that mirrors the same digital obsession and technological dependency explored throughout the album itself.

As HOCICO prepare to storm major festivals including M’era Luna, Amphi Festival, Castle Party, Dark Storm Festival, and Till Fest, Unseen Horror Scenes stands as another uncompromising statement from one of industrial music’s most influential forces. Furious, confrontational, and unapologetically relevant, the album proves HOCICO remain masters of transforming modern horror into dancefloor catharsis.

Digital Myth to Modern Velocity β€” Juno Reactor Reignite β€œMona Lisa Overdrive” with Reaky Reakson Remix

Juno Reactor return with a thunderous new chapter as their legendary track β€œMona Lisa Overdrive” receives a bold 2026 rework from Slovenian producer Reaky Reakson. Released today, April 17, via Metropolis Records, the remix revives one of the most unforgettable sonic moments from The Matrix Reloaded and launches it straight into the future.

Originally written by Ben Watkins, the mastermind behind Juno Reactor, the composition became synonymous with cinematic adrenaline after soundtracking the iconic freeway chase scene in the 2003 blockbuster. Now, more than two decades later, its pulse has been reborn for a new generation of listeners.

A Classic Rewired for the Present

Rather than simply polishing the original, Reaky Reakson tears into its DNA and reconstructs it with club-focused precision. Crushing percussion, sharpened synth textures, and relentless momentum transform the track into a modern electronic weapon while preserving the grandeur that made the original so unforgettable.

The remix bridges two worlds: the cinematic scale of Juno Reactor’s orchestral intensity and the hard-edged power of contemporary techno. The result feels less like a remake and more like a controlled collision between eras.

Ben Watkins Reflects on the Legacy

Watkins shared the personal significance of the song, noting that β€œMona Lisa Overdrive” was the very first piece he was commissioned to create for The Matrix Reloaded.

He praised the remix for bringing new force and perspective to the composition, celebrating how it honors the spirit of the original while fearlessly pushing it somewhere new. For longtime fans, that endorsement speaks volumes.

Inside The Matrix Ignites New Momentum

The release follows the recent debut of Inside The Matrix, Juno Reactor’s immersive live experience premiered at the Tenerife Noir Festival. Built around music composed for The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions, the production combines projected film visuals with live performance, shining fresh light on Watkins’ groundbreaking contributions to the franchise.

As renewed attention surrounds the legacy of The Matrix, this remix lands at the perfect moment.

Few artists have blended tribal rhythms, cinematic drama, and electronic innovation as effectively as Juno Reactor. Their influence stretches across industrial, psytrance, soundtrack culture, and beyond. This new remix proves that visionary music does not ageβ€”it mutates, evolves, and strikes again.

Reaky Reakson’s version of β€œMona Lisa Overdrive” is not nostalgia. It is resurrection.

PIG Cuts Deep with β€œSex & Suicide” Ahead of β€œHurt People Hurt”

Industrial provocateur Raymond Watts returns with a razor-edged new single that dives headfirst into desire, destruction, and transformation.

NEW SINGLE OUT NOW β€” APRIL 10, 2026 VIA Metropolis Records

PIG is backβ€”and as unapologetic as ever. The new single, β€œSex & Suicide,” arrives as a visceral preview of the upcoming album β€œHurt People Hurt,” set for release on May 22, 2026.

A HIGH-WIRE ACT OF DESIRE AND DESTRUCTION ⚑

Helmed by industrial glam architect Raymond Watts and longtime collaborator Jim Davies (ex-The Prodigy / Pitchshifter), β€œSex & Suicide” is a track that doesn’t just flirt with extremesβ€”it lives there.

Watts describes the song as:

β€œA song of pain, pleasure, obsession and possession, written for the departed, the broken-hearted and the newly started… a walk on the high-wire blade of want for something so bad you beg for release.”

That tension pulses through every layer of the trackβ€”equal parts seductive and suffocating, pushing listeners into the depths of craving and consequence.

VISUAL DECAY β€” THE LYRIC VIDEO πŸŽ₯

The single is accompanied by a striking lyric video directed by Grete Stitch Laus, amplifying the track’s themes of vulnerability and volatility through stark, stylized visuals.

THE ALBUM: β€œHURT PEOPLE HURT” 🩸

Set to drop May 22, β€œHurt People Hurt” marks the next chapter in PIG’s long, twisted lineage. Across 10 tracks, the album promises a full-spectrum descent into the psycheβ€”where ecstasy and anguish collide in a decadent, industrial soundscape.

Tracklist:

  1. Tosca’s Kiss
  2. Monkey See Monkey Do
  3. Sex & Suicide
  4. Hurt People Hurt
  5. Scars
  6. Quid Pro Quo
  7. Ruins
  8. DNA
  9. Imposter
  10. The Reaper’s Lament

Following the operatic intensity of β€œTosca’s Kiss,” this second single sharpens the blade even further, carving out a space where misfits, reprobates, and the beautifully broken can loseβ€”and rediscoverβ€”themselves.

LEGACY OF A SCENE ARCHITECT 🏭

Raymond Watts’ influence stretches across decades of industrial evolution. Beyond PIG’s fourteen-album catalog, his collaborations with EinstΓΌrzende Neubauten, Foetus, and Psychic TV helped define the genre’s edge.

He also played a foundational role in KMFDM, contributing to some of the band’s most iconic work during the β€˜80s and β€˜90s.

Outside of music, Watts has left his mark on global fashion and art, contributing to exhibitions like Punk: Chaos to Couture and collaborating with visionary designer Alexander McQueen on β€œPlato’s Atlantis”—later reimagined as β€œSavage Beauty.”

LIVE RITUALS INCOMING πŸ”₯

PIG will bring this new era to the stage with upcoming performances, including:

  • Dark Force Fest β€” May 1, 2026 in Parsippany, New Jersey
  • Cold Waves XIV β€” September 2026 dates in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Austin
  • Tokyo, Japan β€” June 26 (sold out, with another date expected)

Dimmu Borgir Ascend Once More with β€œGrand Serpent Rising”- a Music Video for a Devastating New Single

A new chapter has begun in the ever-expanding legacy of Dimmu Borgirβ€”and this time, it arrives with thunder, fire, and a serpent coiled around the future of symphonic black metal.

The Return of a Titan βš™οΈ

After years of silence following 2018’s Eonian, Dimmu Borgir have officially broken their creative dormancy with the announcement of a brand-new record titled Grand Serpent Rising. This marks a monumental return for a band that has long defined the intersection of orchestral grandeur and extreme metal aggression.

The reveal doesn’t come quietlyβ€”it strikes with purpose.

Alongside the album announcement, the band has unleashed the first single, giving fans an immediate taste of what’s to come. And make no mistake: this is not a subtle re-entry. This is a statement.

A Sound Forged in Darkness ⚑

The newly released track channels everything that has made Dimmu Borgir a dominant force for decadesβ€”layered orchestration, punishing rhythms, and an atmosphere that feels both apocalyptic and cinematic.

There’s a renewed intensity embedded within the sound. While Eonian leaned heavily into symphonic textures, this new material suggests a sharpened edgeβ€”where melody and brutality coexist with even greater precision.

It feels deliberate. Focused. Evolved.

The Serpent Rises πŸ”₯

The title Grand Serpent Rising alone evokes myth, power, and transformationβ€”imagery that aligns perfectly with Dimmu Borgir’s long-standing aesthetic of darkness, mysticism, and dominance.

Though full details about the album remain limited, the unveiling of a single alongside the announcement signals something much larger than a one-off release. This is the beginning of a new era.

And if history is any indication, Dimmu Borgir are not interested in revisiting the pastβ€”they’re here to redefine their future.

Dimmu Borgir have always occupied a unique space in metalβ€”bridging underground credibility with massive, cinematic appeal. Their influence stretches across black metal, symphonic metal, and beyond.

This return isn’t just about new music. It’s about momentum.

  • A reactivation of one of metal’s most iconic forces
  • A signal to the scene that evolution is far from over
  • A reminder that scale, atmosphere, and aggression can coexist at the highest level

The serpent has risenβ€”and it’s not done striking.

The arrival of a new release marks a significant milestone for the band, carrying a strong emotional weight that reflects both their journey and the experiences behind the music. While difficult to define in a single sentiment, the album represents a culmination of personal expression shaped by the band’s ongoing creative path.

Described as one of their most emotionally driven records to date, β€œK8: RUSTBELT NU METAL 3” leans heavily into themes rooted in lived experience. The material explores deeply personal territory, offering a raw and introspective perspective that aligns with the current cultural and social climate.

β€œK8: RUSTBELT NU METAL 3” is built on authenticity. Across eight tracks, the album explores themes drawn directly from real-life experiences, giving the record a grounded and visceral edge. Makes My Blood Dance Ignite the Dark with β€œBlack Summer” on Metropolis Records

Makes My Blood Dance return with a seductive, cinematic new single as their 2026 takeover accelerates.

Out February 27, 2026 via Metropolis Records, β€œBlack Summer” marks a defining chapter for Makes My Blood Dance β€” a New York-based force fusing electro-goth, pop-metal, and electronic dance energy into one relentless pulse.

A Midnight Soundtrack for the Modern Gothic

With β€œBlack Summer,” MMBD expand their dark theatrical universe into something that feels like midnight cinema colliding with underground seduction. The track doesn’t just play β€” it stalks, it shimmers, it smolders. Built on industrial textures and club-ready momentum, it positions the band deeper inside the modern heavy-electronic circuit while amplifying their signature fusion of fashion, movement, and immersive atmosphere.

The single follows December’s β€œYour Little Hand In Mine,” further solidifying the band’s sonic identity under the Metropolis banner. Since signing with the label in late 2025, MMBD have sharpened their aesthetic into a fully realized alternative world β€” not just a sound, but an experience.

From Midwest Momentum to National Domination

After completing a successful Midwest run alongside Smile Empty Soul and Primer 55, the band launched their own β€œNo Love Without Blood Tour” across the Southeast.

This spring, MMBD join Powerman 5000 and 12 Stones for a full U.S. national tour across April and May β€” a pivotal stretch that places them squarely in front of metal loyalists, industrial diehards, and alternative club crowds alike.

This isn’t just touring. It’s positioning.

Building Toward the Debut Album

β€œBlack Summer” will appear on the band’s forthcoming debut album alongside:

  • β€œHeavy Metal Armour”
  • β€œTime And A Place”
  • β€œYour Little Hand In Mine”

These releases have already surpassed one million Spotify streams, with similarly strong traction on YouTube β€” proof that their cinematic presentation hits just as hard visually as it does sonically.

Where Industrial Meets Nightlife Culture

Standing at the crossroads of industrial rock, darkwave, and electronic nightlife, Makes My Blood Dance are constructing something larger than a band. Their shows blur the lines between metal gig and underground club ritual β€” heavy guitars collide with dance-floor propulsion, and introspective atmospheres erupt into communal release.

Each performance feels less like a concert and more like a temporary dimension.

Modern. Kinetic. Built for movement.

CARPENTER BRUT IGNITES THE ARENA WITH β€œSPEED OR PERISH” AS LEATHER TEMPLE LOOMS ON THE HORIZON

The engines are screaming, the neon is flickering, and the countdown has begun. Carpenter Brut has unleashed his latest single, β€œSpeed Or Perish,” a high-octane descent into chaos pulled from his forthcoming album Leather Temple, arriving February 27 via No Quarter Prod / Virgin Records. The track doesn’t simply play β€” it detonates.

Pre-order Leather Temple here:
Pre-Order Leather Temple

Leather Temple marks the third and final chapter in Carpenter Brut’s Leather trilogy β€” a saga that has fused cinematic horror, glam-metal excess, and dystopian synthwave into a blood-soaked neon mythology. This new installment places listeners at the heart of Midwichpolis, a post-apocalyptic metropolis born from nuclear fallout. At its core stands the Leather Temple itself β€” a brutal coliseum where speed is survival and hesitation is extinction.

β€œSpeed Or Perish” captures the sonic violence of that arena. Propulsive synth lines slam against electro-stomp percussion and heavy, razor-edged riffs, while dramatic electronics escalate the tension into something primal. It feels like engines revving before impact β€” like a crowd roaring as war machines collide in a life-or-death race.

Directed and written by Seth Ickerman and produced by No Quarter Prod, the accompanying video transforms that concept into a high-speed bloodbath. Blades flash. Gunfire erupts. Metal tears into metal. It is relentless, visceral, and unapologetically brutal β€” a visual extension of the track’s ferocity.

Leather Temple pushes Carpenter Brut’s sound into even more cinematic territory while sharpening its attack. The album leans into a saturated ’90s electro atmosphere β€” dark, unflinching, and driven by distorted layers and cutting beats. Each track functions like a scene in a film: concise, charged, and kinetic. There’s no time for exposition. It hits fast. It hits hard.

The Leather series began in 2018 with Leather Teeth, a stylized homage to ’80s glam rock excess. In 2022, Leather Terror shifted into darker territory, delivering a slasher-horror narrative centered on the vengeful killer Bret Halford. With Leather Temple, the trilogy reaches its climax β€” a final act that blends cinematic storytelling with relentless sonic propulsion.

Leather Temple Track Listing:

Ouverture (Deus Ex Machina)
Major Threat
Leather Temple
She Rules The Ruins
Start Your Engines
Neon Requiem
Iron Sanctuary
The Misfits The Rebels
Speed or Perish
The End Complete

Since 2012, Carpenter Brut has carved out a singular space within the global synthwave movement, merging electronic music, metal aggression, and deep-rooted 1980s pop culture into a cohesive, shadow-drenched universe. Drawing inspiration from horror auteurs like John Carpenter and Dario Argento, as well as the sonic assault of Slayer and Justice, he has built a stylized world where retro thrillers collide with futuristic dystopia.

That immersive vision explodes to life on stage. Carpenter Brut has announced a run of live shows across Europe, the USA, and Canada in March 2026, including a special standalone UK headline appearance at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire on March 22. DUTCH PROGRESSIVE METAL TITANS TEXTURES RETURN WITH GENOTYPE, OUT NOW

After nearly a decade of silence, Dutch progressive metal innovators Textures have finally returned with Genotypeβ€”a powerful, forward-thinking album that proves the band hasn’t lost a single ounce of intensity, ambition, or emotional depth. Released today, the album arrives alongside a striking new video for the six-minute epic β€œMeasuring the Heavens” and the launch of a massive European tour with Jinjer.

Long anticipated by fans, Genotype is not a sequel to 2016’s Phenotypeβ€”it’s a rebirth. Written entirely from scratch and self-produced, the album distills everything that defines TEXTURES into eight meticulously crafted tracks. Mixed by Forrester Savell (Karnivool, Dead Letter Circus), Genotype balances surgical technicality with emotional weight, pushing heaviness, melody, and atmosphere into new territory πŸ’€

Measuring the Heavens: Tension as a Weapon

The newly released lyric video for β€œMeasuring the Heavens” is a masterclass in restraint and release. Drummer Stef Broks describes the track as a deliberate exercise in tension-buildingβ€”six minutes of controlled pressure before a final, punishing payoff. It’s a song that challenges patience, expectations, and comfort zones, rewarding listeners willing to go the distance.

Lyrically, Genotype speaks directly to outsiders, introverts, and those navigating unseen inner worlds. It’s an album about authenticity, resilience, and refusing to dilute who you areβ€”music for those who exist just outside the spotlight, but burn just as bright πŸ”₯

πŸ’€ Nightly Headliners: Icons After Dark

  • Sunday Night: London After Midnight close the festival with an iconic, long-awaited performanceβ€”an enduring force on dark dance floors for decades.

πŸ’€ Thursday Pre-Party: The Ritual Begins Early
The descent starts Thursday night at QXT’s Night Club with an intimate pre-party featuring Ego Likenessβ€”a perfect warm-up before the castle gates open.

Rob Zombie & Marilyn Manson Announce Co-Headline β€œFreaks on Parade” North American Tour 2026

Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson β€” two of rock’s most notorious and theatrical icons β€” are hitting the road together once again for a massive 21-date North American co-headline tour this summer. Dubbed the β€œFreaks on Parade” Tour, the trek promises late-summer chaos, industrial shock-rock spectacle, and a carnival-of-the-damned energy that only these two showmen can deliver.

The tour kicks off on August 20 in West Palm Beach, Florida at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre and barrels through major cities including Tampa, Charlotte, Boston, Chicago, Toronto, and Detroit, before closing out on September 20 in Concord, California at the Toyota Pavilion at Concord.

Tour Highlights

  • 21 dates across the U.S. and Canada with stops in Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ontario, Michigan, Missouri, Colorado, Utah, Washington, and more.
  • Special guests The Hu, the Mongolian metal collective blending traditional instrumentation with thunderous rhythms, will join every show.
  • Industrial rock veterans Orgy, famed for their late-’90s hits, ride shotgun throughout the tour.
  • Tickets go on sale January 23 to the general public after presales via Citi and artist presales earlier in the week.

This isn’t the first time Zombie and Manson have linked up β€” their storied history goes back to previous joint tours, where theatrical shock rock and chaotic stage presence became a signature draw for fans.

Whether you’re a long-time fan of industrial mayhem or just crave an unforgettable night of warped theatrics and hard-hitting rock, Freaks on Parade is shaping up to be one of summer 2026’s unmissable live experiences.

LORDS OF ACID Return With β€˜Cheeky Freaky’ U.S. Tour and First New Album in Eight Years

After years of anticipation, Lords of Acid are officially back on U.S. soil. The legendary electronic provocateurs have announced the β€œCheeky Freaky Tour,” a 29-date headlining run launching April 25 in Las Vegas and stretching coast to coast through the end of May. More than a simple comeback, the tour marks the opening chapter of a fully reenergized era for the bandβ€”one that looks forward without erasing its infamous past.

This spring run is deliberately framed as a reinvention rather than a nostalgia trip. The β€œCheeky Freaky Tour” blends intimate club settings with large-scale festival appearances, including Sick New World in Las Vegas and Ritual Noize Fest in Denver. Each stop promises a high-impact, immersive experience that reflects decades of live evolution while amplifying the band’s modern edge.

Founder and creative architect Praga Khan confirms that this momentum is driven by more than touring ambition. For the first time in eight years, LORDS OF ACID have completed entirely new material, with a brand-new album expected later this year. According to Khan, the upcoming record respects the legacy that built the band’s reputation while decisively pushing their sound, visuals, and performance energy into the future.

Now fronted by Carla Harvey, the current Acid Queen era bridges generations seamlessly. Setlists are designed to collide erasβ€”iconic tracks like β€œPu**y,” β€œI Sit On Acid,” and β€œCrablouse” sit alongside unreleased material that previews what’s next. The focus remains on tension, theatrical presence, and sonic impact, reinforcing the band’s reputation for performances that feel confrontational, playful, and dangerously alive.

The supporting lineup has been curated to match the tour’s boundary-breaking ethos. Dead on a Sunday bring raw, modern gothic energy, while Princess Superstar delivers razor-sharp lyricism and club-ready confidence. Tony and the Kiki add fashion-forward alternative pop flair, and MZ Neon opens each night with pulsing underground electronics. Notably, both Princess Superstar and Tony and the Kiki appear on the forthcoming LORDS OF ACID album, offering fans an early glimpse into the band’s next creative phaseβ€”live and unfiltered.

Decades into their career, LORDS OF ACID continue to defy expectations of what an electronic act can be. Loud, visual, provocative, and unapologetically bold, the β€œCheeky Freaky Tour” is less about reclaiming relevance and more about proving they never lost it.

KMFDM European Tour Postponed as Ultra Heavy Beat Faction Prepares to Strike Back with ENEMY

The Ultra Heavy Beat never diesβ€”but sometimes it’s forced to regroup. German electronic and industrial rock pioneers KMFDM have officially postponed their nearly sold-out European tour, originally scheduled for February and March 2026, due to a severe illness requiring immediate medical intervention and ongoing therapy.

Tour Update: Health Comes First

The tour was set to support the band’s forthcoming 24th studio album, ENEMY, but circumstances beyond their control have brought plans to a temporary halt.

β€œWe are so very sorry. We were looking forward to do this tour, but we will make up for it,” states KMFDM founder Sascha β€˜KΓ€pt’n K’ Konietzko.
β€œWe appreciate your love and support! Long live the ULTRA HEAVY BEAT,” adds co-vocalist Lucia Cifarelli.

All tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. A revised tour timeline is expected to be announced soon.

Album Release Unchanged: ENEMY Arrives February 6, 2026

Despite the tour delay, the release of ENEMY remains locked in for February 6, 2026, via Metropolis Records.

The first single, β€œOUBLIETTE,” is already available and sets the tone for what may be KMFDM’s most confrontational release yet.

ENEMY

  • Formats: 2Γ—LP | CD | Digital
  • Release Date: February 6, 2026
  • Label: Metropolis Records
  • Includes the single: OUBLIETTE (WAV | MP3 | Streaming | Bandcamp)

The Sound of Defiance

Society fractures. Fascism parades openly. Silence is demanded. KMFDM responds the only way they know howβ€”louder, sharper, and more uncompromising than ever.

With 42 years of conceptual continuity through distinction, KMFDM declare themselves the ENEMYβ€”a direct challenge to hypocrisy, discrimination, and systemic decay. The album is helmed by the songwriting and vocal command of Konietzko and Cifarelli, driven by the percussive assault of Andy Selway, and now reinforced by London-based guitarist Tidor Nieddu, whose vivid six-string attack injects fresh aggression into the KMFDM arsenal.

Adding another striking dimension, Annabella Konietzko appears on the explosive track β€œYOÜ,” marking her songwriting debut with the band after mesmerizing audiences during the 40th anniversary tour.

Musical Warfare Across the Tracklist

ENEMY is stylistically fearlessβ€”biting satire, political venom, and dancefloor-ready brutality collide across its runtime:

  • Dance/rock melodicism: OUBLIETTE
  • Dark industrial grooves: CATCH & KILL
  • Thrash satire: OUTERNATIONAL INTERVENTION
  • Vicious industrial metal: L’ETAT
  • Funk-driven menace: VAMPYR
  • Dub-laced defiance: STRAY BULLET 2.0

KMFDM continues to moveβ€”dancing on the blood-dimmed tide, roaring against a world that demands ignorance over awareness.

ENEMY – Tracklist

  1. ENEMY
  2. OUBLIETTE
  3. L’ETAT
  4. VAMPYR
  5. YOÜ
  6. OUTERNATIONAL INTERVENTION

  11. THE SECOND COMING

Legacy of the Ultra Heavy Beat

Founded in Hamburg in 1984 by Sascha Konietzko, KMFDM carved a singular path through industrial rockβ€”combining confrontational politics, abrasive electronics, and undeniable hooks. Early releases in Germany led to U.S. success through Wax Trax! Records, with the 1990s cementing their legacy via hits like β€œJuke Joint Jezebel” and soundtrack placements in Bad Boys and Mortal Kombat.

Bands such as Rammstein and Korn cut their teeth opening on KMFDM tours. After a brief hiatus in 1999, the band re-emerged on Metropolis Records with Lucia Cifarelli, continuing a relentless cycle of releases and tours. Their most recent album, LET GO (2024), capped a 40-year legacy, followed by a remixed and remastered edition of HAU RUCK in 2025.

MASTER BOOT RECORD tours in support of HARDWAREZ, the 2024 full-length released via Metal Blade Records.

Created by multi-instrumentalist and mastermind Vittorio D’Amore (aka Victor Love), HARDWAREZ explores the duality of technology β€” power versus dependence, precision versus chaos. The album follows Personal Computer (2022) and Floppy Disk Overdrive (2020), further expanding MBR’s cybernetic mythology.

True to form, HARDWAREZ was composed live via desktop streaming, entirely programmed through MIDI, then reinforced by real guitars, updated drum systems, and a heavier, punchier mix approach developed through intensive touring.

πŸ’€ DULCE LIQUIDO Detonates New Single β€œLA INFAMIA DE LOS FALSOS” Ahead of Upcoming Album MIND DOMINATION πŸ”₯

The godfather of Mexican harsh electronics is back. Racso Agroyamβ€”founding member of Hocico and the mind behind the cult industrial project Dulce LΓquidoβ€”unleashes one final blast of sonic violence before the arrival of his long-awaited new album MIND DOMINATION, out December 19th, 2025 via Out of Line Music.

Today, Dulce LΓquido sets the world ablaze with the punishing new single β€œLa Infamia De Los Falsos.” Grinding, venomous, and unflinchingly raw, it offers a deadly final preview of the chaos to come.

The Final Warning Shot ⚑πŸ§ͺ

β€œLa Infamia De Los Falsos” embodies everything that defines Dulce LΓquido: corrosive rhythms, mechanical terror, and an atmosphere dense enough to crush lungs. It is rhythmic torture at its purestβ€”Aggranoise, industrial, minimal, and catastrophic.

Listen now:
La Infamia De Los Falsos

Mind Domination β€” The Next Era of Sonic Warfare 🧨

Mind Domination is built to level dancefloors and destroy neural pathways. Fueled by pounding beats, twisted synths, and Racso’s signature dystopian vision, this album is a brutal continuation of the sound that turned Dulce LΓquido into one of the most influential forces in dark industrial music.

Racso describes it best:

β€œWhen atoms and beats are combined, Dulce LΓquido is ready to annihilate the dancefloors. The record will keep your mind and body dancing until you die on the dancefloor.”

Minimal. Violent. Hypnotic.
This is industrial distortion at full forceβ€”a ritual of noise, panic, hate, and absolute catharsis.

Racso explains:

β€œI’ve been preserving this material for years. Some of it I rescued from old recordingsβ€”it’s pure gold from the past. These emotions can never be replaced, and I’m proud to finally share them.”

About Dulce LΓquido πŸ–€

Founded in 1993 by Racso Agroyam, Dulce LΓquido is an uncompromising vision of industrial extremityβ€”an outlet for isolation, rage, and psychic disintegration. The project rejects boundaries, creating twisted, violent soundscapes where imagination bleeds into reality.

βš”οΈ AMON AMARTH Summon a Continental Onslaught with β€œTHE ALLFATHER AWAKENS” 2026 UK + EU Headline Tour πŸ’€

Sweden’s unstoppable Viking metal warlords Amon Amarth are returning in 2026 with a colossal UK + EU headline siegeβ€”one built on fire, steel, and the promise of an entirely new era of brutality.

The Allfather Awakens Tour brings an all-Swedish lineup of devastation, with Orbit Culture and Soilwork joining the charge as the longships push ashore throughout October and November 2026.

The band will also deliver an extended headline set, forging the next chapter of Viking metal mythology. The raid begins October 9th in Manchester before tearing across London, Wolverhampton, and then the entire EU with no mercy left behind.

This is not myth. This is not illusion. This is modern metal’s most dominant storytellers calling their armies to war.

πŸ”₯ SOULFLY Release New Music Video: β€œNO PAIN = NO POWER” πŸ’€

New Music Video Unleashed + CHAMA Out Now via Nuclear Blast Records

Arizona’s extreme metal icons SOULFLY return in full tribal fury with their thirteenth album CHAMA β€” a blazing, bone-crushing testament to Max Cavalera’s unshakable creative spirit. The record summons the primal roots of SOULFLY’s legacy while igniting it with a modern, war-torn vitality. Heavy, spiritual, and raw, CHAMA proves that nearly three decades in, Max is still a master of the metallic ritual.

βš”οΈ β€˜NO PAIN = NO POWER’ – THE WAR CRY
The new single, β€œNo Pain = No Power,” erupts as a tribal-metal battle anthem, embodying SOULFLY’s trademark rhythm-driven ferocity. Featuring Gabriel Franco (Unto Others), Ben Cook (No Warning), and Dino Cazares (Fear Factory) on guitar, the track channels pure resistance and transformation β€” a sonic declaration that strength is forged through struggle.

Directed by Zyon Cavalera and edited by Cody Longhere, the accompanying video merges the worlds of metal and UFC, transforming pain into empowerment.
πŸ‘‰ Watch the official video here

πŸ’¬ Max Cavalera on β€˜No Pain = No Power’:

β€œTo me, this is the ultimate guest song and video. Nikolas Motta, Biaggio, Dino, Igor A, Bootsie, Gabe, and Ben made this a collective masterpiece! Zyon took this album and video to the next level β€” it’s the first time he wrote and directed a video. Mixing UFC and Metal will hopefully inspire a whole new generation of fans! Chama!!”

πŸ’¬ Zyon Cavalera adds:

β€œIt feels like just yesterday we were watching UFC fights as a family, dreaming of collaborating with a fighter. Then we saw Pereira using β€˜Itsari,’ and we were hooked. β€˜No Pain = No Power’ proves your dreams aren’t that far away.”

GATES TO HELL Drops New Single ‘Disfigured’ Ahead of Fall Tour Dates

Louisville natives GATES TO HELL are back with a new digital single, “Disfigured.” The track is a brutally heavy, all-killer-no-filler songβ€”essentially one long, punishing breakdown. The single is a B-side from the band’s recent album, Death Comes to All, which was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Randy LeBoeuf.

The band comments that they wrote the track a few years ago and decided to release it now to coincide with their upcoming tour with Dying Fetus. They recall playing it on a 2023 tour where it got the crowd moving every night, and they’re excited to finally have it out for the world to hear.

Starting on September 20th, GATES TO HELL will embark on a 24-day trek that includes performances at the New England Metal & Hardcore Fest and Louder Than Life. They will also join headliners Dying Fetus on their ‘Into The Cesspool’ US/Canadian 2025 tour with Mugshot. Following the tour, the band will wrap up the year with a show in Albany, New York, before kicking off a run in Europe with Sanguisugabogg, Fulci, and Celestial Sanctuary in the new year.

The band’s recent album, Death Comes to All, was fueled by youthful ambition and a sharp creative focus, with producer Randy LeBoeuf elevating their sound to new heights. The album’s artwork, crafted by WYRMWALK, offers a fitting representation of the blood-soaked dread and suffocating darkness within the music. The album is available in multiple formats, including CD and various vinyl pressings.

COGNITIVE Drops “People = Shit” Cover Ahead of US Tour with NILE

Technical death metal architects COGNITIVE have unveiled their outstanding cover of the Slipknot classic, “People = Shit.” The standalone single arrives in advance of the band’s upcoming US tour, supporting death metal legends NILE. The Underground Awaits Tour 2025 is set to begin this Friday, September 12th in Raleigh, North Carolina, and will run through October 11th in Indianapolis, Indiana. Additional support will be provided by Cryptopsy and labelmates, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life.

In a collective statement, COGNITIVE commented on the new release: “We have been hard at work writing our next album and prepping for tour, but decided to spend some time having fun and recorded a cover of ‘People = Shit’ by the almighty Slipknot! We wanted to have fun with something that wasn’t exactly death metal, but still in the extreme realm! The world is an awful place, and humanity doesn’t make it any better, so to us the Slipknot math and song title added up correctly! We hope you enjoy and see you on the road!”

COGNITIVE will be touring in support of their most recent full-length album, Abhorrence, released last spring via Metal Blade Records. The record finds the New Jersey-based quintet at their brutal best. Abhorrence carries on band tradition with its maniacal fusion of relentless riffs and devastating lyrics, making for a raging, draining, and ultimately fulfilling experience.

Mach Fox Announces New Album “Chaos Of Man”

Mach FoX will release the new 7-song album Chaos of Man in October 2025 on Phage Tapes. The album will be available on cassette and digital.

Originally intended for the third Zwaremachine album, these songs were reworked after the passing of drummer Dein Offizier in August 2023. The project was then released under the Mach FoX name, as the songs no longer fit the current Zwaremachine live set. The album features the classic Zwaremachine trio of Mach FoX, bassist Dbot, and the late Dein Offizier on surdo drum.

The single “Biteback” from the album was released on Friday, September 5th.

Chaos of Man is for fans of industrial rock and Wax Trax.

Zwaremachine is currently on “The Machine Comes Alive Tour,” which includes both European and U.S. dates. This tour is notable as it features the new lineup following the passing of drummer Dein Offizier.

Key Tour Details:

  • U.S. Dates: The tour includes shows in Sioux Falls, Minneapolis (a hometown show supporting LeΓ¦ther Strip), and Chicago.
  • European Dates: The band is also performing in Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands, with some shows featuring bands like Vuduvox and Enzo Kreft.
  • Current Lineup: The live shows feature Dutch guitarist Paul K and a new drummer/guitarist in addition to founder Mach FoX. This new live configuration is distinct from the trio that recorded the Chaos of Man album.

On June 20th, I released the long-awaited reissue of my debut album. This isn’t just a simple re-release; it’s a complete reinvention of the 2005 original, rebuilt from the ground up using all the original samples and synthesizers.

During the initial preorder, the red vinyl editions nearly sold out, but a handful were reserved for my online shops. They’ve just arrived in our facility and are shipping now. Don’t miss out, because once they’re gone, they’re gone! Closer to Human is available in all formats in both the Aesthetic Perfection North American and European webshops.

How to Make It When You Haven’t Made It

On May 3rd, 2025, I finally held the talk I’d been planning for over a decade. Originally conceived for SXSW in 2014, my lecture explores the realities, promises, and pitfalls of being an independent musician. It’s meant to help artists turn their passion into a profession without relying on the traditional music industry.

Give it a watch on YouTube and let me know if you’d like me to do more presentations like this.

πŸ–€ BLACKBRIAR Summon the Storm with New Single “Harpy” + Announce Album & TourA Thousand Little Deaths arrive August 22nd

β€œI’ve died a thousand little deaths, and I’ve got something you might like:
A carrion heart… will you take me on a flight?”

Dutch gothic storytellers BLACKBRIAR have unleashed their haunting new single β€œHarpy”, a soaring ode to the mythological spirit of wind and storm. Known in ancient lore for abducting those cursed by the gods, the harpy becomes both guide and symbol for a soul seeking release.

A chilling video will follow in the coming days…

Zora Cock (vocals) shares the personal darkness behind the song:

β€œIn this song, I call upon a Harpy to please carry me away after I’ve died a thousand little deaths. I lure it with my carrion heartβ€”after all, Harpies are known as human vultures. If not, I fear I might be stuck in the same place, slowly left eroding. I need to die one last time to finally be laid to rest. This song, β€˜Harpy,’ inspired the album title.”
