After years of silence and anticipation, Unter Null continues her long-awaited resurgence with the official music video for “Coming Up To Breathe,” translating raw emotion into a powerful visual statement that cuts straight to the core.
A Visual Reckoning 🖤 “Coming Up To Breathe” has already resonated deeply as a comeback track—equal parts defiance, vulnerability, and survival. With the release of its official music video, Unter Null elevates the song into a cinematic experience, pairing stark imagery with the relentless emotional weight that defined her earlier legacy while signaling a sharpened, more intentional evolution.
Rather than relying on excess or spectacle, the video leans into atmosphere and tension. Every frame reinforces the song’s central theme: the fight to reclaim identity and breath after prolonged suffocation—personal, creative, and societal. It’s not nostalgia. It’s confrontation.
A Milestone Moment in the Unter Null Revival 🔥 This release marks a significant chapter in Unter Null’s return to the industrial landscape. Long regarded as a defining voice in the aggrotech and dark electro movement, her re-emergence has been measured, deliberate, and uncompromising. The video for “Coming Up To Breathe” stands as both a statement and a promise: this era is not about revisiting the past—it’s about finishing unfinished business.
For longtime followers, it’s a powerful reminder of why Unter Null mattered then. For new listeners, it’s an invitation into a universe built on truth, pressure, and release.
Till Lindemann, the unmistakable voice and provocateur behind Rammstein, has once again stepped beyond the boundaries of comfort with the release of his latest solo single, “Alles Ändert Sich…Ich Nicht” (“Everything Changes…Not Me”). Accompanied by an unsettling and visually intense music video, the track continues Lindemann’s uncompromising exploration of identity, decay, and defiance in a world obsessed with transformation.
A Defiant Statement Against Change 🩸
The title alone sets the tone: while the world shifts, mutates, and reinvents itself, Lindemann stands immovable. The song leans heavily into themes of personal stagnation versus societal evolution, delivered with his signature baritone that feels both confrontational and eerily introspective. It’s not nostalgia—it’s resistance.
A Video Designed to Disturb ⚙️
True to form, the accompanying video is deliberately provocative. Stark imagery, unsettling symbolism, and a cold, industrial atmosphere collide to create a visual experience that feels more like a psychological endurance test than a traditional music video. Lindemann doesn’t aim to shock for novelty’s sake—every frame reinforces the song’s core message: discomfort is the point.
Till Lindemann Unfiltered 💀
As with his previous solo work, Lindemann uses this project to push further into raw, controversial territory than Rammstein typically allows. Free from band consensus, his solo output feels more personal, more grotesque, and more confrontational—an unfiltered glimpse into the artist’s darker creative impulses.
“Alles Ändert Sich…Ich Nicht” isn’t just a song; it’s a declaration. Lindemann remains exactly where he wants to be—unapologetic, immovable, and utterly indifferent to expectations.
Symphonic metal powerhouse Beyond the Black return with a soaring, deeply emotional new single, “Ravens,” the fifth preview from their upcoming studio album Break The Silence — arriving January 9th, 2026 via Nuclear Blast Records.
“Ravens” is a tribute to unity, loyalty, and shared resilience — rising together through darkness like the birds that give the song its name. The single and its accompanying video feature contributions from Beyond the Black fans themselves, embodying the album’s central theme: breaking communication barriers and forging connection in a divided world.
Frontwoman Jennifer Haben describes it perfectly:
“‘Ravens’ is about belonging — about finding light in others when everything feels disconnected. Hearing our fans’ voices on this song made that message real in the most beautiful way.”
The band adds a heartfelt message to their community:
“This song was created with our fans at its heart. Thank you, our RAVENS, for helping us bring it to life.”
🎶 Listen Now: /shortcode
The upcoming sixth album, Break The Silence, expands Beyond the Black’s signature melodic metal into a cinematic concept record blending ethno influences and emotional depth. Tracks such as “Let There Be Rain,” “(La Vie Est Un) Cinéma,” “Ravens,” and “The Flood” explore how communication — or the lack of it — shapes relationships, identity, and resilience. It’s a multilayered journey reflecting the complexities of the modern world.
French synthwave titan Carpenter Brut has returned, tearing open the next chapter of his dark cinematic universe with the release of “Leather Temple,” the first single from the third and final installment of his legendary Leather trilogy, arriving in 2026. Brut’s newest offering is a serrated collision of abrasive beats, metallic tension, and dystopian world-building—his most ambitious vision yet.
Directed by Dehn Sora, the accompanying video introduces Midwichpolis, a scorched post-nuclear metropolis reborn from the ashes of 2077. This sprawling nightmare city forms the narrative backbone of the new album.
At its core stands the monolithic Temple, a blackened tower piercing the skyline like a ceremonial blade. It serves as the throne of Iron Tusk, the brutal ruler whose empire thrives on fear, propaganda, and decadence. While the upper sectors—known as the City of Light—bathe in neon excess, holographic glamour, and grotesque luxury, the truth is far more rotten. Below the shimmering facade stretch the Midwich Slums, a labyrinth of ruin, poverty, and perpetual surveillance. Here, rebellion simmers. Here, the shadows swallow the innocent whole.
“Leather Temple” channels this tension directly into sound. Its steel-sharpened beats and heavy metal-kissed riffs echo the rage of the oppressed, while blistering neon synths reflect the glowing corruption above. Saturated in 90s electro grit and soaked in dystopian atmosphere, the track stomps forward with distorted aggression and relentless propulsion—classic Carpenter Brut, but fiercer, darker, and even more cinematic.
Since erupting onto the scene in 2012, Carpenter Brut has fused metal, dark electronic music, and ‘80s pop culture into his own unmistakable universe—equal parts John Carpenter, Dario Argento, Slayer, and Justice. The Leather trilogy has become a modern mythos: • Leather Teeth (2018) — a glam-rock-infused neon nightmare • Leather Terror (2022) — a brutal slasher odyssey following anti-hero Brett Halford • The forthcoming final chapter — the ultimate crescendo of this filmic saga
Carpenter Brut’s live spectacle continues to evolve alongside the narrative, and he has announced extensive European and U.S. dates for March 2026, including a massive North American co-headline run with HEALTH.
Industrial-electro giants Combichrist return with a violent, seductive new offering: “Feraline,” the third single from their forthcoming full-length album. Following the crushing intensity of “Desolation” and “RISE,” the band now dives deeper into ritualistic darkness—unveiling a track built for the clubs, the shadows, and the wildness within us all.
A Dark Invocation for the Dancefloor 🌑🔥
“Feraline” is Combichrist in their purest, most feral form: distorted synths, primal rhythms, hypnotic vocals, and a surge of industrial energy sharpened for a new era.
The band’s signature aggression pulses through every beat, paired with a modern electronic edge that guarantees its domination across goth clubs, industrial nights, and festival floors worldwide.
Frontman Andy LaPlegua explains the myth behind the madness:
“Feraline is a Goddess, symbolizing the return to nature — a way to connect to your own feral self, to truly be free from modern-day society.”
Fresh off a blistering Australian tour and a special old-school electro European run, Combichrist continue to build global momentum. Their next album grows nearer—and “Feraline” serves as a seductive omen of what is coming.
The band now prepares for their next conquests:
E-Tropolis Festival 2026 (Germany)
Dark Force Fest 2026 (USA)
Expect sweat, noise, chaos, and a feral transformation under open skies.

From legendary albums to explosive stage shows, the band stands at the frontlines of the global industrial movement—fearless, evolving, and eternally ferocious.
With their next full-length album rising on the horizon, “Feraline” is more than just a single—it’s the opening growl of a new beast.

The band will also deliver an extended headline set, forging the next chapter of Viking metal mythology. The raid begins October 9th in Manchester before tearing across London, Wolverhampton, and then the entire EU with no mercy left behind.

Today, darkwave and synthpop powerhouse Brittany Bindrim drops her new full-length Counterpoison, a record that radiates cinematic tension, propulsive beats, and raw emotion. This latest release marks a fierce, faster-paced evolution from her 2024 debut Velella Velella, diving headfirst into the shadows of duality, resistance, and renewal.
🔥 A Transformation Through Sound At its core, Counterpoison is a story of transformation — an antidote for the toxins that corrode us both personally and collectively. The album embodies the concept of art as alchemy, turning pain, betrayal, and societal decay into fuel for empowerment and rebirth.
🎛 Sonic Craftsmanship Written and performed by Bindrim herself, the album was produced and mixed by Matt McJunkins (A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Eagles of Death Metal, Poppy) and mastered by Ken “Hiwatt” Marshall. The result? A visceral, high-voltage soundscape pulsing with cinematic grandeur and industrial precision.

British industrial/EBM visionary ESA has unveiled Pound of Flesh, a three-part music film drawn from his latest album, Sounds for Your Happiness, released July 5th via Negative Gain Productions.
🎬 Watch “Pound of Flesh” here:YouTube 💽 Order Sounds for Your Happiness: Bandcamp
🔥 A Vision of Darkness and Redemption Filmed across Bangkok, Thailand, and Manchester, UK, Pound of Flesh marks ESA’s most ambitious visual journey yet. Starring Tan Toafa Maneepasopchock (Gotham, Oceans 10) and Panita Hutacharern, alongside a cast of Thai actors, the film weaves a story of torment, astral projection, and spiritual decay.
The narrative follows a soul plagued by inner demons who learns to leap between bodies through astral projection—only to discover that pain cannot be escaped, merely transferred. As madness spreads through each new vessel, the demons close in, leading to an explosive exorcism sequence that blurs the line between spiritual horror and industrial art.
🎞️ A Sonic and Visual Obsession Blacker describes Pound of Flesh as both “a powerful narrative experience” and “a love letter to Thailand,” a country that has deeply influenced his creative evolution. The film’s haunting visuals pair perfectly with ESA’s grinding, genre-defying soundtrack—a fusion of EBM, industrial, black metal, dark ambient, punk, techno, and power noise.
As ESA declares:
“I’m moving into the place between the walls you made for me.”
⚡ About the Album — Sounds for Your Happiness A ferocious blend of chaos and catharsis, Sounds for Your Happiness channels everything from Gesaffelstein to Godflesh, Ulver, and Pitchshifter, crafting a brutal electronic odyssey that’s both punishing and euphoric.

🖤 INDUSTRIAL IS DEAD. LONG LIVE INDUSTRIAL. 🖤 There’s a phrase I can’t get out of my skull—it clings like sweaty PVC in a crowded goth club: “Industrial is dead. Long live industrial.” No, it’s not poetic. It’s fact—as loud and clear as a distorted Suicide Commando snare. Let me explain.
🤖 What is Industrial in 2025? Once, “industrial” meant dissonant, confrontational noise made by weirdos in bondage pants and art school trauma. Think Throbbing Gristle. Early Wax Trax. Music that didn’t want your love—it wanted your fear. But now? The average “industrial playlist” on Spotify is an identity crisis: one part aggrotech, one part synthpop, and maybe a sprinkle of Nine Inch Nails for comfort. Some artists still bleed rebellion, but a lot of what’s called “industrial” today feels about as threatening as a pastel bat plushie from Etsy. So yeah: Industrial is dead. But the idea behind it isn’t.
🧱 The Cage of Labels The term “industrial” used to mean danger. Chaos. Revolt. Now it’s just another keyword. Say it today and people expect: A Harsh EBM clone of a 2007 Grendel B-side. Post-metal with layered screams and down-tuned guitars. Cyberpunk techno with overused AI samples. Or worse, nothing at all, because the scene stopped caring a decade ago. It’s become a nostalgia trap. A genre cage. And inside that cage, nothing grows.
🔥 Make Music That Hits, Not That Fits I don’t write music to save a genre’s ghost. I write songs to gut-punch your ears and brain simultaneously. Sometimes it’s dark electro. Sometimes synthpop. Sometimes sad goth rave balladry with a side of emotional damage. If it moves you, it doesn’t need a label. If the label limits you? Burn it. Too many artists stay shackled to the word “industrial” like it’s a badge of honor instead of a creative shackle. But maybe the most industrial thing we can do in 2025 is say: “FUCK the label.” Bring back the attitude that made industrial important in the first place—Rebellion. Risk. Rawness. Innovation.
🚀 So What Now? Stop treating “industrial” like a genre. Treat it like a mindset. ⚠️ If your track doesn’t fit a playlist, GOOD. You’re doing something right. ⚠️ If it pisses off a gatekeeper, EVEN BETTER. ⚠️ Make the music you want to hear, not the music people expect from you. Respect the past. Don’t live in it. You can love Skinny Puppy and still drop a beat that sounds like Giorgio Moroder crash-landed in a post-apocalyptic rave.
Industrial is dead. Long live industrial. Let’s stop preserving the corpse and start building something new from its bones. Let’s make noise they can’t categorize. Let’s make something they can’t ignore.
Originally discarded, “Callous” rises from the ashes—reimagined, reengineered, and emotionally raw.
⚡ A Second Chance at Life
Daedric’s newest single, “Callous,” was almost left behind on the cutting room floor. First written in just 20 minutes back in 2021, the track felt dated and disconnected from the band’s evolving vision. But instead of abandoning it, Daedric did something bold—they tore it apart and rebuilt it entirely.
The result? A modernized version of “Callous” that pulses with atmospheric electronics and powerful dual vocals, perfectly aligning with the rest of their dark, cinematic soundscapes.
💔 Cold on the Outside, Bleeding on the Inside
Lyrically, “Callous” plunges into themes of betrayal, emotional abandonment, and revenge. The title reflects the illusion of indifference—punishing someone while secretly harboring pain. The dual vocals represent an inner conflict, almost like arguing with your own reflection in the mirror.
It’s not just a song—it’s a confrontation with heartbreak itself.

Prepare to transcend reality—ZETRA return with new sounds, visions, and mysticism
Ethereal synth-rock duo ZETRA have unveiled a spellbinding music video for their recent single “So,” marking their first new release since their acclaimed self-titled debut album dropped in September 2024. Directed and edited by Billy Howard Price, the visual companion to “So” is as otherworldly as the music—dreamy, hypnotic, and charged with haunting beauty.
But that’s not all: ZETRA have also revealed two new cinematic B-sides—the sweeping “Shards of Power” and the celestial “A Queen Ascends.” These instrumental pieces further expand ZETRA’s shadowy mythos, conjuring images of fractured kingdoms and ascendant monarchs in the void between worlds.
“Can we believe the lie? The membrane shudders to the touch. Alive within the mind, a barrier between two worlds. Will there be peace beyond the veil? Or is chaos ever raging? It is so. ZETRA are reborn.”
ZETRA were recently awarded The Great Escape’s Steve Strange Award for 2025, celebrating their bold, genre-defying performance and honoring the legacy of the late, legendary music agent. Their impact continues to grow—this past weekend they graced the stages of Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park, and they now prepare for a performance at Download Festival and a special show supporting enigmatic new act PRESIDENT in London.

CHAMELEONS have today, May 29th, released their brand new single, ‘Saviours Are A Dangerous Thing,’ via Metropolis Records. The track is taken from their recently announced and long-awaited album, ‘Arctic Moon,’ which is now available for pre-order.
Vocalist/bassist Vox (Mark Burgess) explains the inspiration behind the new single: “I see too many echoes of the 1930s in what’s going on in the world, which I see as being extremely dangerous both for the country I’ve chosen to live in and the Western world in general.” He adds, “It was the last song to be completed for the album. I’m particularly pleased with the way it turned out, because it was our guitarist Stephen Rice who initially brought the rough idea to the table and we all then collaborated on it to produce the final song.”
‘Saviours Are A Dangerous Thing’ perfectly captures Chameleons’ innate flair for crafting exquisite guitar textures, merging them with Vox’s sharp grasp of melody and wordplay. The song delivers a dark message about the current political climate amidst its thoroughly engaging sound. Reinforcing this theme, the accompanying video splices live performance footage with kaleidoscopic images of war, its effects, and the surrounding propaganda, creating a compelling statement.
“The lyrics came to me quite quickly,” Vox explains. “They reflect what has been happening globally and how senior officials line up to kiss the rings of clowns who regard themselves as self-proclaimed kings rather than elected statesmen.”
‘Arctic Moon,’ set for release on September 12th on Metropolis Records, marks the first full-length album by Chameleons since 2001’s ‘Why Call It Anything?’ Vox concludes, “There is an obvious maturity to the songwriting on this record, and anyone familiar with our past work will hear that this is a positive step forward. While we’re proud of the band’s legacy, we really wanted to forge something fresh while retaining that profound and imaginative quality we’re known for. We think that we have managed to do that and deliver a very strong record!”
The band will continue to tour extensively around the album release, with dates in Spain and Portugal from June 6th-19th, followed by a set at the Forever Now festival in Milton Keynes on June 22nd. They will then return to the US for headlining shows and a dozen dates with The Psychedelic Furs commencing on June 26th. A further headlining tour of North American cities kicks off two weeks after the release of ‘Arctic Moon’, with mainland European dates in Germany and the Benelux scheduled from late October, ahead of a previously announced UK tour in November.
Long cited as a hugely influential act, inspiring bands like (The) Verve, Oasis, Interpol, The Killers, Editors, and White Lies, Chameleons are renowned for their transformative catalog and intense, emotionally charged live performances. Their legacy extends far beyond their four studio albums to date. Their widely acclaimed debut, ‘Script of the Bridge’ (1983), has been cited by many as a masterpiece ahead of its time, followed by ‘What Does Anything Mean? Basically!’ (1984), ‘Strange Times’ (1986), and ‘Why Call It Anything?’ (2001).
Their unique sound quickly captivated audiences with its mix of melancholic yet energetic and powerful tunes, hypnotic, ethereal riffs, and a potent, timeless lyrical style. They are considered one of the most influential guitar bands of the ‘80s and ‘90s, contributing substantially to the post-punk, shoegaze, and indie scenes.
2024 saw the release of two EPs that kicked off a new chapter for the band: ‘Where Are You?’, consisting of three new songs, and ‘Tomorrow Remember Yesterday,’ featuring five re-recorded archive tracks. ‘Arctic Moon’ sees them propelling forward musically while retaining the essence that originally made them iconic.
Steel City Kings MALEVOLENCE have unleashed a new single from their massively anticipated new album, Where Only The Truth Is Spoken, which is set to be released on the 20th June via MLVLTD in partnership with Nuclear Blast Records.
Compared to the punishing previous singles, ‘Trenches’ and ‘If It’s All The Same To You’ the brand new release ‘Salt The Wound’ shows a more emotional side of MALEVOLENCE, but that only makes its incredibly heavy chorus stand out even more.
Alex Taylor (vocals) commented: “’Salt The Wound’ is the product of us making a conscious decision to bridge the two faces of Malevolence. On one hand we have the heavy aggressive side, and on the other we have the slower melodic songs, so we wanted a song that could combine the two. The video was entirely shot in Sheffield and the surrounding areas. From the industrial depths of Sheffield, a 900-year-old ruined Abbey, to a perfect sunrise over some of the incredible hills of Derbyshire, there is some incredible scenery in the north of the UK which we sometimes take for granted, so this song felt like the perfect opportunity to show case some of that. From the moment I heard the guitar solo Josh had written for this song, I pictured him on a mountain top doing the solo, so we made it happen, Malev style!”

MALEVOLENCE have never waited for permission. From the underground to festival main stages, they’ve built their reputation on sheer force of will, crushing live shows, and an unshakable foundation of heavy riffs and harder work. Now, with their fourth studio album Where Only The Truth Is Spoken, Sheffield’s finest step into a new league.
Recorded in California at Dave Grohl’s legendary Studio 606, the album was tracked through the iconic Neve 8078 console, the same desk that captured game-changing records like Nirvana’s Nevermind, Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours, and Tom Petty’s Wildflowers. For a band that’s always pushed forward without compromise, it was the perfect setting to carve out a record that represents everything MALEVOLENCE stands for. The album marks a new level of songwriting precision without sacrificing the band’s trademark weight. Working alongside Grammy Award-winning producer Josh Wilbur (Lamb of God, Gojira, Trivium), the result is MALEVOLENCE at their most punishing, urgent, and anthemic.
Lyrically, Where Only The Truth Is Spoken reflects the principles that MALEVOLENCE have lived by since day one—honesty, loyalty, and integrity. These are not just themes woven into the album but values the band holds in their personal and professional lives. This record doesn’t deal in facades or empty gestures; it’s an unfiltered expression of the struggles, victories, and unshakable brotherhood that have carried them this far.

Deep Dive into the Universe of Malevolence: 🎧 Website – Facebook,
IGORRR is set to unleash their latest single, “Blastbeat Falafel,” taken from the band’s stunning fifth album, “Amen,” which will see its release on September 19th via Metal Blade Records. This new track features guest appearances by Trey Spruance (Mr. Bungle) and Timba Harris (Estradasphere, Secret Chiefs 3).
French multi-instrumentalist and producer Gautier Serre has been operating under the moniker IGORRR for two decades, yet each new record still resonates with a startling freshness and radical vitality. Mr. Bungle, Spruance’s main band, has long been a savvy comparison for IGORRR’s ethos of tightly controlled musical anarchy and gleeful boundary-smashing intensity, serving as another motivating force for the young Gautier. Like Mr. Bungle, IGORRR stubbornly repels the sort of generic pigeonholing that certain media and fans love to indulge in.
On “Blastbeat Falafel,” Gautier further elaborates, “The track is an unnatural and unorthodox connection between metal and traditional oriental music. A metalhead who truly loves oriental music tried to fit in with the codes of oriental music but didn’t succeed. He tried too hard, lost his identity, and ended up in a psychiatric hospital.”
Stay tuned for more info on “Amen” to be unveiled in the coming weeks.

More on IGORRR’s Amen:
Since signing to Metal Blade in 2017, the IGORRR name has expanded from one man’s pseudonym to become a full group identity, but Gautier remains the project’s guiding light and mastermind. Steadfastly unclassifiable, “Amen” blindsides its listeners with a new set of exploratory curveballs and continues to surprise and unnerve even the most attuned enthusiast. “This album is definitely darker than its predecessors, it has such a very weighty and solemn vibe that has never been reached before in IGORRR,” explains Gautier. “The fact that I recorded a real choir in a church helped this a lot, but above all there has been very long and meticulous work on the sound and the choice of instruments, and deep experimental research to create a unique sound design. Of course, because it’s an IGORRR album, there are some more colorful tracks, like ‘Blastbeat Falafel,’ ‘ADHD’ etc… They contrast very much with the ambient heaviness. I need tracks like these on an album, it helps to really get through it fully focused, like a shot of limoncello before the next meal.”
With an urge to continually take IGORRR’s multifaceted and challenging sound further forward with each release, Gautier has spent a lot of time cultivating multiple new modes and methods of working since 2020’s breathtaking, critically acclaimed opus Spirituality And Distortion, which even reached number twelve on the official German album chart. Gautier has always made clear that IGORRR is as much about the influence of Bach and Chopin as it is about Cannibal Corpse, Aphex Twin, and Meshuggah, but the source of specific stimuli gets harder to ascertain as the process is refined.
“It’s always difficult for me to know from where the inspiration comes,” he muses. “Music is an expression of life, and everything, even what seems the most insignificant thing, can be a source of inspiration. I would say there hasn’t been one event or one experience that has led me on a creative process, it’s more like a cumulation of everything. I love making music. My brain processes music all the time. You cannot imagine the amount of albums and concertos I create during my sleep. The challenge is more how to sort these ideas to keep the ones with the best potential, the ones that I won’t get bored of, the ones that I really Love, with a big letter L.”
Finland’s fiercest export LOST SOCIETY are back with a vengeance. The band returns with their brand-new single, ‘Dead People Scare Me (But The Living Make Me Sick),’ a high-octane anthem destined to ignite moshpits across festivals all summer long. With this explosive track, LOST SOCIETY kick off a bold new chapter in their career, diving headfirst into fresh sonic territory while retaining the raw energy and aggression fans have come to love. The single is the first taste of their upcoming full-length album, details of which will be revealed soon. Accompanying the release is a riotous party video that perfectly captures the song’s chaotic spirit and tongue-in-cheek attitude — a perfect visual complement to the track’s adrenaline-pumping riffs and biting lyrics.
Frontman Samy Elbanna comments: “When we were kids, we often were scared by zombies, the grim reaper and whatever concept of death we felt we knew anything about – but as we grew up and were introduced to the real world, we would find out that there is nothing more terrifying than a person with a heartbeat and power. This track dives into universal themes that most of us think about constantly: fitting in, and questioning why we should fit in? We are brought up in institutions molding us to prepare for adulthood, and even in the 21st century, differing from the mass still makes people look down on you – and this song is an anthem for the downtrodden. No matter how ”mainstream” metal music is, it’s always marginal, and ”being touched by the devil” is a metaphor for all of the people out there who feel like they are doing something that differs from the mass, and they like it.”

Feast upon the gothic sludge night stalker, BLOOD VULTURE, created by Jordan Olds (2 Minutes To Late Night), as they unveil their 2nd single, “Grey Mourning” (Featuring Jade Puget of AFI), from the upcoming debut album, Die Close, set to be unleashed on June 27th via Pure Noise Records.
Commenting on the song, Olds states: “When I was in middle school, AFI was my gateway to punk, hardcore, and goth. Jade Puget specifically was probably the biggest influence on my guitar playing and songwriting in that very formative time in my life. He’s such a melodic and unique player, and “Grey Mourning” is just a barrage of chromatic death metal riffs, so I thought it would be a really fun juxtaposition to set him loose in that kind of space and see what he came up with. I was honored that he agreed to do it, and his solo is so cool and unpredictable. It was exactly what I wanted. In my freshman year of highschool, I snagged a black Les Paul studio because I saw him playing one in the Leaving Song Pt. II video and that’s actually the same guitar that I used to mimic his solo for the video. So this whole thing has been a wild full circle moment for me. Oh yeah, and the song is about vampires.”
The impending debut, Die Close, lures listeners in with a mesmerizing melding of gothic romanticism, lush metallic vibes and brutal reckoning. The record features luminary guests Jade Puget (AFI), Kristin Hayter (Lingua Ignota) and Brian Fair (Shadows Fall).
BLOOD VULTURE will perform in Brooklyn, NY on June 1st at The Meadows with Pallbearer and Cinder Well.
About BLOOD VULTURE:
This is the story of a vampire known as “The Blood Vulture.” A once-insatiable bloodthirsty abomination of a creature, he is now a recluse long locked away as he grapples with what it means to live forever in a world of impermanence. His tales of regret and grief and terror will be told from hereon through songs that meld the emotive vocal stylings of grunge’s golden era with death metal, goth rock, and doom metal.
For nearly three decades, US/French Canadian melodic death metal powerhouse KATAKLYSM has delivered unrelenting waves of powerful sound. Today, the band offers fans a brand new track entitled, ‘The Rabbit Hole’.
With brutal honesty and relentless force, it rips through the illusion of control and dares listeners to wake up, fight back, and resist. A soundtrack for the disillusioned—unapologetic and unrelenting. The song features Clemens Wijers (CARACH ANGREN) who curated the track’s ambient sound effects and synth section.
KATAKLYSM’S Maurizio Iacono states, “‘The Rabbit hole’ is the bands first stand alone single since the bands classic ‘Iron will’ track. As the world spins out of control and people search for purpose and truth, we felt questioning these things is something important to do, theres a lot of noise and lots of distortion these days, but always trust your gut and what is right vs what is forced fed, so why not put these thoughts to music, so while we wait for the next record, we decided to drop this heavy hitter, spread it an enjoy!”
The single was recorded earlier this year at JFD Studios in Dallas, TX and Studio City, CA as well as The Cabin in Orlando, FL and Silver Black Studio, Laval, QC, Canada. ‘The Rabbit Hole’ was produced, mixed, and mastered by the band’s very own J-F Dagenais.

The Northern Territories celebrate today’s release of their new album, “A Star in Orbit Still,” with a new video single cover of Lana Del Rey’s “Say Yes to Heaven.” This acclaimed album, their fourth full-length, has already been hailed as ‘The Album of the Month’ in the renowned German magazine Orkus!
After a record-breaking hiatus of 25 years, THE NORTHERN TERRITORIES are back for good. The Swedish melancholic synth duo has used the time well to hone their musical prowess and to think hard about how they wanted their unique sound to come across in the present. As a result of this intense thought process, the stunning album “A Star in Orbit Still” combines everything that made the band great and generated a dedicated and loyal following that eagerly awaited their return during all those years with a contemporary sound design.
Channeling their trademark melancholy and Nordic knack for captivating melodies, THE NORTHERN TERRITORIES did not even shy away from covering LANA DEL REY’s iconic track ‘Say Yes to Heaven’ and to make it theirs. When the Swedish duo disbanded after the release of their third full-length “Satellite People” in 1999, they left behind many a broken heart in the electronic music scene that was mourning the loss of a one of a kind band with a unique sonic appearance. THE NORTHERN TERRITORIES’ combination of outstanding songwriting with a strong melancholic Nordic tint as well as semi-acoustic, semi-electronic instrumentation created their very own version of a dreampop soundscape. With “A Star in Orbit Still’, THE NORTHERN TERRITORIES are not just back on track as if nothing happened in the years of their absence, but the Swedes return on top of their game and fully ready to climb new peaks!
THE NORTHERN TERRITORIES comment: “The video for our cover of Lana Del Rey’s ‘Say Yes to Heaven’ consists of footage that we have lifted from our first ever video clip “Midnight Ambulance”, which we shot in Stockholm during the summer of 1994,” vocalist and multi-instrumentalist John Alexander Ericson explains on behalf of the duo. “We have not released an album in 25 long years, so it made sense to us to include these images as a nod to our past and as a reminder to ourselves and to others about how it all started.”
When the Swedish duo disbanded after the release of their third full-length “Satellite People” in 1999, they left behind many broken hearts. Now, after a record-breaking hiatus of 25 years, THE NORTHERN TERRITORIES are back! “A Star in Orbit Still” was released today by Dependent Records of Germany and is available in a 48-page artbook 2 CD edition along with all streaming and digital platforms.
Room 23 Music has just unleashed the latest sonic transgression from the French sound provocateur known as Autist: “Les Fleurs du Mal.” This daring EP, released on the Spirit of Progress imprint, is an uncompromising exploration of the bleak, the beautiful, and the brutally honest corners of the human (and perhaps neurodivergent) experience. Prepare for a journey into soundscapes that challenge, confront, and ultimately captivate.
Autist throws down the gauntlet with “Chaotic Harmony,” the EP’s opening salvo. This track unfolds with a slow-burning intensity, a relentless rhythmic noise mechanic that is abrasive, obsessive, and physically demanding. It’s a sonic confrontation with inner architecture, channeling themes of neurodiversity through sheer repetition and building tension, forcing a stark examination of the self.
The EP then takes a turn inward with “You Lied to Me,” a ghostly soundscape scarred by acidic pulses and echoing voids. The space created here is not one of comfort or solace, but rather a stark arena for dissection, inviting listeners to confront uncomfortable truths and raw emotions laid bare.
Finally, the title track, “Les Fleurs du Mal,” serves as a potent fusion of the EP’s preceding extremes. It inhabits a grey zone where pain and clarity intersect, where corrosive sonic textures meet haunting rhythmic echoes in the desolate space between. This track encapsulates the EP’s overarching theme of finding a strange and unsettling beauty within the darker aspects of existence.
For those with a penchant for sonic provocation and a willingness to explore the fringes of electronic sound, Autist’s “Les Fleurs du Mal” on Room 23 Music’s Spirit of Progress is an essential listen. Dive into this uncompromising sonic landscape and discover the bleak beauty within.

“To somewhat poetically reflect on this extraordinary yet congruous collaboration I can say it feels almost as if this newborn and destined-to-be trinity has been designed by the God Hand itself. This masterpiece of modern metal masterfully combines melodic death metal with Celtic traditions. Eluveitie will hit the road again with Arch Enemy, Amorphis & Gatecreeper in October 2025. All dates are listed below. 📅
Eluveitie commented: “And along comes – on this special day – our brand new single and video clip off ANV: TARANOÍAS! It’s the opening track of the album and pretty much wrapping up the entire essence on which the album is based in one single song! It’s quite a hard and dark track and surely one of these roller-coaster-feeling songs, like “Rebirth” or “Aidus”, for instance. What we’ve tried when writing this track is to create a song that in itself becomes some kind of a dark entity that comes upon you with the first note of it! Enjoy the ride!”

Originating from the Swiss Alps and deeply rooted in Celtic history, mythology, and spirituality, the band has become a cornerstone of the modern metal scene. Their debut, Vên (2004), set the stage for a unique blend of melodic death metal and traditional folk. Subsequent albums like Slania, Everything Remains (As It Never Was), Helvetios, and Origins solidified their reputation. The acoustic albums Evocation I – The Arcane Dominion and Evocation II – Pantheon showcased their versatility.
In 2022, ELUVEITIE released the singles ‘Aidus’ and ‘Exile of the Gods,’ marking a new chapter in their musical journey and thematical cycle pursuing the lyrical concept opened by their last studio album Ategnatos.
