German electronic and industrial rock pioneers KMFDM have officially postponed their nearly sold-out European tour, originally scheduled for February and March 2026, due to a severe illness requiring immediate medical intervention and ongoing therapy.
Tour Update: Health Comes First
The tour was set to support the band’s forthcoming 24th studio album, ENEMY, but circumstances beyond their control have brought plans to a temporary halt.
“We are so very sorry. We were looking forward to do this tour, but we will make up for it,” states KMFDM founder Sascha ‘Käpt’n K’ Konietzko. “We appreciate your love and support! Long live the ULTRA HEAVY BEAT,” adds co-vocalist Lucia Cifarelli.

Legacy of the Ultra Heavy Beat
Founded in Hamburg in 1984 by Sascha Konietzko, KMFDM carved a singular path through industrial rock—combining confrontational politics, abrasive electronics, and undeniable hooks. Early releases in Germany led to U.S. success through Wax Trax! Records, with the 1990s cementing their legacy via hits like “Juke Joint Jezebel” and soundtrack placements in Bad Boys and Mortal Kombat.
Bands such as Rammstein and Korn cut their teeth opening on KMFDM tours. After a brief hiatus in 1999, the band re-emerged on Metropolis Records with Lucia Cifarelli, continuing a relentless cycle of releases and tours. Their most recent album, LET GO (2024), capped a 40-year legacy, followed by a remixed and remastered edition of HAU RUCK in 2025.

Louisville natives GATES TO HELL are back with a new digital single, “Disfigured.” The track is a brutally heavy, all-killer-no-filler song—essentially one long, punishing breakdown. The single is a B-side from the band’s recent album, Death Comes to All, which was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Randy LeBoeuf.
The band comments that they wrote the track a few years ago and decided to release it now to coincide with their upcoming tour with Dying Fetus. They recall playing it on a 2023 tour where it got the crowd moving every night, and they’re excited to finally have it out for the world to hear.
Starting on September 20th, GATES TO HELL will embark on a 24-day trek that includes performances at the New England Metal & Hardcore Fest and Louder Than Life. They will also join headliners Dying Fetus on their ‘Into The Cesspool’ US/Canadian 2025 tour with Mugshot. Following the tour, the band will wrap up the year with a show in Albany, New York, before kicking off a run in Europe with Sanguisugabogg, Fulci, and Celestial Sanctuary in the new year.

Prolific metal band Fit For An Autopsy has released an unrelenting new standalone single, ‘It Comes For You’. The track is an aggressive, full-throttle journey that masterfully blends the band’s older sound with the high-caliber production and songwriting that’s become their trademark.
‘It Comes For You’ was recorded at Graphic Nature Audio in Kinnelon, NJ, with the band’s own Will Putney handling production, mixing, and mastering. The cover art was created by Jorden Haley.
The band will join Killswitch Engage on their UK and European tour, kicking off on September 29th. The 25-date trek will make stops in London and Berlin before wrapping up in Helsinki on December 3rd. Decapitated will join them for the full tour, with Hatebreed on the first leg and Employed to Serve on the second.
Fit For An Autopsy also just announced their headlining dates in Australia. The 7-date run will feature support from Bodysnatcher, Volatile Ways, and Pain Body. Tickets go on sale on September 11th.
King810 is thrilled to announce the release of their latest track, ‘I DON’T MIND,’ from K7. The new single, a grunge-inspired anthem, is now available with both audio and video on all streaming platforms. This marks the latest release from the band, inviting fans to dive in and share their thoughts.

Technical death metal architects COGNITIVE have unveiled their outstanding cover of the Slipknot classic, “People = Shit.” The standalone single arrives in advance of the band’s upcoming US tour, supporting death metal legends NILE. The Underground Awaits Tour 2025 is set to begin this Friday, September 12th in Raleigh, North Carolina, and will run through October 11th in Indianapolis, Indiana. Additional support will be provided by Cryptopsy and labelmates, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life.
In a collective statement, COGNITIVE commented on the new release: “We have been hard at work writing our next album and prepping for tour, but decided to spend some time having fun and recorded a cover of ‘People = Shit’ by the almighty Slipknot! We wanted to have fun with something that wasn’t exactly death metal, but still in the extreme realm! The world is an awful place, and humanity doesn’t make it any better, so to us the Slipknot math and song title added up correctly! We hope you enjoy and see you on the road!”
COGNITIVE will be touring in support of their most recent full-length album, Abhorrence, released last spring via Metal Blade Records. The record finds the New Jersey-based quintet at their brutal best. Abhorrence carries on band tradition with its maniacal fusion of relentless riffs and devastating lyrics, making for a raging, draining, and ultimately fulfilling experience.
Mach FoX will release the new 7-song album Chaos of Man in October 2025 on Phage Tapes. The album will be available on cassette and digital.
Originally intended for the third Zwaremachine album, these songs were reworked after the passing of drummer Dein Offizier in August 2023. The project was then released under the Mach FoX name, as the songs no longer fit the current Zwaremachine live set. The album features the classic Zwaremachine trio of Mach FoX, bassist Dbot, and the late Dein Offizier on surdo drum.
The single “Biteback” from the album was released on Friday, September 5th.
Chaos of Man is for fans of industrial rock and Wax Trax.
Zwaremachine is currently on “The Machine Comes Alive Tour,” which includes both European and U.S. dates. This tour is notable as it features the new lineup following the passing of drummer Dein Offizier.

The spark that ignited Dead Posey was a shared love for rock’s dark heart. Danyell, then immersed in acting and modeling, found her calling one night in Tony’s studio. Already a seasoned musician with Eve 6 and a producer in his own right, Tony witnessed Danyell’s raw talent as she sang Nirvana’s “Come As You Are.” “A newfound passion was unlocked in me,” she recalls, “I knew from that moment in my bones that this is what I was meant to do in life.” They hit the ground running, writing songs that would soon define their unique sound.
Their early “Freak Show EP” era, what they now call Dead Posey 1.0, was a significant milestone, landing them publishing and record deals, along with crucial sync placements. At the time, they believed they had found their sound—a bluesy, garage-rock feel. However, the road ahead held more evolution. As they played live more often, their sound matured, growing harder and more aggressive, embracing darker, synthier rock with heavy guitars. This transformation led to Dead Posey 2.0, where they truly found their stride, blending their favorite influences into a cohesive, powerful force. Playing new songs live before release became a vital part of this evolution, injecting a new level of energy into their recordings.
Early tracks like “Don’t Stop the Devil” became unexpected launching pads, propelling their music into TV and film. These placements were a crucial early boost, providing funding for gear, tours, and merch. “It’s funny looking back, though,” Danyell muses, “our sound has changed so much since then, and we thought that time was the peak. But in reality, it was just the beginning.” This early success taught them a valuable lesson: constant growth and adaptation are essential to building a solid, sustainable foundation in an ever-changing industry.
Their sound is a potent cocktail of influences, a blend of Marilyn Manson, Garbage, Hole, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, and Depeche Mode. They gravitate toward anything with dark energy, industrial textures, raw emotion, classic melodies, and a guitar thrust. It’s an intuitive process, a musical blender where everything goes in, and something uniquely Dead Posey emerges. The Freak Show EP, their debut, remains a special marker of their journey, an “innocent but still polished” snapshot of their early days, even as they’ve creatively moved far beyond it.
Breaking into the competitive music industry as a DIY band presented immense challenges, and they’re still pushing boundaries a decade later. They’ve learned not to rely on fickle industry support, choosing instead to focus on what they can control: creating music they’re passionate about and fostering genuine connections with fans through social media and live shows. Their mantra: “Fluff doesn’t create a sustainable career; it’s the hard work you put in every day when no one’s watching that truly makes a difference.” Looking back, their advice to their younger selves would be blunt: “Buckle up – this journey is a long, winding road! The blood, sweat, and tears it will take are beyond imagination so be ready.” They’ve been knocked down countless times, but their unwavering love for creating music, performing live, and connecting with their fans always pulls them back up.
A palpable fire ignites Dead Posey’s latest releases. Their current sound is fueled by rebellion, survival, and self-liberation, a visceral response to the chaos of the world. They’re relentlessly pushing through darkness—mentally, emotionally, and sonically—emerging stronger with every note. While their sound has evolved, their core songwriting and production process remains collaborative. Danyell brings thematic and lyrical vision, while Tony, a versatile musician, masterfully pulls everything into a cohesive, impactful whole. A significant recent shift involves road-testing new songs live before finalizing them, allowing them to gauge audience connection and infuse recordings with live energy.

This past year, they’ve embraced resilience, learning that growth flourishes in discomfort and uncertainty, leading to greater confidence and personal evolution. Their proudest moments of 2024 include releasing their debut album, Are You In A Cult?, headlining shows in the UK, and playing for their biggest crowd yet at Spain’s Rockland festival.

With their debut full-length album, Are You In A Cult?, recently released, Dead Posey is taking time to let it resonate, focusing on touring and bringing their sonic world to as many fans as possible. While always writing, they’re not rushing into another album, instead considering collabs or special versions of existing songs for later in the year. Their dream collaborations span legends like Lady Gaga, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Depeche Mode, or Garbage, recognizing these artists’ profound influence on Dead Posey’s DNA, but they’re equally open to teaming up with rising acts who share their vibe.

Most bands take a few albums to find their feet, but PSYCROPTIC’s first two releases were underground classics: The Isle Of Disenchantment (2001, self-released) and The Scepter Of The Ancients (2003, Unique Leader). Vocalist Matthew Chalk and bassist Cameron Grant were part of the first squad who joined the Haleys on their quest for perfection. A relentless touring schedule emerged in Australia, including legendary appearances at Canberra’s Metal For The Brain festival. Normally this would be the high point for an Australian metal band. Two albums out, successful shows, who could ask for more?
Tasmania couldn’t contain them, and as it turned out, neither could Australia. Their first overseas tour was Europe in 2004. Matthew was replaced on vocals by Jason Peppiatt, and PSYCROPTIC went on to record Symbols Of Failure (2006, Neurotic). The band expanded their sound with Ob (Servant) (2008, Nuclear Blast), bringing in ambience and atmosphere, then The Inherited Repression (2012, Nuclear Blast) introduced the powerful neck-cracking grooves that would mark their sound going forward.
It also introduced them to touring the US with their first happening in 2010. This pushed their lust for the road to new levels, smashing audiences and stupefying musicians around the planet. They’re unique among death metal bands in that it’s almost pointless to try and list the festivals and countries they’ve visited, let alone the bands they’ve played with. It can be condensed to “everyone, everywhere.” Official estimates are at forty countries.
PSYCROPTIC solidified their American relationship by signing to Prosthetic Records in 2014, replacing Cameron on bass with US legend Todd Stern in 2015, then releasing their self-titled album in the same year. At this point something indefinable clicked, and the band unleashed As The Kingdom Drowns (2018), a clear step up from their previous work. Divine Council (2022) proved that this wasn’t a new level for the band – it’s a new normal. Origin vocalist Jason Keyser, long considered a part of PSYCROPTIC’s extended family, contributed vocals to Divine Council as well as the upcoming new material. Keyser remains a session and live vocalist on select tours.
Signing to the legendary Metal Blade Records for their forthcoming full-length album – there is no slowing down. PSYCROPTIC are no longer the local Australian band made good: they are a global powerhouse with a footprint the size of the world, nothing left to prove, and an endless commitment to finding ways to rock you as hard as technically possible.
WHITECHAPEL is set to return to US stages this Fall on the Rituals Of Hate headlining tour. This extensive journey will hit over two dozen cities from November 12th through December 14th, with the band performing their critically acclaimed new full-length, Hymns In Dissonance, in its devastating entirety, alongside some old favorites. Support will be provided by Bodysnatcher, Angelmaker, and Disembodied Tyrant.
The band comments, “After the overwhelming responses from the Hymns In Dissonance release, we decided it would be great to close out the year by giving this album to the fans live front to back. Formed in Portland in 2012 (originally as Contempt), DROUTH has been stirring the local scene with their powerful concoction of black metal, death metal, doom, and crust. Following their 2014 EP “Skinwalker,” 2015’s “Vast, Loathsome” EP, and the albums “Knives, Labyrinths, Mirrors” (2017) and “Excerpts From a Dread Liturgy” (2020), “The Teeth of Time” marks their most crushing offering yet. Death metal legends CANNIBAL CORPSE have announced a headlining North American tour set to take place this Fall! The brutal journey kicks off on September 15th in Nashville, Tennessee, and will hit over two dozen cities before concluding on October 22nd in Charlotte, North Carolina. Joining them as support will be the thrash masters MUNICIPAL WASTE and the death metal force FULCI. This tour follows their recent run across North America with Meshuggah.
