So stoked to be getting back on the road in America/Canada with 4 masters of soul-crushing heaviness and an absolutely earth-shattering bill. Fear Factory has long been our brothers-in-arms, pioneers, and innovators of a sound that had yet to exist. Orbit Culture are the fast-rising Swedish modern metal maniacs bringing their unique spin to the world, and Gates To Hell absolutely blew my mind at Milwaukee Metalfest with their sheer savage brutality. North America, we’re ready to crush skulls, crush beers, and crush everything in our path!”
Dino Cazares of FEAR FACTORY commented, “We are honored to be touring with the mighty Machine Head. We came up in the metal scene together, and both bands have left their mark on modern metal. Plus, Robb has been a good friend of mine for close to 30 years. We are excited for the metal fans to see this amazing package, and we can’t wait to get out there. Let’s go!”
ORBIT CULTURE added, “It is such an honor for us to be going on tour with Machine Head and Fear Factory across North America. We look forward to bringing our brand of metal to you all. Beware of the antlers North America!”

Out of all the tours we’ve had the opportunity to be a part of over the past year, this is definitely the one we’ve been most excited for. Very excited to share the stage with Machine Head, Fear Factory, and Orbit Culture.”

About Metal Blade Records: Founded on Brian Slagel’s relentless drive to discover great bands and share their music with as many people as possible, Metal Blade has been bringing waves of powerful, innovative, and genre-defining music to the metal masses since 1982. The label boasts a diverse and stunning catalog, has weathered challenges faced by independent labels, and celebrated its successful four-decade existence in an era of declining record sales.
Metal Blade Records launched legendary bands like Metallica, Slayer, Armored Saint, Fates Warning, GWAR, Cannibal Corpse, Amon Amarth, Whitechapel, The Black Dahlia Murder, Cattle Decapitation, and many more, shaping the culture of hard rock, metal, and extreme music for over forty years. Brian Slagel, once a record store clerk, reserved a spot for a young Lars Ulrich on his Metal Massacre compilation series, and Metal Blade has since grown from humble beginnings in Los Angeles into an international powerhouse, selling millions of albums while fiercely maintaining its independence. In 2017, Slayer’s Kerry King inducted the label into the Hall of Heavy Metal History.
Slagel’s book “For the Sake of Heaviness: The History of Metal Blade Records” was released the same year.
Deep Dive into the universe of Metal Blade Records:
Amidst their festival season, symphonic metal titans EPICA make a powerful return with another live single from their upcoming digital EP, Live At The AFAS Live. Originally the title track of their second studio album, and one of EPICA’s heaviest tracks, ‘Consign To Oblivion’ has not only become a real classic but also the ultimate final song of most EPICA shows, always starting with an obligatory wall of death right after the intro.
Mark Jansen comments, “Over the years ‘Consign to Oblivion’ became our favorite track to conclude our shows with. Every time we tried another track, it never had the same impact as Consign to Oblivion. I’m happy everyone can now witness the live version that we played in Amsterdam to a fantastic home-country-crowd!”

Norwegian death metallers, CADAVER, have finally released their long-awaited sixth studio album, “The Age Of The Offended,” via Nuclear Blast Records. The UK’s heavy metal machine SYLOSIS unveils the title track of their brand-new album, ‘A Sign Of Things To Come’. The new song speaks from Josh Middleton’s position as a new father and his fears of the world that his children will one day inherit.
Josh comments “‘A Sign Of Things To Come’ is a declaration of dismay towards the modern world. It’s about the anxiety of what the future holds and the feeling of division in a society where everyone is pitted against each other. This was the last song to be written for the album. It quickly became apparent that this was going to be one of the biggest, most anthemic songs on the record.”
Produced by Josh Middleton, alongside production legend, Scott Atkins, A Sign Of Things To Come has challenged SYLOSIS into brand-new territory.
“This is the first time I’ve allowed myself to be produced; taking on some brutal criticism and pushing myself to deliver the best vocal performance of my career. I’m a big fan of progressive and long albums, but I was ruthless on myself during the whole process. I think that shows in the final result on the record!” Josh states.

About the Band: Formed in 2005 in Charlotte, North Carolina, WRETCHED made their mark with their signing to Victory Records in 2008. Since then, they have released four full-length studio albums: “The Exodus of Autonomy” (2009), “Beyond The Gate” (2010), “Son of Perdition” (2012), and “Cannibal” (2014). Canadian kings of technical death metal, CRYPTOPSY, have made a resounding announcement that has sent shockwaves through the metal community. After over a decade of anticipation, they are set to release their highly awaited full-length album, titled “As Gomorrah Burns,” on September 8th, courtesy of Nuclear Blast Records. The groundbreaking quartet is back with a vengeance, showcasing their renewed vigor and unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of extreme music.
“As Gomorrah Burns” promises to be one of CRYPTOPSY’s most tumultuous and ambitious albums yet, continuing their tradition of sonic exploration and complex songwriting. Vocalist Matt McGachy expressed his excitement about the upcoming release, describing it as a meticulous endeavor that perfectly blends the old-school CRYPTOPSY sound with modern twists. The album features infectious grooves and a breath of fresh air, allowing the riffs to shine in ways that haven’t been seen in their recent releases. McGachy is thrilled about this new era for CRYPTOPSY, and fans can expect a captivating musical journey that stays true to the band’s roots while embracing their evolution.
To give fans a taste of what’s to come, CRYPTOPSY has unleashed the first single, “In Abeyance,” along with an accompanying music video directed by Chris Kells (The Agonist, Beneath The Massacre). McGachy describes the single as a conceptually intense exploration of feeling isolated in a new environment, searching for a sense of belonging while mourning a previous life. Musically, “In Abeyance” is a forceful slap in the face, appearing deceptively straightforward but revealing layers of intricate complexity upon closer inspection.
Fans can pre-order “As Gomorrah Burns” now and stream “In Abeyance” to get a taste of the fury that awaits them. The album promises to be a relentless onslaught of extreme metal, featuring tracks like “Lascivious Undivine,” “Flayed The Swine,” and “Praise The Filth.” The anticipation surrounding the release is at an all-time high, with listeners eagerly awaiting the album’s arrival.
Looking back at CRYPTOPSY’s storied career, it’s evident that they have continually pushed the boundaries of death metal. Formed in 1992, the band quickly became known for their uncompromising attack and unparalleled musicality. Their debut album, “Blasphemy Made Flesh,” shocked the metal world, and subsequent releases like “None So Vile” and “Once Was Not” solidified their status as apex predators in the genre. They have embarked on high-profile tours, performing over 1,000 shows across 47 countries.
“As Gomorrah Burns” not only serves as a follow-up to their previous EPs, “The Book of Suffering – Tome I” and “The Book of Suffering – Tome II,” but also represents a new era for the band. Crafted over two years during the pandemic, the album is the result of painstaking dedication and an arduous songwriting process. The initial sessions took place in a cabin in the haunting forests of Quebec, providing an eerie backdrop for the creation of this beastly album. Guitarist and producer Christian Donaldson, together with his bandmates Matt McGachy, Flo Mounier, and Olivier “Oli” Pinard, channeled their collective energies to create eight slabs of unadulterated barbarity. The production of the album was helmed by Donaldson, ensuring that CRYPTOPSY’s vision was executed flawlessly.

Conceptually, “As Gomorrah Burns” delves into the collision of the Biblical story of Sodom and Gomorrah with the modern-day Internet. McGachy’s vision was to explore how the internet serves as both a birthplace of invention and a cesspool of exploitation. The album touches upon real-life incidents of online stalking, cults, misinformation, isolation, and intimidation, amplifying their impact through devious ornamentation. The striking cover art, created by Italian artist Paolo Girardi, perfectly complements the album’s old-world lyrical themes, creating a visual representation of the darkness that lies within.
“As Gomorrah Burns” is an aggressive and thought-provoking masterpiece that pierces through the mundane and relentlessly delivers uncompromising death metal. The album captures the essence of what our world needs—a ferocious and unyielding musical force that only CRYPTOPSY can provide. McGachy emphatically declares that CRYPTOPSY is not merely a legacy band but a modern and relevant force in extreme music. With “As Gomorrah Burns,” CRYPTOPSY invites listeners to embark on a thrilling journey that is as relevant today as it was 30 years ago.
In addition to the upcoming album, CRYPTOPSY has tantalized fans with news of an impending fall headlining “Carnival Of Death” tour across North America. The tour dates will be announced soon, and it is sure to be a monumental event for fans of extreme music. Cryptopsy’s live performances are renowned for their energy and intensity, leaving audiences breathless and craving more. This tour will undoubtedly be an unmissable experience for metal enthusiasts.

Today, the band has shared the video for “You’ll Never Learn” that was filmed at Bloodstock 2022 and Download Fest 2023 by Loki Films. Watch it here: You’ll Never Learn.
“You’ll Never Learn” is about the people you keep around in your life that continue to make the same mistakes without making a change. Chances and patience run out, people will only stick by you for so long. Keep those true to you close, and drop that dead weight.”We shot this video across our two performances at the UK festivals Bloodstock and Download, and Loki Films managed to capture the utter chaos that ensued. Crack open a tinnie, roll a joint, bang your head or do whatever you do and enjoy the carnage of ‘YOU’LL NEVER LEARN.'” Along with our brand new video, we are supremely buzzing to announce that we will be washing Europe and the UK in oceans of blood with our dear friends Lorna Shore, Rivers Of Nihil, and Distant this autumn! We can’t wait to get back out on the road and do what we do best, laying waste to every city that we touch! -Ingested

ABOUT INGESTED: Ingested are the flagbearers of modern UK death metal. They have been churning out bilious anti-anthems for more than a decade-and-a-half, dropping a string of releases that have helped shape the genre. They return with Ashes Lie Still, their most dynamic, inventive, and daring release to date, holding nothing back. The band describes it as “a modern essential. It still has the core Ingested elements of groovy slamming riffs, quick drumming, and guttural vocals but there’s also atmosphere, ethereal moments, and some raw old school aggression.” Over the course of 10 tracks, Ingested hack, slash, and steamroll through everything in their path, and Ashes Lie Still easily stands as the highpoint of an already impressive career. Founded in 2006 in Manchester, England, Ingested have since toured extensively with Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder, Nile, Carnifex, and Revocation, and have been seen on European festival stages including Summer Breeze Open Air. Slimmed down to a three-piece, the band feels it is in the best place it ever has been, enabling the members to work at the top of their game.
Ashes Lie Still was mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson. It was co-produced by the band and previous collaborator Nico Beninato, with drummer Lyn Jeffs living close to Beninato’s studio in Mallorca and recording his drums there, while Sean Hynes recorded his guitars at home in the UK with the producer assisting remotely. Vocal tracking was interrupted by Jason Evans falling seriously ill when finally making it to Mallorca and was ultimately tracked back in Manchester. Bass was again supplied by Dominic Grimard (Ion Dissonance/The Last Felony).
Ingested succinctly encapsulate their existence, saying, “We’ve always been the underdogs, always fighting for scraps. Well, it’s time to get out of the fucking way, because now it’s our turn to eat at the table.”
You’ve. Been. Warned.

Swedish modern metal heroes AMARANTHE deliver the soundtrack for a fiery festival summer season with the release of their new single ‘Damnation Flame’ !
With its symphonic touch and uplifting chorus, the band once again showcases their outstanding songwriting skills while maintaining their image as Swedn’s most exciting metal export.
Olof Mörck states about the new song:
“‘Damnation Flame’ breaks new ground for us in many ways, and in all the best ways possible. This is the very first AMARANTHE song to feature symphonic elements, something we’ve wanted to do for a long time, and the darkened vampiric theme melds together perfectly with our take on modern melodic metal! AMARANTHE has always been about being boundless and constantly reinventing ourselves, and by now you know to expect the unexpected. This is 100% pure passion poured into music, as you will no doubt experience yourself from the very first second – enjoy ‘Damnation Flame’, with the promise of much more to come SOON!”
‘Damnation Flame’ doesn’t only mark the start of some hot live shows this summer but also introduces AMARANTHE’s new vocalist Mikael Sehlin to their internationally growing fanbase. Olof continues: “After a practically global search, and several amazing guest growlers to help us out on shows and tours we finally found just the right person for the job, in our very own Swedish capital of Stockholm!
Mikael Sehlin has EVERYTHING it takes to join the AMARANTHE line up, and his versatility and musicality completes and underscores our vision for our new album and the general future for AMARANTHE perfectly. From the deepest guttural grunts to soaring screams Mikael is growling perfection incarnate, so please give a roaring welcome to the new star upon the AMARANTHE firmament!”
Mikael Sehlin himself adds: Hello everyone, Mike here! I am very thrilled to tell you I will fill the slot as the new Amaranthe growler and I can’t wait to meet you guys out there! I hope you like the upcoming tracks to which I’ve had the honor recording growls to. Take care and see you soon!”
The newest member of the AMARANTHE family can be seen in the music video for ‘Damnation Flame’, the band’s newest cinematic masterpiece. Hold your breath and follow the creatures of the night to their vampiric cave to witness the initiation of their latest victim…uhm… member.
