Los Angeles’ purveyors of industrial terror DAWN OF ASHES return with a new high-pressure dose of mechanized aggression: Hypertensive Crisis. This latest sonic assault marks a new chapter in the band’s legacy of apocalyptic audio warfare—where harsh electronics, blackened metal, and dystopian rage collide under a biohazard moon.
Following the wake of 2022’s Scars of the Broken and 2023’s experimental deep cuts, Hypertensive Crisis finds Kristof Bathory and crew doubling down on chaotic BPMs, clinical distortion, and lyrical themes that bleed paranoia, medical horror, and psychic overload. Think surgical steel sharpened in a rave dungeon—frenzied, hypnotic, and violently cathartic.
⚠️ Sound Like Your Heart’s Exploding? Good.
From cyber-hospital aesthetics to BPMs that mimic cardiac arrest, Hypertensive Crisis is the sound of systems failing—on a personal, societal, and biological level. Fans of Psyclon Nine, Suicide Commando, and the raw early days of DOA will feel the pulse… or the lack of one.
The tracklisting and visuals for the release remain under wraps, but if the teaser campaign is any indication, this era will be DOA’s most volatile yet.
The veil is thinning. The twilight beasts are stirring. Swedish duo V▲LH▲LL returns from the shadows with their long-awaited full-length album Skymningsdjur, arriving April 4, 2025 via Artoffact Records.
An evolutionary leap into sonic darkness, Skymningsdjur is the band’s first full-length release since 2021’s NEVERSLEEP—a cult classic in the witch house underground. This new offering plunges even deeper into spectral atmospheres, ritual electronics, and minimalist dread, fusing elements of neofolk, grave wave, and ritualistic witch house into a singular storm of apocalyptic beauty.
📦 Media and press received early access via Haulix on March 10. Reviews and rituals are now being summoned.
🕯 The Singles That Summoned the Storm
Over the past year, V▲LH▲LL have offered glimpses of their dark evolution through a series of haunting singles:
“Nocturnal Eyes” (April 2024): A spectral dirge that lingered like dream residue
“Little Noises” (June 2024): Sparse, creeping minimalism that whispered in static
“Hunger” (August 2024): Brooding and guttural, pulsing with ritual dread
“Calling for Storms” (Current single): The incantation before collapse
Each release served as a cryptic breadcrumb—leading us to this moment. If Skymningsdjur signals the end of days, then V▲LH▲LL are the ones calling it down from the sky.
Prepare for impact. This May, HARM’S WAY and FULL OF HELL will detonate a co-headlining tour across North America, unleashing sonic violence alongside support from KRUELTY, JARHEAD FERTILIZER, and CLIQUE.
The Spring 2025 run kicks off May 10th in Detroit and runs through June 8th, culminating in Toronto. Along the way, HARM’S WAY will wreck stages at some of the year’s most stacked festivals—Sonic Temple, Welcome to Rockville, and Milwaukee Metal Fest. This relentless campaign also leads into a new HARM’S WAY EP, with further details to surface in the coming weeks.
“We’re building something heavier than just a tour,” said the band in a teaser. “This is about expression, destruction, and evolution.”
The tour follows the acclaimed release of Common Suffering (Metal Blade Records), an album that sees HARM’S WAY exploring grief, disorder, misanthropy, and mental collapse through some of the most diverse and punishing songwriting in their career.
From the shadow-soaked corners of New England’s metal underground, AVERSED returns with Erasure of Color, a brutal and elegant firestorm of Gothic-laced melodic death metal—now out everywhere on digital and physical formats. To mark the occasion, the band has premiered a brand-new video for the track “Burn,” capturing the raw intensity of their live ritual in full flame.
Filmed in their home venue—The Middle East in Cambridge, MA—the video is pure adrenaline, fusing pit-swirling madness with visceral camera work and the band’s crushing stage presence.
“We unleashed our videographers into the crowd to brave the pit and capture the energy,” says guitarist Sungwoo Jeong. “They survived—and we’re glad we captured that amazing show for all eternity.”
But “Burn” isn’t just a pit anthem—it’s a multi-dimensional beast.
“It started as a big-stage anthem,” says drummer Jeff Saltzman. “Then we added a rumba-clave section, a bass solo, and lyrics about violent class revolution. Not exactly your standard metal banger—but that’s what defines AVERSED.”
⚙️ About the Album: Erasure of Color
Released independently with support from Bandcamp, indie retailers, and limited physical editions—including 300 smoked-colored vinyl and 100 cassette copies—Erasure of Color is a monumental statement of intent. The album is a tempest of progressive death metal, gothic melody, and extreme emotional depth.
“This isn’t just another album; it’s a rebirth… a powerful exploration of grief, fueled by melodic death metal.” – Decibel “Think the bounce of mid-career The Agonist with the haunting widescreen talents of Oceans of Slumber.” – New Noise
Featuring artwork from Adam Burke (Unto Others, Gatecreeper) and orchestral arrangements by Vikram Shankar (Redemption, Silent Skies), the album was produced by bassist Alden Marchand and guitarist Sungwoo Jeong, with mixing by AJ Viana (Wormhole) and mastering by Brad Boatright (Code Orange, Obituary).
From May 8th to 10th, 2025, the city’s legendary Astra Kulturhaus becomes ground zero for a three-day descent into the depths of darkness, noise, and ritual rhythm: the Out Of Line Weekender 2025 – Dark’n’Electro Edition.
Presented by Out Of Line Music, the event returns with a vengeance, assembling a lineup of titans and underground disruptors from the realms of Industrial, EBM, Darkwave, Post-Punk, Synth, Death Disco, and Electro-Avantgarde. Expect blood-pulse BPMs, gothic atmospherics, and blacklight-drenched breakdowns that transcend genre—and space-time.

Twenty-five years into their reign, PSYCLON NINE have returned to the abyss with a vengeance. Their latest full-length offering, And Then Oblivion, out March 21, 2025 via Metropolis Records, is a genre-defying sonic invocation—a twisted ritual that fuses blackened industrial, deathcore, ambient, trap, and metal into something altogether untamed and unclean.

Rising from the digital ash with a torch in hand, Angelo D has dropped his latest sonic incantation: Promethean—a burning tribute to resilience, rebellion, and raw industrial fire.
The title itself nods to the myth of Prometheus—the titan who stole fire from the gods—and this release carries that same outlaw energy. Promethean doesn’t ask for permission. It takes. With layers of scorched synths, thunderous percussion, and a post-apocalyptic heartbeat, Angelo D channels a brutal, cyber-spiritual force that feels ancient and futuristic all at once.
Each track pulses like a war drum for the wired generation—inviting listeners into a shadow realm where defiance becomes ritual. Whether you’re marching through neon ruins or meditating in chaos, this is the soundtrack to your inner uprising.
Promethean is now available across all major platforms. 🔥 Don’t just hear it—feel it burn.

This isn’t just a collection—this is a declaration of allegiance to the underground. This time around we’re expanding our roster to include Asphodel Ivory and Fatigue, while also bringing new tracks from some familiar faces.” — Patrick Brooks, Outer Darkness Records
Founded in 2022, Outer Darkness Records is more than a label—it’s a movement. A collective of visionaries fusing dystopian aesthetics with genre-defying sound, ODR remains devoted to ushering in the next generation of industrial destruction.

🌐 Deep Dive into the Universe of Outer Darkness Records:
💀 From Silence to Surge: pixelgrinder’s new single “Advanced Bionics” isn’t just industrial techno—it’s a resurrection.
Crafted from the ashes of deafness and rebuilt with the fire of machinery, “Advanced Bionics (pixelgrinder Theme)” is a raw, explosive soundtrack of rebirth. After enduring the isolating silence of hearing loss, pixelgrinder underwent a life-altering cochlear implant procedure—one that didn’t just restore his hearing, but reprogrammed his perception of sound itself. What emerged? A bionic mind, hellbent on sonic warfare.
“Advanced Bionics” slams open with thunderous precision—no soft intro, no easing in. It’s an all-out assault: pounding beats, metallic textures, and frenetic pulses collide in a dystopian symphony of power. The production is both visceral and cerebral, designed to make your bones vibrate and your mind spiral.
At its core lies a spoken-word monologue—intimate, defiant, and riddled with subliminal undercurrents. This isn’t just music; it’s memory reconfigured. The track functions like a digital diary, exposing pixelgrinder’s journey from muted existence to cybernetic resurrection.
The message is clear: you cannot silence the future. This track screams for anyone who’s ever been ignored, underestimated, or shut out. “Advanced Bionics” is a manifesto—one forged in pain, rebuilt in code, and unleashed in rhythm.
💿 Out now on all major platforms—enter the machine, and feel the shift.
Dark, divine, and unapologetically unholy—SinThya steps out of the shadow and into the fire with “Not Marilyn Manson, But Definitely Antichrist.”
This isn’t cosplay. This is crucifixion couture. A twisted sermon of self-worship. A soundtrack for the damned.
Channeling industrial menace, glitchy glam, and snarling femininity, SinThya doesn’t aim to shock—he aims to ascend. This is not an echo of past provocateurs; it’s a fresh gospel carved into neon flesh. Think glitch-pop at a black mass. Think lips on the blade. Think sacred rage.
Unfiltered. Unrepentant. Unholy. She isn’t your savior—she’s your reckoning.
In the shadows of genre and expectation, SINthetik Messiah emerges like a signal from a corrupted frequency—an industrial renegade with a sound that defies boundaries. Bug Gigabyte, the mind behind the machine, doesn’t just make music—he sculpts high-definition noise into immersive sonic experiences. Describing the project is like trying to map a fever dream. It’s equal parts distorted beauty, emotional vulnerability, and cybernetic grit. Whether you find yourself spiraling through one of his ambient soundscapes or caught in the chaos of a drum & bass break, there’s a feeling that every track is alive—shifting, evolving, and never quite the same.
This sonic shapeshifter doesn’t organize his music by time, but by vibe. On his Bandcamp, styles flow like waves—from the latest release downward into a crescendo of genres. Each body of work builds on the last, like levels in a dystopian tower constructed from metal, emotion, and memory.
Raised on a musical diet of Nine Inch Nails, The Prodigy, and the smoky, compressed soul of Portishead, Bug’s early tastes paved a road into the depths of industrial and electronic experimentation. His journey began in middle school band class, with a trumpet in hand, and was further fueled by the underground rave scene where he cut his teeth at fifteen. Music wasn’t a sudden revelation—it was a slow burn into obsession.
Emotion fuels everything. His songs are stormy vessels, translating invisible feelings into tangible frequencies. Every track starts with a purpose—guided by BPMs drawn from DJ culture, then layered with mood, rhythm, and vision. After crafting the skeleton of a song, he always steps back, recharges, then returns to inject life into the sound. This meticulous process is the reason there are multiple albums—and even a book—on the horizon.
Distortion is the heartbeat of SINthetik Messiah. Whether subtle or savage, every track is soaked in it. Gear doesn’t define the project—creativity does. Bug has used everything from professional DAWs to Nintendo DS consoles. One standout release, Revelations of the Nintendo Generation, was crafted entirely with a DS and stands as a badge of fearless ingenuity. His production philosophy? “Any machine can make industrial music if you smash it hard enough.”
Film, television, and video games feed his imagination. Sci-fi, cyberpunk, horror—all of it bleeds into the thematic DNA of his sound. It’s not just music—it’s a world unto itself. The Vatican might be a spacefaring empire in his conceptual universe, but that’s just the surface. His critique of religion is nuanced, never gimmicky. He rejects the tired goth tropes of shock-value imagery and instead focuses on authentic storytelling through music and visual art.
Live shows are as unpredictable as the man himself. His sets shift depending on the venue and lineup—metal shows get guitar-heavy chaos, while electronic crowds get dancefloor-ready beats. No two performances are the same. And if he doesn’t play your favorite song? That’s okay. Catch him next time. He promises it’ll be different.
What keeps him going isn’t accolades or praise from childhood idols—it’s the real, raw messages from fans who say his music made them feel seen, heard, healed. That impact means more than anything else. “Sad boy vibes” aside, Bug’s sense of humor and humility keep his connection to fans deeply grounded.
He’s collaborated across the scene, from remix artists to professional engineers who elevate his mixes into sonic clarity. These collaborations are creative therapy, and they offer brief escapes from long-term projects. Right now, two new albums are in progress: one instrumental, blending industrial with trip-hop, and another slower, vocal-driven work steeped in old-school electro. He’s even attaching a book to one of them. Grammy dreams? Absolutely. One track is already headed for submission, and 2025 might just be the year the world takes notice.
As for the future, touring internationally is the dream. Once the world settles down, SINthetik Messiah plans to take his universe global—two tours per year across continents, bringing his growing discography to life onstage.
Until then, he remains in the lab—creating, distorting, and waiting for the next wave of noise to rise.
Step into a realm where apocalyptic sermons and celestial incantations collide—“Fall Damage” is here. Out now via darkTunes Music Group, this hypnotic collaboration unites CIRCUIT PREACHER, enigmatic leader of the Church of the Final Days, and CZARINA, the mystical High Priestess of the Coast of Death, for a spellbinding dive into gothic elegance and cinematic intensity.
With CZARINA’s haunting, ethereal vocals weaving through CIRCUIT PREACHER’s fiery proclamations of inner strength, “Fall Damage” creates a soundscape that is as emotionally transcendent as it is sonically immense. Orchestral darkwave, gothic synths, and brooding industrial rhythms merge into a track that feels like the soundtrack to a dream collapsing into starlight.
“Fall Damage” isn’t just a song—it’s a portal. 💫 A sweeping score for shadow travelers. 🕯️ A love letter to resilience in the face of chaos.
💎 Rarely do two singular forces align this perfectly—“Fall Damage” is the glorious result of such a union. A must-listen for fans of gothic electro, ethereal industrial, and dark cinematic soundscapes.
Out now via Out Of Line Music, rising Australian darkwave duo VOWWS return with the haunting new single “Hurt You” — a brooding, sensual exploration of love, memory, and longing. Following the success of their hard-hitting track “Blood’s On Fire” featuring Josh Freese of Foo Fighters, “Hurt You” brings a more intimate, melancholic energy while maintaining their signature cinematic edge.
“This is probably as close as we’ll get to an actual love song,” VOWWS explain. “But it’s more like a memory of love. A rose-tinted longing… Sometimes these memories change and become their own entity, like an old, flickering movie of the past. That feeling is what the song represents to us.”
Known for their fearless fusion of industrial, electronica, and alt-rock, VOWWS (Rizz + Matt James) have already captured the attention of legends like Deftones, Gary Numan, Korn, A Perfect Circle, and Billy Corgan. With their upcoming 2025 album, the duo have sharpened their vision further — collaborating with Billy Howerdel (A Perfect Circle) to bring their sonic storytelling to life.
Beyond music, VOWWS have also made waves in the fashion world, working with Commes des Garçons, Givenchy, Alyx, and Byredo for live performances and brand compositions, reflecting their multi-dimensional artistic impact.

Canadian sludge-noise duo Mares of Thrace are back with another crushing chapter in their journey through sorrow and sonic chaos. Their latest single, “Anticipatory Grief,” is out now, offering a raw and relentless preview of their upcoming full-length record The Loss, due out May 16 via Artoffact Records.
The third track to emerge from The Loss, “Anticipatory Grief” erupts with an ominous guitar riff that spirals into crushing distortion. Thérèse Lanz delivers a feral vocal performance that feels like a cathartic exorcism, while drummer Casey Rodgers smashes forward with thunderous precision. Together, they create a suffocating wall of sound steeped in dread, anxiety, and inevitability.
Lanz explains the meaning behind the song:
“The songs on The Loss follow the sequence of Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’ famous stages of grief, but in my reading I found descriptions of very specific flavors of grief that often go unacknowledged—bonus grief, if you will. Anticipatory Grief is the pain of watching loss creep slowly toward you, knowing it’s coming, and feeling helpless in that long descent.”
Following their previous release, Complicated Grief, this new single continues the band’s emotional excavation through the psychological terrain of mourning and survival. Gritty, visceral, and unapologetically dark, “Anticipatory Grief” is more than a song—it’s a confrontation with pain.
Produced by Scott Evans (Sumac, Sleep, Yautja), The Loss is the band’s fourth full-length and most personal release to date. A thematic reflection on the complex stages of grief, each track dives deeper into human vulnerability and strength. It’s an unflinching gaze into mortality, transformation, and the universality of emotional wreckage.
🔥 About Mares of Thrace
Formed in Canada, Mares of Thrace fuse sludge, doom, noise rock, and hardcore into a pulverizing sound that defies easy categorization. Frontwoman Thérèse Lanz (hailed as “an unrivalled monster of a frontperson” by Exclaim!), and drummer Casey Rodgers (also known for stepping in for Gene Hoglan in Zimmer’s Hole) bring a devastating presence to both stage and studio.
After re-emerging in 2022 with The Exile, the band toured extensively across North America and Europe with heavyweights like Conan, Bell Witch, and KEN mode, all while earning critical acclaim. Now signed to Artoffact Records (Kaelan Mikla, GGGOLDDD), their upcoming album marks their most ambitious evolution yet.
Canadian alt-metal trailblazer ONI has returned with a soul-piercing new single, “Shouldn’t Feel This Way,” a powerful acoustic ballad that peels back the distortion to reveal raw emotion and heartbreak. Out now on all platforms, the track marks a distinct shift in tone for ONI—showcasing a softer, more vulnerable side of project founder Jake Oni.
“‘Shouldn’t Feel This Way’ is about mourning the loss of someone really close to you, and the constant struggle in life to live without feeling lost and alone… It isn’t like anything I have released before. I got to shoot the video on my farm in Canada which is a very important place for me.”
Co-written with John Boecklin, Seth Evans, and Kile Odell, the track follows the recent cover of The Kooks’ “Naive” and ONI’s emotionally charged Genesis EP, setting the stage for a dynamic and deeply personal year in the band’s evolution.

From his debut Ironshore (2016) to the powerful sophomore effort Loathing Light (2022) featuring Iggy Pop and Randy Blythe, to the genre-defying The Silver Line (2023) with collabs including Howard Jones and Sueco, Jake Oni has proven he’s one of the scene’s most versatile and ambitious voices.
The Genesis EP (2025) continues that upward trajectory with singles like “Deja Vu,” “Walk Away,” and “Erase” leading the charge.
Louisville’s harbingers of brutality, GATES TO HELL, have arrived with their long-awaited full-length release, Death Comes To All — a ferocious and unrelenting slab of molten death metalcore now unleashed upon the world via Nuclear Blast Records. 💀🔥
To mark the occasion, the band has also dropped a stunningly aggressive video for the fan-favorite “21 Sacraments,” inspired by the twisted lore of the Silent Hill game series. Directed and edited by Errick Easterday, the clip drips with horror aesthetics and iconic visuals that elevate the song’s sheer intensity. 💀📺
💬 The band shares: “We are beyond stoked for Death Comes To All to finally be in your hands. We put everything into this record, and working with Randy LeBoeuf brought our sound to new depths. 💀 FEATURING THE NEW SINGLE & MINI-VISUALIZER ‘SEVEN ARMS’ 💀 🎧 Available on Vinyl, CD, and Digital Formats
The wait is over. Today, boundary-pushing progressive rock collective O.R.k. unleash their highly anticipated fifth album, Firehose of Falsehoods, via Kscope — and it’s their boldest, most cathartic offering yet. 💥
With contributions from Alessandro Vagnoni and John Wesley, this is a record forged from global unrest, spiritual unrest, and pure musical chemistry — a sonic paradox that filters chaos through clarity.
“This record is a reflection of the world’s noise and distortion,” the band states. “Yet it’s the most ‘O.R.k.’ we’ve ever been — a raw, unshakable testament to our brotherhood.”
🎵 NEW SINGLE: “SEVEN ARMS”
Alongside the album comes the emotional powerhouse ‘Seven Arms’, which bassist Colin Edwin describes as:
“Perhaps the most accessible and catchy tune on Firehose of Falsehoods. The title and lyrics are metaphorical — about relationships, the scars we carry, and the impossibility of making it work sometimes, even if you had seven arms. Above all, it should feel cathartic.”
Firehose of Falsehoods continues the evolving journey O.R.k. began with 2015’s Inflamed Rides, and carried through Soul Of An Octopus (2017), Ramagehead (2019), and Screamnasium (2022). This new chapter is a fearless dive into themes of propaganda, disillusionment, and the elusive nature of truth.
Frontman Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari (LEF) explains:
“We live in a world where it’s increasingly difficult to know the truth. So we chose a title that references the overwhelming blast of misinformation, in contrast to the honesty we strive for in our music.”
💥 The album cover — created by Marvel/DC legend Denis Rodier — adds to the mystery. Tentacles reach through static and confusion. Are they dragging us down into distortion, or tearing down the towers of lies?
Copenhagen’s brutal heavyweights CABAL have just dropped their devastating new full-length album, Everything Rots, and it’s a vicious sonic purge of deathcore, industrial, and total annihilation. 💀💀💀

🗣 Vocalist Andreas Bjulver states:
“We are beyond excited to finally share Everything Rots with the world. This album is the culmination of years of blood, sweat, and rage. All good things end, everyone dies, and… Everything Rots. 💀🩸”

CABAL are a sonic plague from Denmark—uncompromising, unrelenting, and unfathomably heavy. Since their 2018 debut, they’ve decimated stages across the globe with their crushing fusion of deathcore, metalcore, industrial noise, and pitch-black atmospheres.
Everything Rots is CABAL’s most punishing, personal, and visceral record to date. Rife with bleak themes—depression, betrayal, trauma, and decay—it’s a mirror to a crumbling world. The band channels real-life experiences into each track with gut-wrenching authenticity and devastating force. 💀
Featuring guest appearances by members of DISTANT, NASTY, TEN56, VISCERA, and AVIANA, this album is a dark hymn for the broken and the cursed.

Wielding her signature blend of ethereal vocals, shadow-drenched synths, and mystical storytelling, “Crown of Shattered Glass” is a spellbinding descent into heartbreak, power, and rebirth. With poetic lyrics and hypnotic textures, the track glistens like broken crystal—fragile, beautiful, and dangerous. 🌒🕯️
Margot Day continues to blur the lines between dream pop, dark cabaret, and goth-infused electronica. This release is a stunning testament to her evolution as an artist and oracle of the underground. Whether you’re a longtime fan or stepping into Metamorph’s realm for the first time, “Crown of Shattered Glass” will cast its spell on you. 🌹

Re:Mission Entertainment has just unleashed a pulse-pounding new release: Void of Love, the darkly seductive two-track EP from Voix in the Dark and Maduro. 💔🕯️
Philadelphia-based dark synth conjurer Voix in the Dark (DeShawn Timothy) teams up with veteran sonic alchemist Maduro (Dave Buracker) to resurrect the icy allure of early 2000s electroclash and inject it with modern darkwave urgency. Together, they summon ghosts from dancefloors long lost — channeling the minimalist danger of Miss Kittin & The Hacker while weaving in current dark electro and synth pop textures.
💿 Mastered by Adam Stilson (Patriarchy, Pixel Grip, Hide, Ritual Howls), Void of Love is a compact but cutting statement — stark, stylish, and emotionally raw. Whether you’re brooding under red lights or getting lost in late-night neon, this EP delivers synth-drenched sorrow for the romantically ruined.
The wait is over. San Francisco’s industrial shock unit Psyclon Nine has just dropped their devastating new full-length And Then Oblivion, available now via Metropolis Records. 🔥
A relentless plunge into the void, And Then Oblivion is a sonic descent into chaos — fusing elements of industrial metal, deathcore, ambient, and blackened electronics. Spearheaded by the ever-visionary Nero Bellum, the album is both harrowing and cinematic, packed with unrelenting aggression, tortured beauty, and spiritual decay. 💀
Featuring the blistering singles “Devil’s Work” and “I Choose Violence”, this album marks Psyclon Nine’s most ambitious and unfiltered release to date. It’s a sermon for the damned, crafted in blood, fury, and divine despair.

It’s introspective, urgent, and undeniably danceable — a perfect soundtrack for fog-filled nights and existential reflection.

The Godfather of post-punk and goth, Peter Murphy returns with “The Artroom Wonder” 💀 — a poetic, haunting new single pulled from the depths of memory and myth. The track is the latest taste of his forthcoming 10th studio album, Silver Shade, arriving this spring via Metropolis Records.
Following 2024’s dreamy duet with Boy George, “Let The Flowers Grow,” and February’s shimmering synth-funk single “Swoon,”“The Artroom Wonder” takes fans even deeper into Murphy’s sonic labyrinth. 💀
Murphy reflects:
“This is an echo from my 4th year at senior school. Daniel Ash [former Bauhaus bandmate] and I are listening to the mysterious 6th year cool intelligentsia that have gathered in the artroom… the music coming from it is intriguing. We discover the song is [David Bowie’s] ‘The Bewlay Brothers’… mystical and sensual, with the singer’s voice as seductive as anyone I’d ever heard.”
He continues, “My song tells this story in a surreal and oblique fashion. There’s a lowdown that transitions into a vision of the perfected human being, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and closes with a celebration of self-awareness and advancement.”
🔥 With a guest appearance from Justin Chancellor of Tool on bass, The Artroom Wonder is one of many layered collaborations featured on Silver Shade — an album produced by the legendary Youth (Killing Joke, Pink Floyd, The Verve), marking the long-awaited follow-up to Murphy’s 2014 opus Lion.
“This new album,” Murphy affirms, “is as powerful as any of my work to date.” 🖤

With Silver Shade, Murphy invites listeners once again into the sacred space where poetry, memory, and the surreal collide.

New Album Cross Me Twice Drops March 28th + U.S. Summer Tour Announced! 🎸
The countdown is officially on! Phoenix-based nu-metal powerhouse SICKSENSE is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated debut full-length album, Cross Me Twice, arriving March 28th via Earache Records. As the final taste before the album’s drop, the band has just unveiled their electrifying new single, “Follow Me”, a track packed with raw emotion, crushing riffs, and anthemic melodies.
Co-vocalist Killer V shares the deep meaning behind the track:
“‘Follow Me’ is about two people being together at the wrong place at the wrong time in that point of their lives. It’s a story of realizing and acknowledging that they just aren’t meant to be together. It doesn’t mean they’re bad people, they just aren’t right for each other.
We’re all flawed, we’ve all done or said things we regret. Growth comes from learning from our mistakes, recognizing when we’re wrong, and moving forward.
I love that this is the final track on Cross Me Twice. It doesn’t leave on a positive or negative note—it leaves the future open with possibilities, just like our journey as a band.”
🔥 Cross Me Twice – Out March 28th!
💿 Tracklist: 1️⃣ Sellout 2️⃣ Wildfires 3️⃣ Throwback 4️⃣ Fever Dream 5️⃣ Invisible 6️⃣ On Repeat 7️⃣ Masquerade Parade 8️⃣ In This Carousel 9️⃣ Here Come All The Memories 🔟 Follow Me
From the creative minds of Vicky “Killer V” Psarakis (ex-The Agonist) and Rob The Ripper (Stuck Mojo), SICKSENSE is redefining nu-metal with a fresh, high-energy approach. Featuring Agent Phil (guitar), The Gothfather (bass), and Smokin’ J (drums), the band fuses nu-metal, metalcore, and electronic elements to create a genre-defying sound.
🎵 Listen to previous singles:Wildfires, On Repeat, Masquerade Parade, and In This Carousel.
Killer V on Cross Me Twice:
“Cross Me Twice takes listeners on an emotional rollercoaster. We’ve evolved from our traditional nu-metal roots by incorporating modern metal and electronic elements. The heavy parts got heavier, the soft parts got softer, and the catchy parts got catchier.
We faced challenges while making this album, parting ways with former members and bringing in new ones. Those struggles inspired the lyrics, making this our most personal and powerful record yet.
Working with producer Joey Doherty elevated the record’s sound to the next level, and we believe this will be one of the best-sounding albums of 2025. We poured our hearts into this, and we hope it resonates with our fans just as much as it does with us.”
