Happy Monday, Perfectionists! Things are busy at Aesthetic Perfection HQ. While we’re gearing up for our upcoming winter tour with Till Lindemann, we’re also excited to announce a series of headline shows on the We Bring the Beat Tour. All dates and ticket links are listed below.

On June 20th, I released the long-awaited reissue of my debut album. This isn’t just a simple re-release; it’s a complete reinvention of the 2005 original, rebuilt from the ground up using all the original samples and synthesizers.

During the initial preorder, the red vinyl editions nearly sold out, but a handful were reserved for my online shops. They’ve just arrived in our facility and are shipping now. 🎧🎶 Murder Love God Unleashes “Alter of Evolution” This Friday, June 6th! 🎧

Murder Love God is officially releasing “Alter of Evolution” on all streaming services, including Bandcamp, this coming Friday, June 6th, 2025! This remix and collaborative album features heavy hitters from the underground scene.

Murder Love God is the project of Medavon DeRaj’e, best known as the frontman for LOCKJAW, which he started in 2007. He is often joined by Jose Ramirez (LOCKJAW) on guitars and Jeremy Gardipee (Incekt) both on album and live.

“Alter of Evolution” is described as an aggressive, psychedelic electro reinterpretation of songs spanning back in time, akin to an acid trip. 🎧🎶 HOCICO Unleashes New Single “Brainrot”! 🎧

Mexico’s electro-industrial juggernauts HOCICO once again plunge into the dystopian psyche of the digital era. Erk Aicrag and Racso Agroyam return with a visceral, unrelenting track that strips away the glossy veneer of online life and exposes the rot festering beneath.

If The Screen was a direct attack on the anonymity of internet cruelty, “Brainrot” dives even deeper, capturing the suffocating grip of algorithmic addiction. It’s a grotesque ballet of dopamine, dependency, and despair, screamed through Erk’s searing vocals and wrapped in Racso’s hellish production.

Musically, “Brainrot” marks a bold evolution in Hocico’s sound. Infused with aggressive drum and bass influences, it hits with a hyperkinetic energy that feels both chaotic and meticulously controlled. The track seamlessly fuses this rhythmic onslaught with the duo’s signature industrial brutality and aggrotech venom, creating a sound that feels both fresh and devastatingly familiar. This is not a trend-following experiment—it’s a fully weaponized Hocico beatdown, sharpened for the digital battlefield.

From the very first line, “Plug me in, I’m a slave to the screen,” the listener is dragged into a world where identity, free will, and humanity are systematically dismantled by our tech overlords. The lyrics are a cyberpunk confession: raw, paranoid, and disturbingly accurate. Lines like “I dance for the likes, I bleed for the views” hit like gut punches, capturing the performance anxiety and manufactured existence many experience but few dare to articulate.

The chorus, an unrelenting chant of “Brainrot!”, becomes a war cry and a diagnosis all at once. Each repetition digs deeper into the madness, like a virus rewriting the code of the self. The distorted synths and glitchy textures reflect the chaos of a mind being rewired for engagement, not meaning.

Hocico doesn’t just critique digital culture—they drag its corpse onto the stage, expose its entrails, and make you dance with it. The track’s final verse, “Now I’m the king of nothing but brainrot!”, isn’t just a lyric, it’s a warning: the more we feed the machine, the more it devours us.

With “Brainrot,” Hocico once again proves they are not just musicians but prophets of a dying age, screaming from the edge of digital oblivion. This isn’t just music, it’s a mirror. And you won’t like what you see.

HEADLESS Unveils New Single “Weightless” Ahead of Upcoming Album ‘Transitional Objects’

European progressive hard rock outfit HEADLESS has returned with their latest single, “Weightless,” available now on all streaming and download platforms. Fans can also watch the animated music video directed by Dime Stamenov (Sabaton, Uriah Heep, Saxon) HERE.

A Preview of ‘Transitional Objects’

“Weightless” serves as the first glimpse into HEADLESS’ forthcoming album, ‘Transitional Objects,’ set for release in late summer 2025. Mastered by Ted Jensen (Dream Theater, Metallica), the track encapsulates the band’s signature fusion of intricate guitar work, dynamic rhythms, and soaring melodic vocals.

Guitarist Walter Cianciusi describes the single as “a hyper-prog song” filled with complex rhythmic textures and a deeply personal lyrical theme:

“This single delivers a brand-new level of complexity. It’s a hyper-progressive song where the rhythm section creates an intricate tapestry at the limits of human performance. At the same time, the vocal melody remains smooth and uplifting, narrating the growing bond between a father and son.”

He further explains that the new album is:

“A no-frills heavy release featuring eight solid prog songs that mark the absolute peak of HEADLESS’ career. We achieved a level of chemistry and craftsmanship that will likely remain unparalleled in future releases.”

A Legacy of Excellence in Hard Rock and Progressive Metal

One of the defining elements of HEADLESS’ sound is the unmistakable voice of Göran Edman, the Swedish singer renowned for his work with Yngwie Malmsteen, John Norum, Vinnie Vincent, Madison, Swedish Erotica, Glory, Karmakanic, and many more.

Formed in 1996 by cousins Walter (guitars) and Enrico Cianciusi (drums), the band initially released ‘Future to Past’ (1996) and ‘Inside You’ (1998) before disbanding in 2000. Walter later revived the project in 2011 with a fresh lineup, incorporating elements of progressive metal, melodic rock, and AOR-style choruses.

The band’s comeback album ‘Growing Apart’ (2013) featured Queensrÿche’s Scott Rockenfield on drums, followed by ‘Melt the Ice Away’ (2016) (featuring Jim Matheos of Fates Warning). Their 2021 release, ‘Square One’, marked their debut with M-Theory Audio and introduced bassist Martin Helmantel (Elegy), further strengthening their sound.

Till Lindemann Unleashes New Solo Single “Meine Welt” Ahead of 2025 Tour

Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann has released his latest solo single, “Meine Welt”, marking a bold and thought-provoking addition to his growing catalog of solo work. Initially launched digitally on December 20, 2024, the single has now been made available in physical formats as of March 14, 2025, through Out of Line Music.

“Meine Welt” (translated as My World) showcases Lindemann’s signature deep, commanding vocals paired with an intense, cinematic arrangement.
