Makes My Blood Dance unveil “Lately (feat. Macy Gray)” single as industrial and soul collide

The collision hits with intent—Makes My Blood Dance return with “Lately (feat. Macy Gray)”, a bold reinterpretation that bridges worlds that were never meant to meet.

A Dark Rebuild of a Soul Classic

Released May 1 via Metropolis Records, the new single flips a familiar foundation into something colder, sharper, and far more volatile. Originally appearing as a sleek disco track on Macy Gray’s 2010 album The Sellout, “Lately” is reimagined here through an industrial lens—pulling the groove into darker territory before snapping it back into focus with tension and control.

Gray’s unmistakable voice doesn’t just revisit the track—it transforms it. Her smoky, textured delivery cuts straight through the mechanical pulse, elevating the reinterpretation into something unpredictable. As the band describes it, this is “two worlds that shouldn’t meet, colliding in the same room.”

A Defining Crossover Moment

This release marks a pivotal moment for Makes My Blood Dance. Bringing a Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum voice into the industrial and electro-goth space doesn’t dilute the sound—it amplifies it.

Instead of softening the edges, Gray’s presence adds contrast and weight, reinforcing the emotional core while the band reconstructs the track through calculated builds and releases. It’s not nostalgia—it’s reinvention with purpose.

Momentum Builds Toward “Z3r0 2 LGHT $p33d!”

“Lately (feat. Macy Gray)” lands as the band continues a major U.S. tour alongside Powerman 5000 and 12 Stones, running through the end of May. The timing isn’t accidental—it’s a strategic ramp-up toward their debut album, “Z3r0 2 LGHT $p33d!”, arriving June 5 on CD and digital platforms, with vinyl pressing scheduled for August.

The album pulls together a growing arsenal of singles including “Heavy Metal Armour,” “Time And A Place,” “Your Little Hand In Mine,” and “Black Summer,” forming a project that positions the band squarely at the intersection of industrial rock, darkwave, and electronic nightlife.

Produced by Mikal Blue and Bret Mazur, the record is engineered for crossover impact—designed to hit just as hard in a club as it does on a festival stage.

Reprogramming the Dancefloor

Makes My Blood Dance have built their reputation on more than just recordings. Their live performances blur the lines between metal crowds, club culture, and alternative scenes—creating an environment where genres don’t compete, they merge.

This isn’t just performance. It’s recalibration.

I Ya Toyah unleashes “FEELINGS (Extended Edit)” single with a defiant industrial edge

The signal cuts through clean and sharp—I Ya Toyah returns with “FEELINGS (Extended Edit)”, a release that doesn’t soften its message or dilute its intent.

A Confrontation Disguised as a Song

“FEELINGS” isn’t built to comfort—it’s engineered to confront. Driven by frustration, clarity, and emotional overload, the track reflects a world that feels increasingly artificial, loud, and tightly controlled.

There’s a deliberate tension running through it. The song calls out a culture shaped by selfishness, performative outrage, and manipulation, slicing through curated narratives and passive conformity with biting precision. It doesn’t just observe—it challenges.

At its core, this is resistance in audio form.

Where Personal Truth Meets Cultural Fracture

Beneath the aggression, “FEELINGS” carries something more grounded—something human. This isn’t abstract commentary; it’s rooted in lived experience, shaped by the weight of witnessing the same cycles repeat again and again.

The track captures a generation caught in contradiction—hypersensitive yet emotionally detached, connected yet isolated. It exposes the internal conflict between speaking out and staying silent, between wanting connection and feeling pushed into withdrawal.

That push and pull gives the song its weight. It’s not just critique—it’s confession.

Precision, Power, and Purpose

Musically, the extended edit amplifies the track’s intensity. The industrial backbone hits hard, but it’s the control behind the chaos that defines it. Every element feels intentional—no wasted space, no excess noise.

The pacing allows the message to breathe while maintaining pressure, creating a listening experience that evolves rather than explodes. It’s calculated, sharp, and built for impact that lasts beyond the first listen.

This isn’t just a track—it’s a statement of identity and refusal.

🎶 Listen Now:

More Than Music: Purpose, Advocacy, and Identity

I Ya Toyah isn’t just creating sound—she’s building a platform with purpose. Translating to “It’s just me” and “I am who I am,” her name reflects a fiercely independent, self-driven approach, where she operates as a true one-woman force across every layer of her work—from production to performance.

Beyond the music, her mission becomes even more powerful. I Ya Toyah is a dedicated advocate for mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and animal rights, actively backing those beliefs with action. She donates 15% of proceeds from her music and merchandise to organizations including the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and the Animal Hope and Wellness Foundation, turning art into direct impact.

While her sound blends industrial, darkwave, electro, and alternative influences—and her collaborations span names like Raymond Watts, Rhys Fulber, and Tim Skold—it’s the message behind the music that resonates deepest. Whether through her solo work or contributions to projects like The Joy Thieves, she continues to channel real-world tension, compassion, and resistance into everything she creates.

This is independence with impact—and a voice that refuses to stay silent.

Nitroverts release new single “Spiral”

Nitroverts return with a pulse-driven new single that pulls listeners deep into a hypnotic sonic vortex, reinforcing their presence in the underground electronic scene.

A descent into controlled chaos

The latest release from Nitroverts, “Spiral,” is more than just a track—it’s an experience engineered to wrap around the listener and tighten with every passing second. Built on a foundation of driving rhythms and dark electronic textures, the single leans heavily into a mechanical, almost industrial energy while maintaining a fluid sense of motion.

There’s a deliberate tension in the arrangement—each layer introduced with precision, each transition pulling deeper into the track’s core. The result is a soundscape that feels alive, constantly evolving, and impossible to ignore once it takes hold.

Precision production meets underground energy

“Spiral” highlights Nitroverts’ ability to balance raw intensity with polished execution. The percussion hits hard and clean, while the surrounding synth work builds an atmosphere that feels both cinematic and club-ready. It’s the kind of track that thrives in dark rooms, strobe-lit dancefloors, and late-night headphone sessions alike.

Rather than relying on repetition alone, Nitroverts inject subtle variations and shifts throughout the track, keeping the momentum fresh and engaging from start to finish. It’s a calculated build-and-release cycle that mirrors the very concept of a spiral—tightening, expanding, and pulling you back in again.

From Breaking Point to Brutal Clarity — Chamber Redefine Chaos with “this is goodbye…”

Nashville’s rising metalcore force CHAMBER return with a relentless and emotionally charged new chapter, delivering their most intense and introspective record to date.

A New Era of Controlled Chaos

CHAMBER have officially unleashed their long-awaited third full-length album, this is goodbye…, out now via Pure Noise Records. Serving as the follow-up to their 2023 breakout A Love To Kill For, the new record expands their sonic identity into darker, more chaotic territory while sharpening their already devastating precision.

Across 12 tracks, the band delivers a punishing fusion of metal and hardcore—each song meticulously constructed yet brimming with raw, unfiltered energy. Recent singles “without a trace,” “violins,” and “angel” offer a glimpse into the album’s volatile core, with “angel” now accompanied by a striking visualizer that amplifies its emotional weight.

Built on Instinct, Not Perfection

Rather than overthinking the process, CHAMBER leaned into spontaneity while crafting this is goodbye…. Recorded with longtime collaborator Randy LeBoeuf, the album captures lightning-in-a-bottle moments born from instinct and chemistry.

The band reflects on the experience:

“this is goodbye… is Chamber at our most open and instinctive. A lot of this record was written on the spot in Randy’s studio, with no time to overthink what we were playing. When we look back, we remember the energy, the laughs, and how naturally everything came together. We just wanted to write parts that would get each other fired up.”

That unfiltered approach bleeds into every second of the record, giving it a sense of urgency that feels both dangerous and alive.

Confronting the Weight of Existence

At its core, this is goodbye… is more than just an album—it’s a confrontation. CHAMBER channel the exhaustion, uncertainty, and emotional toll of modern existence into a body of work that feels brutally honest.

Themes of grief, existential dread, and perseverance collide with their signature “psychotic mosh metal” intensity. Dissonant riffs, unpredictable rhythms, and suffocating atmospheres create a soundscape that mirrors the chaos of the world it reflects.

Despite its ominous title—drawn from the closing track “in revolving doors”—the album doesn’t signal an end. Instead, it captures a pivotal moment of reckoning, pushing forward through the noise rather than surrendering to it.

Tracklist Breakdown

  1. arms of eternity
  2. scarlet ink
  3. violins
  4. vanity
  5. surveillance
  6. parting gift
  7. angel
  8. pale blue (why?)
  9. without a trace
  10. resurrect (Feat. Vincent Bennett)
  11. death without departure
  12. in revolving doors

Hitting the Road

CHAMBER are taking this is goodbye… on the road this spring alongside Malevolence and Guilt Trip, bringing their explosive live presence across North America. From Detroit to Milwaukee, the tour promises unrelenting energy and cathartic release.

KMFDM European Tour Postponed as Ultra Heavy Beat Faction Prepares to Strike Back with ENEMY

The Ultra Heavy Beat never dies—but sometimes it’s forced to regroup. German electronic and industrial rock pioneers KMFDM have officially postponed their nearly sold-out European tour, originally scheduled for February and March 2026, due to a severe illness requiring immediate medical intervention and ongoing therapy.

Tour Update: Health Comes First

The tour was set to support the band’s forthcoming 24th studio album, ENEMY, but circumstances beyond their control have brought plans to a temporary halt.

“We are so very sorry. We were looking forward to do this tour, but we will make up for it,” states KMFDM founder Sascha ‘Käpt’n K’ Konietzko.
“We appreciate your love and support! Long live the ULTRA HEAVY BEAT,” adds co-vocalist Lucia Cifarelli.

All tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. A revised tour timeline is expected to be announced soon.

Album Release Unchanged: ENEMY Arrives February 6, 2026

Despite the tour delay, the release of ENEMY remains locked in for February 6, 2026, via Metropolis Records.

The first single, “OUBLIETTE,” is already available and sets the tone for what may be KMFDM’s most confrontational release yet.

ENEMY

  • Formats: 2×LP | CD | Digital
  • Release Date: February 6, 2026
  • Label: Metropolis Records
  • Includes the single: OUBLIETTE (WAV | MP3 | Streaming | Bandcamp)

The Sound of Defiance

Society fractures. Fascism parades openly. Silence is demanded. KMFDM responds the only way they know how—louder, sharper, and more uncompromising than ever.

With 42 years of conceptual continuity through distinction, KMFDM declare themselves the ENEMY—a direct challenge to hypocrisy, discrimination, and systemic decay. The album is helmed by the songwriting and vocal command of Konietzko and Cifarelli, driven by the percussive assault of Andy Selway, and now reinforced by London-based guitarist Tidor Nieddu, whose vivid six-string attack injects fresh aggression into the KMFDM arsenal.

Adding another striking dimension, Annabella Konietzko appears on the explosive track “YOÜ,” marking her songwriting debut with the band after mesmerizing audiences during the 40th anniversary tour.

Musical Warfare Across the Tracklist

ENEMY is stylistically fearless—biting satire, political venom, and dancefloor-ready brutality collide across its runtime:

  • Dance/rock melodicism: OUBLIETTE
  • Dark industrial grooves: CATCH & KILL
  • Thrash satire: OUTERNATIONAL INTERVENTION
  • Vicious industrial metal: L’ETAT
  • Funk-driven menace: VAMPYR
  • Dub-laced defiance: STRAY BULLET 2.0

KMFDM continues to move—dancing on the blood-dimmed tide, roaring against a world that demands ignorance over awareness.

ENEMY – Tracklist

  2. OUBLIETTE
  3. L’ETAT
  4. VAMPYR

Legacy of the Ultra Heavy Beat

Founded in Hamburg in 1984 by Sascha Konietzko, KMFDM carved a singular path through industrial rock—combining confrontational politics, abrasive electronics, and undeniable hooks. Early releases in Germany led to U.S. success through Wax Trax! Records, with the 1990s cementing their legacy via hits like “Juke Joint Jezebel” and soundtrack placements in Bad Boys and Mortal Kombat.

Bands such as Rammstein and Korn cut their teeth opening on KMFDM tours. After a brief hiatus in 1999, the band re-emerged on Metropolis Records with Lucia Cifarelli, continuing a relentless cycle of releases and tours. Their most recent album, LET GO (2024), capped a 40-year legacy, followed by a remixed and remastered edition of HAU RUCK in 2025.

DarkHeart Syndicate Reveal New Single “Behind My Eyes”

A raw transmission from the inner machinery of the self, “Behind My Eyes” marks a defining moment in the evolution of DarkHeart Syndicate.

DarkHeart Syndicate have officially released their new single Behind My Eyes, delivering a stark, emotionally charged entry into their growing catalog of dark electronic and industrial-infused soundscapes. The track arrives as both a confession and a confrontation—an unfiltered look at the internal battles that rage beneath the surface.

A Glimpse Beneath the Surface

“Behind My Eyes” leans heavily into atmosphere and tension, pairing brooding electronics with a sense of restrained aggression. Rather than relying solely on brute force, the song builds its impact through mood, pacing, and lyrical introspection. It feels claustrophobic by design—pulling the listener inward, into a mental space shaped by isolation, perception, and unresolved conflict.

There’s a deliberate contrast at play: cold, mechanical textures collide with deeply human emotion. The result is a track that doesn’t just play—it lingers, echoing long after the final note fades.

Soundtrack for the Inner War

At its core, “Behind My Eyes” explores the divide between what is shown to the world and what remains hidden. It speaks to survival, endurance, and the quiet strength required to carry unseen weight. This is not a song engineered for surface-level consumption; it’s meant for listeners who resonate with darkness not as spectacle, but as truth.

A Statement Release

With this release, DarkHeart Syndicate continues to sharpen its identity—blending dystopian aesthetics, emotional realism, and a cinematic sense of scale. “Behind My Eyes” feels less like a standalone single and more like a mission statement, signaling deeper narratives and heavier transmissions yet to come.

Fans of industrial, dark electronic, and emotionally driven alternative music will find plenty to dissect here—both sonically and thematically.

This isn’t about fitting into the system or playing along with its rules—it’s about reshaping the landscape entirely and claiming what was never meant to be given.

Blending cybernetic sleigh bells, industrial frostbite, and Celldweller’s unmistakable offworld sound design, this release reframes Christmas through a darker cosmic lens. It’s festive… but from a timeline where the stars sing back.

Celldweller Ignites a New Era with “Fakebreaker” 💀

The legendary producer returns after nearly five years with an apocalyptic fusion of industrial metal and electronic chaos.

⚡ Explosive Comeback
After years of silence on the vocal front, Celldweller — the brainchild of multi-genre mastermind Klayton — has re-emerged with a thunderous new single, “Fakebreaker.” This marks his first full-vocal release in nearly five years, and it’s a sonic firestorm that blends industrial metal, electronic rock, and cinematic bass energy into one devastating package.

Teaming up with dark-bass producer SWARM and vocalist/producer REEBZ, Celldweller delivers a soundscape that’s part cybernetic warfare, part emotional exorcism. Expect thunderous guitars, mechanical grooves, and distorted synths that explode into a dystopian frenzy.

🎛 The Story Behind the Sound
Klayton revealed that the project began unexpectedly:

“A 303 acid bassline and a breakbeat… this was a demo for my project FreqGen. While building my new studio, ‘Fakebreaker’ developed into a monster.”

As the track evolved, he enlisted REEBZ for her fierce vocal layering and SWARM for his retro-infused dark electronic textures. The collaboration created a high-impact track that merges three creative visions into one unstoppable sonic juggernaut.

💥 Cinematic Visuals & Future Vision
Accompanying the single is a video game-inspired visual where Klayton and REEBZ navigate a neon-drenched digital battlefield — a chaotic visual extension of the track’s post-apocalyptic themes. The release also teases the next phase of Celldweller’s evolution, rumored to build toward his upcoming “God Mode” EP under FiXT.

For long-time fans, this is more than a comeback — it’s a resurgence. For new listeners, it’s a warning shot: Celldweller is still the architect of industrial revolution in modern electronic music.

Flesh Field Unveils Remastered Single ‘Allegiance’ Ahead of Belief Control Reissue

The US electro-industrial act Flesh Field, led by founder Ian Ross, has just released a new single, “Allegiance.” This 2025 remastered version of the song is a taste of the forthcoming reissue of the group’s second album, Belief Control, which is set for release on October 31, 2025, via Metropolis Records.

This remastered version of “Allegiance” continues the momentum of Flesh Field’s resurrection. The group returned to the scene in 2023 with the new album Voice Of The Echo Chamber, followed by the Voice Of Reason EP in early 2024. In June 2025, they reissued a remastered version of their 1999 debut, Viral Extinction, as part of Metropolis Records’ plan to re-release the entire back catalog.

Originally released in 2001, Belief Control solidified Flesh Field’s status in the electro-industrial scene with its bombastic symphonic elements and intricate programming. After a hiatus that lasted nearly two decades, the band’s music remained relevant, appearing in TV shows like True Blood and video games like Project Gotham Racing.

BEYOND THE BLACK Teams Up with LORD OF THE LOST on New Single, Announces Upcoming Album, Releases Music Video

Symphonic metal sensation BEYOND THE BLACK is excited to share the third single from their eagerly awaited upcoming studio album, Break The Silence, which is set to be released on January 9, 2026, via Nuclear Blast Records.

The emotional anthem ‘The Art Of Being Alone’ features none other than Chris Harms of acclaimed German metal band Lord Of The Lost on guest vocals. The song deals with important contemporary issues such as mental health, self-empowerment, and positive life perception. A compelling video has also been released alongside the single, illustrating the feeling of being alone and cornered while ultimately showing a path to self-awareness and a way out of this mental prison.

Singer Jennifer Haben commented, “‘The Art Of Being Alone’ is one of the most emotional songs for us since it‘s born from personal battles and quiet reflections. We wanted it to be fragile and powerful at the same time and we believe many of you will find your own story between its lines. Having Chris Harms join us with his uniquely intense voice and personality felt absolutely perfect and brought a depth to this track that made it even more special.”

Chris Harms (Lord Of The Lost) added, “This duet was long overdue! For more than 10 years now, LORD OF THE LOST and BEYOND THE BLACK have been crossing paths — we like and appreciate each other and it was kind of obvious that Jenny’s and my voices would work great together. Now we’ve finally made it happen and created this powerful, goosebump-inducing song together! I’m really happy about it!”

BEYOND THE BLACK’s sixth full-length album, Break The Silence, is a concept album rooted in melodic metal with ethno influences. It explores themes of communication, inner strength, resilience, and the urgent need to reconnect in a divided world. Tracks like ‘Let There Be Rain’, ‘(La Vie Est Un) Cinéma’, ‘Ravens’, and ‘The Flood’ examine how words – and their absence – shape our reality. It is an emotional, multi-layered experience that mirrors today’s complex world and invites fans to be part of this new chapter.

  2. Break The Silence
  3. The Art Of Being Alone (feat. Lord Of The Lost)

SpanktheNUN Declassifies New Project, BLAK

Industrial music provocateurs spankthenun have released a new project titled BLAK, which they are presenting not as a traditional album but as a “declassified sonic dossier.” The release is framed as an urgent advisory to the public, warning of an “imminent data release” detailing a phenomenon described as a subculture unified by a stark, dark aesthetic.

The band states that the project is a deep-field study into a “memetic contagion” and that the tracks themselves are “stabilizations” of data. These sonic interpretations include “The Singularity Edit,” which represents an act of separation from the mainstream, and “The Event Horizon Edit,” which explores the boundary of this subculture. A third track, “The Absolute Zero Rendition,” captures what the band calls the sound of “elegant, defiant isolation.”

In a statement, the band acknowledged their role in the phenomenon, saying, “We were not composing; we were documenting a memetic contagion…This release is a warning, an invitation, and a confession. We are all part of the experiment now.”

BLAK is now available on all major streaming platforms, with exclusive versions offered on their Bandcamp page.

BLAK is a chilling and atmospheric release that pushes the boundaries of industrial music, delivering a soundscape that is both immersive and unsettling. The project’s unique conceptual framing as a government-style data release adds to its intrigue and artistic weight. It is a must-listen for fans of industrial, darkwave, and experimental electronic music.

🎧🎶 New Music Alert: METROLAND, SYNAPSYCHE, and ELEKTROSTAUB Unleash New EPs! 🎧

Get ready for a triple dose of electronic goodness as METROLAND, SYNAPSYCHE, and ELEKTROSTAUB drop their latest EPs, each offering a unique sonic journey!

METROLAND – Reset EP

With “Reset,” Belgian conceptual techno-pop duo METROLAND delivers the fourth and final EP from their well-received album Forum. Inspired by the controversial World Economic Forum initiative, The Great Reset, this digital release marks not just the end of an EP cycle, but the culmination of METROLAND’s sonic exploration of global industrial evolution.

Anchored in critical reflection and forward-thinking beats, “Reset” offers two new versions of the original track: the compact yet dynamic “The Smaller Reset,” and its expansive, club-ready counterpart “The Greater Reset”—both infused with increased tempo and dancefloor energy. Adding further depth, the exclusive non-album track “Improving the State of the World” blends pop sensibility with pointed commentary, echoing the WEF’s aspirational slogans while inviting listeners to consider the implications of global decision-making. “Reset” is more than just a release—it is the final destination in METROLAND’s conceptual journey, closing the loop that began with “0” and reached its climax in “Forum.” The system is shutting down… ready for a reset?

SYNAPSYCHE – Muteness EP

After the sonic shockwave of “Deafness,” SYNAPSYCHE raises the stakes with “Muteness”—the second piece in their three-part concept around “Miscommunication,” dissecting the fear of self-expression in a world that rewards silence over truth. Some people never speak up. They sit on the sidelines, afraid to take a stand, blending into the background to maintain their fragile social acceptance. But silence is complicity. And SYNAPSYCHE is here to shatter the quiet with a firestorm of brutal beats, razor-sharp synths, and vocals that swing between venomous growls, electrifying clean hooks, and even a touch of rap-infused aggression. This explosive EP is backed by a dark-pop rework of FLEETWOOD MAC’s “Little Lies” and a ruthless remix of “Anti Manifesto” by STATIK SEKT—two reinventions that push the band’s boundaries even further. No more hiding. No more hesitation. Shut your muteness up and scream with SYNAPSYCHE!

ELEKTROSTAUB – Falling EP

ELEKTROSTAUB is back with “Falling”—an irresistible future pop anthem destined to ignite dancefloors. For this striking new single, mastermind Patrick Knoch teams up with none other than synthpop icon Pal Magnus Rybom of ECHO IMAGE. The result is pure electropop magic—an instant classic where sharp production meets soaring melodies! Serving as a first taste of the forthcoming album Humility, this 7-track EP doesn’t stop at just one hit. It also features “Too Far From The Pack,” a high-energy collaboration with Salva Maine (CULTURE KULTÜR), oozing club potential and emotional impact. The EP comes packed with a powerful selection of remixes by fellow Alfa Matrix artists: IMPLANT, NEUROACTIVE, 808 DOT POP, DARKNESS ON DEMAND, and remix maestro PEOPLE THEATRE—each offering a unique twist on ELEKTROSTAUB’s signature sound. With “Falling,” ELEKTROSTAUB reaffirms his knack for blending sleek production with the perfect guest vocalist. This is premium-grade future pop – emotional, melodic, and made to move you.

🎧🎶 HOCICO Unleashes New Single “Brainrot”! 🎧

Mexico’s electro-industrial juggernauts HOCICO once again plunge into the dystopian psyche of the digital era. Erk Aicrag and Racso Agroyam return with a visceral, unrelenting track that strips away the glossy veneer of online life and exposes the rot festering beneath.

If The Screen was a direct attack on the anonymity of internet cruelty, “Brainrot” dives even deeper, capturing the suffocating grip of algorithmic addiction. It’s a grotesque ballet of dopamine, dependency, and despair, screamed through Erk’s searing vocals and wrapped in Racso’s hellish production.

Musically, “Brainrot” marks a bold evolution in Hocico’s sound. Infused with aggressive drum and bass influences, it hits with a hyperkinetic energy that feels both chaotic and meticulously controlled. The track seamlessly fuses this rhythmic onslaught with the duo’s signature industrial brutality and aggrotech venom, creating a sound that feels both fresh and devastatingly familiar. This is not a trend-following experiment—it’s a fully weaponized Hocico beatdown, sharpened for the digital battlefield.

From the very first line, “Plug me in, I’m a slave to the screen,” the listener is dragged into a world where identity, free will, and humanity are systematically dismantled by our tech overlords. The lyrics are a cyberpunk confession: raw, paranoid, and disturbingly accurate. Lines like “I dance for the likes, I bleed for the views” hit like gut punches, capturing the performance anxiety and manufactured existence many experience but few dare to articulate.

The chorus, an unrelenting chant of “Brainrot!”, becomes a war cry and a diagnosis all at once. Each repetition digs deeper into the madness, like a virus rewriting the code of the self. The distorted synths and glitchy textures reflect the chaos of a mind being rewired for engagement, not meaning.

Hocico doesn’t just critique digital culture—they drag its corpse onto the stage, expose its entrails, and make you dance with it. The track’s final verse, “Now I’m the king of nothing but brainrot!”, isn’t just a lyric, it’s a warning: the more we feed the machine, the more it devours us.

With “Brainrot,” Hocico once again proves they are not just musicians but prophets of a dying age, screaming from the edge of digital oblivion. This isn’t just music, it’s a mirror. And you won’t like what you see.

HEADLESS Unveils New Single “Weightless” Ahead of Upcoming Album ‘Transitional Objects’

European progressive hard rock outfit HEADLESS has returned with their latest single, “Weightless,” available now on all streaming and download platforms. Fans can also watch the animated music video directed by Dime Stamenov (Sabaton, Uriah Heep, Saxon) HERE.

A Preview of ‘Transitional Objects’

“Weightless” serves as the first glimpse into HEADLESS’ forthcoming album, ‘Transitional Objects,’ set for release in late summer 2025. Mastered by Ted Jensen (Dream Theater, Metallica), the track encapsulates the band’s signature fusion of intricate guitar work, dynamic rhythms, and soaring melodic vocals.

Guitarist Walter Cianciusi describes the single as “a hyper-prog song” filled with complex rhythmic textures and a deeply personal lyrical theme:

“This single delivers a brand-new level of complexity. It’s a hyper-progressive song where the rhythm section creates an intricate tapestry at the limits of human performance. At the same time, the vocal melody remains smooth and uplifting, narrating the growing bond between a father and son.”

He further explains that the new album is:

“A no-frills heavy release featuring eight solid prog songs that mark the absolute peak of HEADLESS’ career. We achieved a level of chemistry and craftsmanship that will likely remain unparalleled in future releases.”

A Legacy of Excellence in Hard Rock and Progressive Metal

One of the defining elements of HEADLESS’ sound is the unmistakable voice of Göran Edman, the Swedish singer renowned for his work with Yngwie Malmsteen, John Norum, Vinnie Vincent, Madison, Swedish Erotica, Glory, Karmakanic, and many more.

Formed in 1996 by cousins Walter (guitars) and Enrico Cianciusi (drums), the band initially released ‘Future to Past’ (1996) and ‘Inside You’ (1998) before disbanding in 2000. Walter later revived the project in 2011 with a fresh lineup, incorporating elements of progressive metal, melodic rock, and AOR-style choruses.

The band’s comeback album ‘Growing Apart’ (2013) featured Queensrÿche’s Scott Rockenfield on drums, followed by ‘Melt the Ice Away’ (2016) (featuring Jim Matheos of Fates Warning). Their 2021 release, ‘Square One’, marked their debut with M-Theory Audio and introduced bassist Martin Helmantel (Elegy), further strengthening their sound.

Till Lindemann Unleashes New Solo Single “Meine Welt” Ahead of 2025 Tour

Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann has released his latest solo single, “Meine Welt”, marking a bold and thought-provoking addition to his growing catalog of solo work. Initially launched digitally on December 20, 2024, the single has now been made available in physical formats as of March 14, 2025, through Out of Line Music.

“Meine Welt” (translated as My World) showcases Lindemann’s signature deep, commanding vocals paired with an intense, cinematic arrangement. The track dives into themes of personal identity, defiance, and resilience, reinforcing his reputation as one of the most expressive and provocative artists in modern German music.

A Sonic and Visual Statement

The single arrives alongside a visually striking music video that reflects Lindemann’s dark, avant-garde artistic vision. With haunting imagery and cryptic symbolism, the video echoes the song’s theme of constructing one’s own reality despite external pressures.

“Meine Welt” was composed by German musician Nicolas Ludwig and produced with a distinct fusion of industrial rock, orchestral elements, and electronic flourishes. Its release comes at a pivotal moment in Lindemann’s career, following a turbulent period of public scrutiny, which the song appears to confront head-on.

A Special Edition Release

Fans can now purchase “Meine Welt” in multiple physical formats, including:

  • Standard CD Single
  • Limited Edition Picture Minimax CD
  • 7-Inch Vinyl (Regular and Limited Edition Picture Vinyl)

These collectible versions highlight the track’s stark and confrontational aesthetic, with cover art featuring “Kill Till” spelled in Cyrillic, an apparent reference to past controversies.

A Remix from Avenged Sevenfold’s Zacky Vengeance

Adding a unique twist to the single, Lindemann enlisted Zacky Vengeance of Avenged Sevenfold to craft an exclusive remix of “Meine Welt,” injecting a fresh, aggressive dimension into the track. The collaboration merges Lindemann’s theatrical style with Vengeance’s hard-hitting guitar work, creating an electrifying reinterpretation.

The “Meine Welt” Tour: A Grand Spectacle Awaits

The release of “Meine Welt” sets the stage for Lindemann’s highly anticipated Meine Welt Tour 2025, kicking off on October 29, 2025, in Leipzig, Germany. The extensive tour will see Lindemann perform across multiple European cities, delivering his signature mix of industrial metal, theatrical storytelling, and boundary-pushing performances.
