🖤 Swedish electronic pioneers COVENANT have released the deeply moving Andreas EP, a heartfelt five-song tribute to their late bandmate Andreas Catjar-Danielsson (March 3, 1973 – July 29, 2024). Known for his creative brilliance and contribution to the band’s distinctive sound, Andreas’ legacy continues to resonate through this powerful collection.
✨ The EP serves not only as a musical homage but also as an act of compassion — all proceeds from the Andreas EP will go directly to support Andreas’ wife and children. In an admirable gesture of solidarity, Dependent Records has waived all label profits from the vinyl release, ensuring every purchase directly benefits his family.
🎧 Musically, the Andreas EP channels Covenant’s signature blend of emotional depth and electronic sophistication, carrying traces of melancholy and resilience. It’s a sonic reflection of love, loss, and the unbreakable bonds formed through music. Each track feels like a conversation with the past — an elegy written in synths and silence.
🔥 The EP is now available on all major digital and streaming platforms. Fans and supporters can make a meaningful difference simply by listening or purchasing a copy.
🕸️ The queen of dark allure, Izzy Reign, returns just in time for spooky season with her chilling new cover of “People Are Strange.” Known for blending cinematic goth energy with raw emotion, Izzy transforms the classic song into a shadowy, seductive experience perfect for the Halloween atmosphere.
🎃 “Enjoy my newest addition to my annual Halloween covers — People Are Strange. Happy Spooky Season!” Izzy shared, continuing her tradition of reimagining iconic tracks through her own eerie, enchanting lens.
🔥 This haunting rendition channels the mysterious spirit of the original while weaving in Izzy’s signature ethereal vocals and moody production — a darkwave dreamscape where melancholy meets magic. Whether you’re lighting candles or dancing under the full moon, “People Are Strange” is the perfect soundtrack for the season.
🔥 The fusion of metal and electronic music has a new apex predator — The Browning have dropped their latest single, “EVOLVE,” through FiXT, and it’s a brutal showcase of human endurance, transformation, and defiance against stagnation. Fronted by visionary Jonny McBee, the track represents a continuation of The Browning’s signature cyber-metal hybrid, pushing their aggressive sound to new, futuristic heights.
💥 “EVOLVE” hits with mechanical precision — blending deathcore breakdowns, industrial pulse, and apocalyptic synths that mirror both the chaos and promise of modern existence. Lyrically, the song captures the struggle to grow in a collapsing world, reminding listeners that pain and persistence are catalysts for true evolution. It’s not just a single — it’s an anthem for anyone refusing to stay static in the face of destruction.
🎧 Produced and engineered by McBee himself, the track balances machine-like brutality with cinematic atmosphere, creating a soundscape that’s both punishing and uplifting. Longtime fans will recognize The Browning’s unmistakable energy, but “EVOLVE” also signals a sharper, more refined sonic direction that could define their next era.
🔥 Since their 2011 debut Burn This World, The Browning have remained a force in the industrial metal scene, uniting EDM, hardcore, and cyberpunk aesthetics into something uniquely their own. “EVOLVE” reaffirms their legacy — and hints at a possible new album that could take their sound even deeper into the digital abyss.

The legendary Icon of Coil return with a remastered reissue of their groundbreaking debut, Serenity Is The Devil, marking 25 years since the album that helped define the futurepop and EBM movement.
“This digitally enhanced remaster sounds slicker and still has that heady EBM vibe their fans covet and the band are famous for, with accessible, melodic and brooding vocals.” — Devolution
“One of the most influential acts in the dark electronic genre, with vibes of a souped-up Bauhaus or Peter Murphy on acid.” — Penny Black Music
“This release will transport you to the year 2000! An incomparable sound that conjures up memories of dance-through nights and one’s own youth.” — Orkus

Today, darkwave and synthpop powerhouse Brittany Bindrim drops her new full-length Counterpoison, a record that radiates cinematic tension, propulsive beats, and raw emotion. This latest release marks a fierce, faster-paced evolution from her 2024 debut Velella Velella, diving headfirst into the shadows of duality, resistance, and renewal.
🔥 A Transformation Through Sound At its core, Counterpoison is a story of transformation — an antidote for the toxins that corrode us both personally and collectively. The album embodies the concept of art as alchemy, turning pain, betrayal, and societal decay into fuel for empowerment and rebirth.
🎛 Sonic Craftsmanship Written and performed by Bindrim herself, the album was produced and mixed by Matt McJunkins (A Perfect Circle, Puscifer, Eagles of Death Metal, Poppy) and mastered by Ken “Hiwatt” Marshall. The result? A visceral, high-voltage soundscape pulsing with cinematic grandeur and industrial precision.

Electro-industrial and synth-pop icon Assemblage 23 — the project of Tom Shear — returns with “Believe,” the powerful new single from the upcoming album Null, out November 7th, 2025 via Metropolis Records.
✨ Finding Light in the Static “This song is about believing that there is hope for better things, even with the state of the world as it is today,” explains Shear. “We are responsible for making the kind of world we live in. In the face of bad times, sometimes the most subversive thing you can do is have hope.”
“Believe” marks the second single from Null — Assemblage 23’s tenth studio album and the long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s Mourn. The record also features the recent single “Tolerate” and showcases Shear’s trademark fusion of melodic precision, emotional resonance, and electronic craftsmanship that has defined his two-decade legacy in the dark electronic scene.
💀 Legacy of Innovation and Emotion Since emerging with Contempt at the turn of the millennium, Assemblage 23 has remained a defining force in futurepop, breaking from European dominance with emotionally charged songwriting and razor-sharp production. Shear’s lyrics — often touching on themes of loss, depression, resilience, and hope — have built a deeply loyal following and continue to resonate across generations of listeners.
British industrial/EBM visionary ESA has unveiled Pound of Flesh, a three-part music film drawn from his latest album, Sounds for Your Happiness, released July 5th via Negative Gain Productions.
🎬 Watch “Pound of Flesh” here:YouTube 💽 Order Sounds for Your Happiness: Bandcamp
🔥 A Vision of Darkness and Redemption Filmed across Bangkok, Thailand, and Manchester, UK, Pound of Flesh marks ESA’s most ambitious visual journey yet. Starring Tan Toafa Maneepasopchock (Gotham, Oceans 10) and Panita Hutacharern, alongside a cast of Thai actors, the film weaves a story of torment, astral projection, and spiritual decay.
The narrative follows a soul plagued by inner demons who learns to leap between bodies through astral projection—only to discover that pain cannot be escaped, merely transferred. As madness spreads through each new vessel, the demons close in, leading to an explosive exorcism sequence that blurs the line between spiritual horror and industrial art.
🎞️ A Sonic and Visual Obsession Blacker describes Pound of Flesh as both “a powerful narrative experience” and “a love letter to Thailand,” a country that has deeply influenced his creative evolution. The film’s haunting visuals pair perfectly with ESA’s grinding, genre-defying soundtrack—a fusion of EBM, industrial, black metal, dark ambient, punk, techno, and power noise.
As ESA declares:
“I’m moving into the place between the walls you made for me.”
⚡ About the Album — Sounds for Your Happiness A ferocious blend of chaos and catharsis, Sounds for Your Happiness channels everything from Gesaffelstein to Godflesh, Ulver, and Pitchshifter, crafting a brutal electronic odyssey that’s both punishing and euphoric.

The Beast In You prowls through the depths of human emotion — confronting the duality within us all. It’s a sonic exploration of instinct, fear, and control, set to throbbing basslines, haunting synths, and hypnotic vocals. This is ULTRA SUNN at their most visceral and cinematic, balancing aggression and elegance in a perfectly controlled storm of sound.
The digital decay continues as OneZeroCypher unleashes their latest dark electronic opus, Fractured Memories, out now through DSBP Records. This release dives deep into the psychological breakdown of memory, emotion, and machine consciousness—where industrial rhythms grind against cybernetic despair.
Fusing elements of EBM, dark electro, and technoid distortion, Fractured Memories captures the essence of post-human reflection. It’s an auditory labyrinth where logic fails, identity fractures, and the cold pulse of machinery becomes the only heartbeat left. Every track feels like a corrupted data fragment—echoing pain, resistance, and resurrection within the circuitry.

Expect a relentless journey through heavy low-end, neon-lit atmospheres, and pulse-pounding rhythm designed to make bodies move.
🌀 The Sound of Outliers
Carter’s latest is a fusion of Techno, Dark Electro, Industrial Bass, and Cyberpunk energy, shot through with flashes of his signature Trance and Futurepop elements. The result is an album that feels equally at home in underground raves, cyberpunk soundtracks, and the high-voltage chaos of the modern industrial scene.

Philadelphia’s industrial sludge metal insurgents WORST ONES have returned with a brutal new single and video, Deny Reality—a sonic assault that cuts through willful ignorance with venom, distortion, and uncompromising heaviness.
⚡ Claustrophobic & Hypnotic Sound Deny Reality channels the bleak pulse of Godflesh, the twisted hooks of Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, and the sample-driven chaos of Skinny Puppy. Built on relentless electronic percussion and skittering hi-hats that slice through layers of noise loops, the track morphs shredded guitars into inhuman fragments. A towering chorus rises above the chaos, before a crushing breakdown drags the listener into sludge-drenched oblivion.
💀 Lyrical Warfare Against Ignorance At its core, Deny Reality confronts the culture of willful blindness that has metastasized into complicity. With lyrics like “Cast out your empathy, behold your tragedy” and “My nightmares are dreams, you deny reality,” the track attacks the toxic refusal to see truth—an ignorance that sustains violence and accelerates collapse. It’s not an escape—it’s the very engine of destruction.
🔥 Noise as Resistance The track will also appear on Abolish ICE, a Philadelphia-based compilation featuring 16 local metal, hardcore, and punk bands—including Trunk, L.M.I., Sunrot, Boozewa, SOJI, Detox Meds, and Get Well. Copies are available in exchange for donations to Juntos, a community-led Latine immigrant rights organization. With this, WORST ONES transform their sound into protest—turning distortion into direct action, and noise into a weapon of resistance.
🎛️ Behind the Sound Deny Reality was written and recorded by Drew Ew and Doppelganga, mixed and mastered by Jared Birdseye, with visuals directed by WORST ONES and Luz Sanchez. Promo photography by Luz Sanchez, live photography by Vinny Barreras, cover and logo design by Drew Ew (with “deathmetallogo” by Darren Adcock).
Industrial noise entity VERFÜHRERVERGELTER has just dropped their latest transmission, Post-Void / Pre-Body—a release that blurs the line between collapse and rebirth, silence and circuitry, decay and resurrection.
⚡ A Harsh Emission from the In-Between The release arrives as five sonic bursts described as “transmitted from the primordial soup of decomposed flesh and corroded PCBs.” Post-Void / Pre-Body is not crafted as a soundtrack or a traditional soundscape—it’s a raw dissection, an exposed noise corpus stitched together from tissue, glitches, and electronic residue.
💀 Between Rot and Simulation With each track, VERFÜHRERVERGELTER drags the listener through liminal corridors:
Between shutdown and reboot.
Between rot and simulation.
Between meaning and total refusal.
The result is a chaotic yet strangely autonomic pulse—harsh noise refusing narrative, rejecting closure, and leaving behind only corrupted fragments.
🔥 The Artist Speaks in Transmission As VERFÜHRERVERGELTER declares:
“Every transmission is a scream. But no one remembers how to listen. Corruption complete. Still leaking… No closure. No cleanse.”
Arizona’s extreme metal juggernaut SOULFLY is back with fire in their veins, releasing the crushing new single “Nihilist” alongside a visually searing music video. The track, which features Todd Jones of NAILS, is the latest glimpse into the band’s upcoming thirteenth album CHAMA, set to arrive October 24th, 2025 via Nuclear Blast Records.
🎶 Raw Aggression, Tribal Fury
“Nihilist” embodies everything fans love about Soulfly—tribal grooves, bludgeoning riffs, and unapologetic ferocity—while pushing their legacy forward. Produced by Zyon Cavalera, the song is a generational collaboration that sharpens Soulfly’s sonic blade with modern intensity.
Directed by Costin Chioreanu, the video was filmed in Bulgaria and drenched in apocalyptic imagery that perfectly matches the track’s brutal energy. Watch here.
Max Cavalera explains:
“My lyrics are inspired by LG of Entombed and Nihilist. He left this earth in 2021 and was always a big influence on me. This is one of the heaviest songs on the record, and I love that Todd Jones came in and delivered the hardest line on the record: ‘I don’t believe in anything!’”
Guitarist Mike De Leon adds:
“From the depths of the deepest tribes, we bring you the new Soulfly. This being my first official video ever with the guys is a complete honor. Crank it up and start the living room mosh pits!”

Led by Nick Thériault and Jairus Khan, Antigen Shift carve out their signature sound—an electrifying hybrid of industrial noise, dark EBM, and cinematic textures. Superheavy Particle is one of their most ambitious works to date, fusing tense atmospheres, glitch-laced rhythms, and distorted electronics into a sonic force that is both visceral and immersive.
A recent teaser offers a glimpse of the album’s soundscape, showcasing Antigen Shift’s ability to balance chaos and control with masterful precision.
Formed in the early 2000s, Antigen Shift began as Thériault’s solo project before Khan joined, transforming the act into a formidable duo. Since then, they’ve reissued classic albums like Brotherhood and dropped powerful new singles including “Because I Want,” further cementing their place in the global industrial/electronic underground.
Known for their thunderous live sets, Antigen Shift has performed at international festivals such as Machinenfest, Kinetik, and Convergence, where they translate studio complexity into ferocious, floor-shaking energy.

US drummer, multi-instrumentalist, and electronic alchemist Rona Rougeheart returns with her project SINE, unveiling the brand-new single “Succumb To Me” via Metropolis Records on September 26, 2025.
🎶 Industrial Meets Dirty Disco
Co-produced alongside Curse Mackey (Pigface) and mastered by Mark Pistel (Consolidated, Meat Beat Manifesto), “Succumb To Me” blends industrial grit, dirty disco grooves, and seismic sub-bass into what Rougeheart defines as her signature style: electronic boom.
Rougeheart explains: “While working on my next album, I decided to start something fresh just for fun. I anchored the track around two deep synth bass hits that pan left and right for a surround sound feel—especially in headphones. The lyrics practically wrote themselves, cheeky and a little sinister, with a dash of sex appeal. It’s one of my favorite SINE tracks to date.”
🌑 Momentum Rising
SINE officially joined the Metropolis Records roster in 2024 with the single “Trauma Bondage.” Since then, Rougeheart has been steadily building momentum—touring North America with Void Palace and Clan of Xymox, and recently performing at Cold Waves XIII in her hometown of Austin on September 19, 2025. Work is already underway on a full-length album expected in 2026.
🎶 Listen Now:

Flint, Michigan’s most notorious heavy outfit King 810 have unleashed their latest single “I Don’t Mind”, another brutal preview of their upcoming record Rustbelt Numetal 2, set for release on October 31, 2025.
🩸 Raw Violence Meets Vulnerability
“I Don’t Mind” continues King 810’s uncompromising tradition of fusing crushing nu-metal riffs with David Gunn’s visceral, narrative-driven vocal delivery. The track balances moments of raw aggression with hauntingly melodic undertones, showing once again why the band is both feared and revered within the modern metal scene.
🏭 Forged in the Rustbelt
Like its predecessor, Rustbelt Numetal 2 was recorded in a single day in front of a live studio audience of just 45 people, capturing the unfiltered chaos, immediacy, and street-born energy that defines King 810. The new record promises to dive even deeper into the band’s gritty storytelling and industrial Midwest atmosphere, amplifying their reputation as one of the most dangerous and authentic acts in heavy music.
Industrial innovator Author & Punisher (aka Tristan Shone) has released the third and final single, “Titmouse”, ahead of his highly anticipated new album Nocturnal Birding, arriving October 3, 2025 via Relapse Records.
🖤 A Sonic Trek Through Fatigue & Survival
“Titmouse” is one of Shone’s most intricate compositions to date—layering pounding machine rhythms, dense synths, mechanical guitars, and guttural vocals into what he describes as a “topographical trek.” Lyrically, the track confronts the mental and physical exhaustion of migration, evoking the relentless endurance demanded when traversing vast landscapes with minimal supplies.
Shone explains: “‘Titmouse’ pushes me technically and physically as a performer. It’s a grueling track that mirrors the struggles it’s inspired by, carrying the listener through waves of exhaustion and perseverance.”
🐦 Birds as Blueprints
Much of Nocturnal Birding takes direct inspiration from avian life, with riffs, rhythms, and melodies drawn from the tonal patterns of actual bird calls. Earlier singles like “Titanis” and “Thrush” showcased this unique sonic methodology, while “Titmouse” pushes the concept further—transforming birdsong into industrial weaponry.

Industrial chaos-agent Caustic has officially unleashed FIEND II into the world — no teasers, no countdowns, just pure shock-and-drop energy. Known for breaking rules and burning convention to the ground, Caustic once again flips the script with an album release that comes screaming straight from the underground.
⚡ The Sudden Drop
In true Caustic fashion, the announcement came raw and unfiltered:
“F–K IT! Let’s get this out. FIEND II is released! I’m sick of waiting. Thanks to everyone who preordered, and enjoy the album.”
That’s it — no PR gloss, no delay, just a direct hit from Caustic’s sonic arsenal.
🔥 The Sound of FIEND II
The first FIEND installment was already a snarling beast, and FIEND II doesn’t just pick up where it left off — it tears open new wounds. Expect pulverizing beats, searing distortion, and Caustic’s trademark venom, balancing between brutal catharsis and electronic anarchy.
Two underground heavyweights — Daniel McCullough of Silver Walks and Athan Maroulis of NØIR — have joined forces for a chilling reinterpretation of Cyberaktif’s legendary Wax Trax! classic “Nothing Stays.” This haunting cover marks the first new material from either project in quite some time, and it’s every bit as dark, layered, and timely as you’d hope.
🕸 A Collaboration Across Continents
True to its name, “Nothing Stays” embodies the fractured, borderless world we live in. Not a single artist involved was ever in the same room.
Athan Maroulis tracked vocals in New York City.
Valentina Veil (VV & The Void) added ethereal backing vocals from Berlin.
Daniel McCullough programmed the music in Lancaster, PA.
The single was mixed in Los Angeles by Dan Evans (Die Warzau).
Finally, it was mastered by Eric Oehler (KLACK) in Madison, WI.
The result? A globe-spanning collaboration that still feels like it was conjured in one shadowy, smoke-filled studio.
🔥 The EP & Remixes
Alongside the main track, the EP comes armed with beat-heavy, floor-destroying remixes courtesy of S Y Z Y G Y X, genCAB, and KLACK — each pushing the song into fresh, pulsing territory for DJs and dark music devotees alike.
Released via the Pittsburgh-based Distortion Productions, “Nothing Stays” is now available across all major digital and streaming platforms.
Blvsphemy Records has dropped a sinister new release, giving Biocarbon13’s “Wrong Shade of Black” a fresh, venomous twist courtesy of Arzenik. This remix plunges deeper into the industrial void, layering distortion, menace, and pounding rhythms that drag you into its dark embrace.
⚡ The Remix Experience
Arzenik injects an entirely new pulse into the track, amplifying its bleak atmospherics while keeping Biocarbon13’s raw intensity intact. The remix twists familiar shadows into sharper edges — this isn’t just a reimagining, it’s an escalation.
Biocarbon13 has consistently delivered cutting-edge industrial soundscapes, and this collaboration with Blvsphemy Records and Arzenik proves the project’s ability to evolve without compromise. “Wrong Shade of Black (Arzenik Remix)” stands as a testament to dark creativity — unapologetic, abrasive, and impossible to ignore.
