The Browning have officially announced Burn This World [EVOLVED], a reengineered and weaponized evolution of one of their most defining tracks. This isn’t a simple remix or reissue—it’s a full-scale reconstruction designed to hit harder, move faster, and reflect just how far the band’s cyber-metal assault has progressed.
Known for fusing extreme metal brutality with relentless electronic programming, The Browning use [EVOLVED] as both a statement and a warning. The track revisits familiar foundations while amplifying everything—heavier drops, sharper synth architecture, and a modernized sonic core built for today’s dystopian landscape. It’s the sound of a band refusing stagnation, constantly rewriting their own rulebook.
“Burn This World [EVOLVED]” stands as proof that The Browning are not content to live in past victories. Instead, they continue to adapt, mutate, and push their hybrid sound into more aggressive and future-forward territory—where metal, electronics, and chaos collide at full force.
This evolution isn’t about nostalgia. It’s about dominance.
🔥 The fusion of metal and electronic music has a new apex predator — The Browning have dropped their latest single, “EVOLVE,” through FiXT, and it’s a brutal showcase of human endurance, transformation, and defiance against stagnation. Fronted by visionary Jonny McBee, the track represents a continuation of The Browning’s signature cyber-metal hybrid, pushing their aggressive sound to new, futuristic heights.
💥 “EVOLVE” hits with mechanical precision — blending deathcore breakdowns, industrial pulse, and apocalyptic synths that mirror both the chaos and promise of modern existence. Lyrically, the song captures the struggle to grow in a collapsing world, reminding listeners that pain and persistence are catalysts for true evolution. It’s not just a single — it’s an anthem for anyone refusing to stay static in the face of destruction.
🎧 Produced and engineered by McBee himself, the track balances machine-like brutality with cinematic atmosphere, creating a soundscape that’s both punishing and uplifting. Longtime fans will recognize The Browning’s unmistakable energy, but “EVOLVE” also signals a sharper, more refined sonic direction that could define their next era.
🔥 Since their 2011 debut Burn This World, The Browning have remained a force in the industrial metal scene, uniting EDM, hardcore, and cyberpunk aesthetics into something uniquely their own. “EVOLVE” reaffirms their legacy — and hints at a possible new album that could take their sound even deeper into the digital abyss.

Philadelphia’s industrial sludge metal insurgents WORST ONES have returned with a brutal new single and video, Deny Reality—a sonic assault that cuts through willful ignorance with venom, distortion, and uncompromising heaviness.
⚡ Claustrophobic & Hypnotic Sound Deny Reality channels the bleak pulse of Godflesh, the twisted hooks of Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, and the sample-driven chaos of Skinny Puppy. Built on relentless electronic percussion and skittering hi-hats that slice through layers of noise loops, the track morphs shredded guitars into inhuman fragments. A towering chorus rises above the chaos, before a crushing breakdown drags the listener into sludge-drenched oblivion.
💀 Lyrical Warfare Against Ignorance At its core, Deny Reality confronts the culture of willful blindness that has metastasized into complicity. With lyrics like “Cast out your empathy, behold your tragedy” and “My nightmares are dreams, you deny reality,” the track attacks the toxic refusal to see truth—an ignorance that sustains violence and accelerates collapse. It’s not an escape—it’s the very engine of destruction.
🔥 Noise as Resistance The track will also appear on Abolish ICE, a Philadelphia-based compilation featuring 16 local metal, hardcore, and punk bands—including Trunk, L.M.I., Sunrot, Boozewa, SOJI, Detox Meds, and Get Well. Copies are available in exchange for donations to Juntos, a community-led Latine immigrant rights organization. With this, WORST ONES transform their sound into protest—turning distortion into direct action, and noise into a weapon of resistance.
🎛️ Behind the Sound Deny Reality was written and recorded by Drew Ew and Doppelganga, mixed and mastered by Jared Birdseye, with visuals directed by WORST ONES and Luz Sanchez. Promo photography by Luz Sanchez, live photography by Vinny Barreras, cover and logo design by Drew Ew (with “deathmetallogo” by Darren Adcock).

The track balances moments of raw aggression with hauntingly melodic undertones, showing once again why the band is both feared and revered within the modern metal scene.
🏭 Forged in the Rustbelt

A fierce takedown of phonies in every scene—LOCKJAW is calling them all out.
Get ready for another blast of unfiltered aggression—LOCKJAW is back with their seventh single in just eight months, titled “FAKE,” dropping June 17th, 2025.
Fueled by venom and authenticity, “FAKE” is a savage anthem for the real ones—a brutal callout aimed at the plastic personalities, the clout-chasers, the posers in the pit, and the frauds behind the façade. Whether you’re dealing with two-faced friends, hollow musicians, or performative players, this track pulls no punches.
🎙️ “This one’s for the fakes— Fake people, fake friends, fake musicians. The ones who pretend. The ones who copy. The ones who will NEVER be us.”
LOCKJAW’s relentless output has been shaking the underground, and “FAKE” continues their reign of raw honesty and sonic fury.
Crushing riffs and industrial chaos—experience the sonic extinction.
The wait is over: Dirt Factory has just unleashed their latest beast, Biological Annihilation—a relentless blast of mechanical rage and dystopian aggression. Fueled by industrial firepower and apocalyptic intensity, this new release smashes through boundaries with metallic precision and raw fury.
Engineered for total collapse, Biological Annihilation is the soundtrack to societal breakdown—grimy, grinding, and unapologetically brutal. Whether you’re raging in the pit or spiraling into darkness, this is your anthem of the end.

Canadian sludge-noise duo Mares of Thrace are back with another crushing chapter in their journey through sorrow and sonic chaos. Their latest single, “Anticipatory Grief,” is out now, offering a raw and relentless preview of their upcoming full-length record The Loss, due out May 16 via Artoffact Records.
The third track to emerge from The Loss, “Anticipatory Grief” erupts with an ominous guitar riff that spirals into crushing distortion. Thérèse Lanz delivers a feral vocal performance that feels like a cathartic exorcism, while drummer Casey Rodgers smashes forward with thunderous precision. Together, they create a suffocating wall of sound steeped in dread, anxiety, and inevitability.
Lanz explains the meaning behind the song:
“The songs on The Loss follow the sequence of Elisabeth Kübler-Ross’ famous stages of grief, but in my reading I found descriptions of very specific flavors of grief that often go unacknowledged—bonus grief, if you will. Anticipatory Grief is the pain of watching loss creep slowly toward you, knowing it’s coming, and feeling helpless in that long descent.”
Following their previous release, Complicated Grief, this new single continues the band’s emotional excavation through the psychological terrain of mourning and survival. Gritty, visceral, and unapologetically dark, “Anticipatory Grief” is more than a song—it’s a confrontation with pain.
Produced by Scott Evans (Sumac, Sleep, Yautja), The Loss is the band’s fourth full-length and most personal release to date. A thematic reflection on the complex stages of grief, each track dives deeper into human vulnerability and strength. It’s an unflinching gaze into mortality, transformation, and the universality of emotional wreckage.
🔥 About Mares of Thrace
Formed in Canada, Mares of Thrace fuse sludge, doom, noise rock, and hardcore into a pulverizing sound that defies easy categorization. Frontwoman Thérèse Lanz (hailed as “an unrivalled monster of a frontperson” by Exclaim!), and drummer Casey Rodgers (also known for stepping in for Gene Hoglan in Zimmer’s Hole) bring a devastating presence to both stage and studio.
After re-emerging in 2022 with The Exile, the band toured extensively across North America and Europe with heavyweights like Conan, Bell Witch, and KEN mode, all while earning critical acclaim. Now signed to Artoffact Records (Kaelan Mikla, GGGOLDDD), their upcoming album marks their most ambitious evolution yet.

New Album Cross Me Twice Drops March 28th + U.S. Summer Tour Announced! 🎸
The countdown is officially on! Phoenix-based nu-metal powerhouse SICKSENSE is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated debut full-length album, Cross Me Twice, arriving March 28th via Earache Records. As the final taste before the album’s drop, the band has just unveiled their electrifying new single, “Follow Me”, a track packed with raw emotion, crushing riffs, and anthemic melodies.
Co-vocalist Killer V shares the deep meaning behind the track:
“‘Follow Me’ is about two people being together at the wrong place at the wrong time in that point of their lives. It’s a story of realizing and acknowledging that they just aren’t meant to be together. It doesn’t mean they’re bad people, they just aren’t right for each other.
We’re all flawed, we’ve all done or said things we regret. Growth comes from learning from our mistakes, recognizing when we’re wrong, and moving forward.
I love that this is the final track on Cross Me Twice. It doesn’t leave on a positive or negative note—it leaves the future open with possibilities, just like our journey as a band.”
🔥 Cross Me Twice – Out March 28th!
💿 Tracklist: 1️⃣ Sellout 2️⃣ Wildfires 3️⃣ Throwback 4️⃣ Fever Dream 5️⃣ Invisible 6️⃣ On Repeat 7️⃣ Masquerade Parade 8️⃣ In This Carousel 9️⃣ Here Come All The Memories 🔟 Follow Me
From the creative minds of Vicky “Killer V” Psarakis (ex-The Agonist) and Rob The Ripper (Stuck Mojo), SICKSENSE is redefining nu-metal with a fresh, high-energy approach. Featuring Agent Phil (guitar), The Gothfather (bass), and Smokin’ J (drums), the band fuses nu-metal, metalcore, and electronic elements to create a genre-defying sound.
🎵 Listen to previous singles:Wildfires, On Repeat, Masquerade Parade, and In This Carousel.
Killer V on Cross Me Twice:
“Cross Me Twice takes listeners on an emotional rollercoaster. We’ve evolved from our traditional nu-metal roots by incorporating modern metal and electronic elements. The heavy parts got heavier, the soft parts got softer, and the catchy parts got catchier.
We faced challenges while making this album, parting ways with former members and bringing in new ones. Those struggles inspired the lyrics, making this our most personal and powerful record yet.
Working with producer Joey Doherty elevated the record’s sound to the next level, and we believe this will be one of the best-sounding albums of 2025. We poured our hearts into this, and we hope it resonates with our fans just as much as it does with us.”

Portland’s blackened death metal force DROUTH returns this spring with the highly anticipated release of their third full-length album, The Teeth of Time, arriving May 16th via Eternal Warfare Records. Following their critically acclaimed 2020 release Excerpts From a Dread Liturgy, the new record is an unrelenting storm of doom-laden intensity, existential dread, and sonic brutality.
A Manifestation of Torment and Chaos 🖤🔥
DROUTH comments on the upcoming release: “We are proud to present The Teeth of Time, a culmination of several years of blood, sweat, and pain. It is a nightmare made manifest, and we are both eager to share our creative work and grateful to the many people who helped make it possible.”
To mark the album’s announcement, the band has unveiled “False Grail,” a harrowing preview of the hellscape awaiting listeners within The Teeth of Time. First premiered at Invisible Oranges, the track delivers an ominous, suffocating atmosphere that perfectly sets the tone for the album.
Matt Solis on “False Grail”:
“‘False Grail’ was the last song we wrote before entering the studio. It came together relatively quickly based on ideas that Stikker brought in—he had it well fleshed out, but we expanded the closing doom section to really emphasize the dynamic shift in the song. We also knew we wanted string accompaniment, so we had Eva Vonne from Isenordal add mournful viola layers after tracking was completed.”
Matt Stikker on the Song’s Concept:
“Lyrically, the song is a nightmare reflecting the disconnect between the true and projected self, and the increasing tension between those poles that we all experience. The map is not the territory, but when the map prefigures and gradually dictates the territory, our agency is threatened forever.”
