Chicago’s electro-rock quartet, Comasoft, have made a triumphant return with their brand new EP, “Gather at the End,” released on April 25th via Moth in a Flame! The EP features five fresh tracks, including the previously released singles “Numbing” and “Firebomb.”
Produced at BLVM3 Studios in Chicago, “Gather at the End” features founding member Tomasz Banach alongside Ramirez, Christopher Lee, and Chris Cambell. This marks Comasoft’s first new music since 2023’s “Finis Temporis” and 2015’s “Let’s go All the Way” EP.
This new EP is particularly significant as it celebrates the 20th anniversary of their self-titled debut release on Moth in a Flame Records. Over two decades, the band has released two full-length albums, four EPs, and numerous singles, including their college radio hit “10volt.” While band members have evolved, Comasoft continues to deliver a sound that feels both fresh and reminiscent of iconic bands like The Cure, Placebo, and Gary Numan, all wrapped in an 80s neon aesthetic. Ramirez’s new romantic vocals blend seamlessly with powerful synthesizers and sharp guitars.
Gather at the End Tracklisting:
Fire Bomb
Restless Life
Numbing (Perchance)
Deprive
Trapped in a Vial
For those who came of age in Chicago between Generation X and Millennial, Comasoft was a familiar face in the city’s dark, fog-filled clubs, sharing stages with electro-glam contemporaries and supporting major acts like Madina Lake, Hawthorne Heights, Breathe Carolina, The Presets, and Kill Hannah, as well as dark electronic artists such as IAMX, Apoptygma Berzerk, and Stabbing Westward.
Comasoft made their long-awaited return to the stage this past November, opening for a sold-out hometown show with Stabbing Westward. Riding high on the energy of that performance, Jay Ramirez and Comasoft focused on completing their new EP and booking more shows in 2025. Upcoming dates include a headlining show at Cobra Lounge in Chicago on April 25th and supporting EBM legends Leaether Strip in Columbus, Ohio on July 11th. More dates for 2025 are expected to be announced soon.
COMASOFT LIVE DATES 2025:
4/25/2025 Cobra Lounge, Chicago w/ BA Sisters and DJ Leo
7/11/2025 Black Swan Bar and Grill, Columbus w/Leaether Strip and the Stigmas

As the vibrant hues of spring bloom around the Northern Hemisphere, May arrives not only with warmer weather but also with a crucial message: it’s Mental Health Awareness Month. This annual observance provides a vital opportunity to break down stigma, educate our community, and advocate for the well-being of ourselves and those around us.
Mental health is an integral part of our overall health, just as important as physical wellness. It encompasses our emotional, psychological, and social well-being, affecting how we think, feel, and act. Throughout our lives, we all experience challenges that can impact our mental health, and recognizing this shared human experience is the first step towards fostering a supportive environment.
This year’s Mental Health Awareness Month encourages us to engage in open and honest conversations about mental health. Stigma often prevents individuals from seeking help, leaving them to navigate difficulties in isolation. By talking openly about our struggles and listening with empathy to others, we can create a culture where seeking support is seen as a sign of strength, not weakness.
Why is Mental Health Awareness Month Important?
Reduces Stigma: Open discussions help to dispel misconceptions and negative stereotypes associated with mental health conditions.
Increases Understanding: Education about mental health challenges and available resources empowers individuals to recognize symptoms in themselves and others.
Promotes Help-Seeking Behavior: Creating a supportive environment encourages individuals to reach out for support when they need it.
Advocates for Change: Collective awareness can drive policy changes and increased funding for mental health services.
Fosters Community Support: Knowing that others care and understand can make a significant difference in an individual’s recovery journey.
How Can You Participate in Shiloh and Beyond?
Educate Yourself: Take some time this month to learn more about different mental health conditions, their symptoms, and available treatments. Reputable organizations like the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and Mental Health America (MHA) offer a wealth of information.
Start Conversations: Talk openly with your friends, family, and colleagues about mental health. Share your own experiences if you feel comfortable, and actively listen to others.
Be Empathetic: Practice understanding and compassion towards those who may be struggling. Even small gestures of kindness can make a big difference.
Support Local Initiatives: Look for mental health awareness events or initiatives happening in Shiloh and the surrounding areas. Consider volunteering or donating to local mental health organizations.
Share Information Online: Use social media to share informative articles, personal stories, and resources related to mental health awareness. Use relevant hashtags like #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth and #MHAM.
Prioritize Your Own Well-being: Remember that taking care of your own mental health is crucial. Make time for activities that bring you joy, practice mindfulness, and don’t hesitate to seek support if you need it.
This Mental Health Awareness Month, let’s work together to create a community that understands, supports, and prioritizes mental well-being for all. By breaking down the walls of stigma and fostering open conversations, we can empower individuals to seek help and build a healthier, more compassionate society. Let’s make May a month of meaningful change and ongoing support for mental health. 💚

It’s the first single from the upcoming third album “All Messed Up And Nowhere To Go,” due later in 2025. The song is inspired by bands like The Sisters of Mercy, The Mission, Clan of Xymox, and Tiamat.
The music video for “Move On” is directed by Greek photographer Anna Tartaglia, who also directed previous M73 videos.

WHAT IF YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPY? 🤔
Let’s be real for a moment: this whole “pursuit of happiness” thing is getting a tad annoying, right? 🙄 Happiness is everywhere! Instagram reels screaming about “highest vibrations,” ads promising happiness through protein powder and coffin-shaped lamps, and podcasts titled “How To Finally Be Happy (And Make Millions…).” 💸🛋️💊✨ And honestly, does it really work? Not for many, even those who are financially stable and healthy. 🤷♂️ So, the thought arises: what if you’re not supposed to be happy all the time? 🤔 What if that was never the point? 🎯 What if this modern obsession with constant happiness is just another marketing scheme for a life that doesn’t actually exist? 🛍️
Broken GPS 🧭
When Faderhead was 25, the goal was a record deal. ✍️ Got it. Then, it was people at shows. 🚶♂️ Got that too. Then, people singing along. 🎤 Check. And guess what? Faderhead was still the same moody, overthinking, slightly-depressed, alcohol-fueled dude with endless half-finished projects and a mix of genius/garbage ideas. 🤷♂️🍺📝 Happiness, it turned out, was a moving target – and Faderhead was chasing it with a faulty GPS. 😵💫
The Alternative 🕊️
What if peace is better than happiness? 😌 What if “content” is better than “ecstatic”? 😊 What if waking up without dread and sleeping with a calm mind is the real win? 🏆 A few weeks ago, someone much younger asked, “Are you happy?” 🤔 Faderhead’s answer: “No. But I’m at peace with most things. And I’m doing stuff that matters to me.” 🙏 Maybe that quieter space, where work feels meaningful and the mind isn’t at war, is the real destination. 🧘 Getting older helps with this perspective. 👴 At 20, it’s all about “more.” ➕ More stuff, more success, more experiences, more “likes.” 👍 Approaching 50, “less” starts to look like freedom. ➖ Less chaos, less drama, less noise, less bullshit. 🚫 Suddenly, quiet moments, close friends, and doing your own thing without external validation become more appealing. 🤫🤝 And somehow, that feels… good. Solid. Real. A quiet kind of content. 💯
What’s The Goal Then? ➡️
So yeah, maybe you’re not supposed to be happy all the time. 🤔 Maybe you’re supposed to be useful. 🛠️ Maybe you’re supposed to grow through pain instead of avoiding it. 🌱 Maybe life isn’t a 24/7 Disneyland ride, but a well-built road that gets you where you need to go, even if it’s bumpy. 🛣️ And maybe, just maybe, you’re doing better than you think. ❤️ Now stop scrolling for happiness and go do something that actually matters to you. ✨

🎂 Simon Carter Celebrates Birthday with Experimental EP “Arrival”! 🚀
Today is Simon Carter’s birthday, and it’s one of those special ones ending in a ‘0’! 🎉 To thank you for all the incredible support you’ve shown Simon Carter and his projects over the years, Simon Carter wanted to share another free (or pay what you want) release. This one’s a bit different and might not be for everyone, but here are the details:
‘This experimental EP aims to capture the emotions of an epic filmesque electronic sci-fi soundscape. With expansive melodies combined with subtle hints of techno and trance throughout, it’s the perfect soundtrack to explore uncharted frontiers.’ 🌌
Today, three epic forces collide: Diablo®, the legendary Action RPG; Berserk, the iconic manga by Kentaro Miura; and Finnish heavy metal band BEAST IN BLACK! 🤘 They’ve joined forces to unleash ‘Enter The Behelit,’ an exclusive new track! 🎶 The song is available on limited-edition vinyl and digitally worldwide, accompanied by a brand-new music video! 🎬
The Berserk crossover event begins in Diablo® IV on May 6th and in Diablo Immortal on May 1st. Both Diablo and Berserk explore the eternal struggle between good and evil, making this a perfect match for fans! 😈
The Maxi Single 💿
The limited-edition maxi single includes ‘Enter The Behelit,’ a brand-new track inspired by Berserk, plus remastered versions of ‘Die By The Blade’ and ‘The Fifth Angel.’ Beast In Black’s music often mirrors Berserk’s themes of struggle and battling inner demons, a perfect fit for the Diablo universe.
Limited to 200 copies, the vinyl features artwork from Diablo IV and Diablo Immortal, created in collaboration with the Diablo art team and the Berserk IP holders. It also includes a turntable zoetrope slipmat, band stickers, behind-the-scenes photos, and concept art.
“The essence that swells in boundless volumes from the juxtaposition of light and darkness, angels and demons, good and evil, the carnal and the spiritual, is the key that seamlessly binds together the aesthetics and narratives of Diablo, Berserk and Beast In Black’’, said Anton Kabanen, guitarist and songwriter on BEAST IN BLACK.
“To somewhat poetically reflect on this extraordinary yet congruous collaboration I can say it feels almost as if this newborn and destined-to-be trinity has been designed by the God Hand itself. On behalf of Beast In Black’s team I express our sincerest gratitude to the dedicated teams at Blizzard, Berserk and Nuclear Blast. Thank you for making this happen. And finally, my individual acknowledgement and bottomless gratitude goes – as always – to Kentaro Miura’’.
The track is digitally distributed by Nuclear Blast.
The Music Video 🎥
The ‘Enter The Behelit’ music video, directed by Katri Ilona Koppanen, blends the worlds of Diablo, Berserk, and Beast In Black. It features an animated trailer inspired by Diablo and Berserk, bringing the song’s story to life.
A behind-the-scenes “making of” video will also be released.
Berserk Crossover in Diablo Games 🎮
Diablo IV Season 8: Belial’s Return launches on April 29th, bringing back Belial and continuing Diablo’s dark storyline.
Throughout May, Diablo players can acquire Berserk-themed cosmetics, including Berserker armour for the Barbarian, a Skull Knight skin for the Necromancer, and the “Chimimoryo” pet in Diablo IV. Diablo Immortal players can gear up in Guts’ or Griffith’s armour, fight alongside a Golem, and even face off against Nosferatu Zodd.

It’s quite a hard and dark track and surely one of these roller-coaster-feeling songs, like “Rebirth” or “Aidus”, for instance. What we’ve tried when writing this track is to create a song that in itself becomes some kind of a dark entity that comes upon you with the first note of it! Enjoy the ride!”

ELUVEITIE:
ELUVEITIE, formed in 2002 by Chrigel Glanzmann, has consistently merged modern metal with Celtic musical traditions. Originating from the Swiss Alps and deeply rooted in Celtic history, mythology, and spirituality, the band has become a cornerstone of the modern metal scene. Their debut, Vên (2004), set the stage for a unique blend of melodic death metal and traditional folk. Subsequent albums like Slania, Everything Remains (As It Never Was), Helvetios, and Origins solidified their reputation. The acoustic albums Evocation I – The Arcane Dominion and Evocation II – Pantheon showcased their versatility.
In 2022, ELUVEITIE released the singles ‘Aidus’ and ‘Exile of the Gods,’ marking a new chapter in their musical journey and thematical cycle pursuing the lyrical concept opened by their last studio album Ategnatos. These tracks were followed by the announcement of their upcoming album, ÀNV, set for release in April 2025. The first single sfrom this album, ‘Premonition’, and ‘The Prodigal Ones’ has just been unveiled, offering a glimpse into the band’s evolving sound.
Over the years, ELUVEITIE has undergone lineup changes, including their latest addition with Lea-Sophie Fischer on violin in May 2024. Despite these changes, the band’s essence and soul remains untouched. With nine studio albums, numerous tours all around the globe, and headline shows worldwide, ELUVEITIE continues to be a dynamic force in the metal genre.
As they approach the release of ÀNV, ELUVEITIE remains committed to their roots while exploring new musical horizons. Coming as one of their most profound and earnest albums, ÀNV presents a result of more than 20 years of intense involvement with Celtic mythology and spirituality, translating deeply pagan knowledge for a modern generation. ELUVEITIE’s journey reflects a dedication to authenticity and innovation, ensuring their place as a defining presence in modern metal.
