Damage Control and OHMelectronic Cross the “Red Lines” with New EP Pre-Order

Two transcontinental industrial machines collide as Damage Control and OHMelectronic prepare a three-track transmission of mechanical tension, electronic resistance, and uncompromising club energy.

A New Alliance Advances Beyond “Manifesto” 💀

Damage Control and OHMelectronic will release their collaborative EP Red Lines on September 11, 2026, through Metropolis Records. The three-track collection follows “Manifesto,” the alliance’s debut single, which arrived on July 17 and is available immediately with the Bandcamp pre-order.

“Manifesto” introduced the collaboration with nearly six minutes of calculated electro-industrial pressure. Now joined by “Modernity” and the title track, the full EP expands that opening declaration into a tightly concentrated electronic assault.

The title Red Lines immediately suggests boundaries, warnings, and points beyond which retreat is no longer possible. Its stark presentation reinforces that atmosphere: fractured architecture, industrial decay, and scattered red lettering transform the cover into a visual alarm system.

Transcontinental Machinery Crosses the Red Line ⚙️

Formed in 2012, Damage Control operates as a remote international collaboration connecting musicians across Australia, Canada, and beyond. The project includes Bill Barsby, Alex Wise, Richard Thacker, and Craig Joseph Huxtable, alongside an evolving network of contributors from the industrial underground.

OHMelectronic brings together Vancouver electronic veterans Chris Peterson and Craig Joseph Huxtable. Peterson’s extensive history includes work with Front Line Assembly, Noise Unit, Decree, and Delerium, while Huxtable’s background includes Landscape Body Machine and Noise Unit. With Huxtable connecting both projects and Peterson contributing decades of production experience, Red Lines represents a natural collision between two interconnected industrial forces.

The EP’s three-song structure keeps that collaboration compact and deliberate. “Manifesto” establishes its ideological foundation, “Modernity” confronts the machinery and contradictions of contemporary life, and “Red Lines” drives the concept toward its breaking point.

Rather than burying its message beneath unnecessary material, Damage Control and OHMelectronic have constructed a focused statement around rhythm, tension, and confrontation. The result connects classic electro-industrial discipline with modern production engineered for dark rooms, heavy systems, and listeners who prefer their electronics sharpened at the edges.

Metropolis Records will release Red Lines digitally on September 11, 2026. The Bandcamp pre-order is available for $4 or more and includes immediate streaming and download access to “Manifesto,” with the remaining tracks becoming available when the complete EP arrives.

With Red Lines, Damage Control and OHMelectronic are drawing more than boundaries—they are marking the precise point where restraint gives way to resistance. Three tracks, two interconnected projects, and one warning signal are preparing to cut through the industrial underground.

Mentallo & The Fixer Resurrect an Electro-Industrial Landmark with “Where Angels Fear To Tread” Pre-Order

More than three decades after its original arrival, one of Mentallo & The Fixer’s defining records returns through Re Entertainment—expanded digitally and finally making the jump to vinyl.

An Industrial Classic Returns 💀

Re:Mission Entertainment has announced a new 2026 edition of Mentallo & The Fixer’s Where Angels Fear To Tread, bringing the influential electro-industrial album back into circulation with an expanded digital edition and its first-ever vinyl pressing.

Originally released in 1994 through Zoth Ommog, Where Angels Fear To Tread arrived during a defining period for Mentallo & The Fixer. Built around the work of brothers Gary and Dwayne Dassing, the album pushed their increasingly complex electronic machinery into darker and more atmospheric territory, combining abrasive electro-industrial programming with melancholy textures, cinematic sampling and the uncompromising experimentation that became central to the project’s identity.

From 1994 to a First-Ever Vinyl Edition ⚙️

The physical reissue gives collectors something that has been missing for more than 30 years. Where Angels Fear To Tread will receive its vinyl debut as a 2LP gatefold pressed on yellow-and-red inverted splatter vinyl, limited to only 250 copies worldwide.

The vinyl edition collects the original 13 tracks alongside two remixes for 15 tracks total. The gatefold packaging also includes full lyrics and exclusive commentary from Gary Dassing discussing the creation of the record, adding historical context directly from the artist behind it. Vinyl orders are currently estimated to ship November 20.

The digital edition goes considerably further, expanding the album to 20 tracks with seven remixes. It is currently available for pre-order through Bandcamp ahead of its October 16 release across digital platforms.

More than a simple return to the catalog, the reissue gives a landmark from Mentallo & The Fixer’s early era a new physical life while opening its archives to listeners discovering the project decades later. Re:Mission Entertainment has already been actively preserving the Dassing brothers’ catalog through previous anniversary editions and remasters, making Where Angels Fear To Tread another substantial piece of that ongoing archival work.

🎶 Listen Now:

Three decades haven’t dulled the record’s mechanical unease. Where Angels Fear To Tread remains rooted in the darker, stranger side of electro-industrial music—a collision of programming, atmosphere and experimentation from an era that helped define the genre’s underground identity. With an expanded digital edition and vinyl finally entering the equation, one of Mentallo & The Fixer’s most important recordings is getting another turn through the machinery.

Lord Of The Lost Reopens a Dystopian Future with “Empyrean 2026” Pre-Order

Ten years after its original arrival, Lord Of The Lost return to the bleak science-fiction universe of Empyrean with an expanded anniversary edition that digs deeper into one of the band’s most ambitious eras.

A Dystopian World Returns 💀

Lord Of The Lost are revisiting a pivotal chapter of their history with Empyrean 2026, a 10th anniversary edition of their 2016 concept album Empyrean, arriving September 18 through Out Of Line Music.

The original Empyrean imagined humanity centuries into its own destruction, searching the stars for a supposedly perfect world that could offer salvation. That concept gave Lord Of The Lost room to push beyond straightforward gothic metal, colliding dark rock, industrial electronics, glam, progressive elements and massive melodic hooks inside a sprawling science-fiction narrative.

A decade later, that dystopian vision feels remarkably at home in 2026.

More Than a Straight Reissue ⚙️

Empyrean 2026 expands considerably beyond the original album. The 3CD edition pairs the core record with a collection of bonus material featuring rare songs, alternate interpretations, lockdown-era performances, a piano version of “The Love Of God,” the fan-club anthem “One In A Million,” and additional material from the Empyrean universe.

A third disc takes the reconstruction even further with 12 Headphone 3D Mixes, offering another perspective on songs including “Miss Machine,” “Drag Me To Hell,” “Raining Stars,” “Doomsday Disco” and “Death Penalty.”

Collectors are also getting something Empyrean never received during its original run: its first vinyl edition. The anniversary campaign includes a limited white double LP alongside a limited blue cassette, 3CD edition and multiple physical bundles.

Rather than simply putting an old record back into circulation, Lord Of The Lost and Out Of Line Music are reopening the world surrounding Empyrean and giving one of the band’s most expansive records a significantly larger physical and sonic presentation ten years later.

🎶 Listen Now:

With Empyrean 2026, Lord Of The Lost aren’t rewriting what the album was. They’re giving listeners another way into the wreckage—preserving the dystopian heart of the original while opening archives, alternate versions and new mixes that reveal just how much existed beneath its surface.

Chainreactor Pushes Industrial Techno to Critical Mass with “Melting Point X1” Pre-Order

Chainreactor returns to the machinery with Melting Point X1, a new three-track release arriving August 28 through ProNoize.

The Reactor Is Heating Up

German industrial powerhouse Chainreactor is preparing to push the system back into the red with Melting Point X1, a new three-track release arriving August 28, 2026 through ProNoize.

Currently available for pre-order, Melting Point X1 finds Chainreactor returning to the raw foundations that have driven the project for years: relentless rhythms, abrasive electronic textures, mechanical precision, and enough pressure to keep darkened dancefloors moving deep into the night.

Rather than burying that foundation beneath unnecessary excess, Melting Point X1 appears focused on concentration. The machinery is exposed. The rhythms hit hard. The atmosphere remains dark, physical, and unmistakably industrial.

Back to the Machinery

Founded by Jens Minor in Düsseldorf in 2009, Chainreactor has spent more than fifteen years operating at the intersection of industrial, power noise, dark electro, and increasingly techno-driven electronic music.

That history makes the direction behind Melting Point X1 particularly fitting. Chainreactor isn’t attempting to abandon the evolution that brought the project here. Instead, the release turns back toward the essential components of the machine and puts them under pressure again.

Coming after 2025’s War Machinery, the new material continues Chainreactor’s relationship with ProNoize, a label that has played a significant role in the project’s history since the beginning.

The artwork reinforces that philosophy beautifully: an enormous mechanized figure towers over a scorched industrial landscape while a lone human silhouette stands beneath it. It’s an image of scale, pressure, machinery, and confrontation—and an appropriately brutal visual introduction to Melting Point X1.

With Melting Point X1, Chainreactor isn’t polishing away the dirt or softening the machinery. The project is feeding those elements directly back into the reactor. No unnecessary detours—just industrial electronics engineered for impact.

Melting Point X1 arrives August 28, 2026 through ProNoize and is available for pre-order now.
