SINthetik Messiah Unveils Haunting New EP “The Lost Tribe” 🌿🔮

Louisiana-based tribal industrial project SINthetik Messiah returns with a powerful and immersive new EP, The Lost Tribe, delving into themes of alienation, ancestral pain, and cultural identity. Available exclusively on Bandcamp today, the EP will hit all streaming platforms in April.

A Sonic Journey Through History and Identity 🌎🎶

Created by Cajun songwriter and sound designer Bug Gigabyte, The Lost Tribe blends industrial, electro, dance, rock, and ambient elements to craft a deeply emotional and thought-provoking soundscape. The EP’s two tracks explore historical trauma and personal struggle, rooted in the untold narratives of Louisiana’s indigenous people.

🔹 “Nature’s Magik” captures the anguish and raw energy stemming from the 1706 attack by French soldiers on the Chitimacha people, an event that left a lasting scar on the region’s history.

🔹 “Poison To Our Hearts” addresses the harsh reality of racial exclusion within the Chitimacha Tribe of Louisiana, where members of African descent have been denied recognition for over a century. The song paints a stark picture of injustice, longing, and the painful search for acceptance within one’s own heritage—an issue that continues to define Louisiana’s so-called Lost Tribe.

A Visionary Collaboration ✨🖤

Rohn-Lederman brings together Detroit-based vocalist Emileigh Rohn (Chiasm) and Belgian composer Jean-Marc Lederman (known for his work with The Weathermen, Fad Gadget, Front 242, and Ghost & Writer). The duo’s distinctive sound is an intoxicating blend of experimental electronic textures and deep, introspective lyricism, offering a fresh take on dark electronic music.

Since their 2021 debut “Venus Chariot”—which topped the DAC charts—they have continued to push creative boundaries with 2022’s “RAGE!” and 2024’s double album “Black And Bleu.” Now, with “Forbidden Planet,” they venture even further into uncharted sonic territory, crafting a world that is both cinematic and deeply personal.

“Forbidden Planet” – A Journey Through Sound and Emotion 🌠🔊

Described as ethereal yet provocative, “Forbidden Planet” delivers a compelling fusion of electronic avant-garde and poetic melancholy. From modular synth explorations to hypnotic vocal performances, the album transports listeners into a dystopian dreamscape that is both otherworldly and deeply human.

Hocico Unleashes New Single & Video “The Screen” 💀🎶

📅 Release Date: March 5, 2025
🎧 Label: Out Of Line Music
📺 Watch & Listen Now: The Screen

Mexican electro-industrial pioneers Hocico return with “The Screen,” a scathing new single that takes direct aim at the toxicity of the digital world. Known for their aggressive beats and uncompromising lyrics, Hocico delivers a powerful critique of online cruelty, exposing the cowardice and deception that thrive behind the anonymity of a screen.

🔹 A Brutal Callout of Digital Deception 🔹

“You spit your filth, while you’re unseen” – With “The Screen,” Hocico paints a vivid portrait of the internet’s darker corners, where trolls and keyboard warriors attack from the shadows without facing real consequences. The lyrics cut deep, unmasking the false boldness of those who hide behind their devices, only to crumble when faced with real-world confrontation.

The chorus, “You lie, you dream, you live behind the screen,” encapsulates the disconnect between digital personas and real-life insecurities, a theme vocally charged by Erk Aicrag’s impassioned delivery.

🎹 Classic Hocico Energy with a Modern Edge 🔥

Musically, “The Screen” is pure, unrelenting Hocico – pounding industrial beats, distorted synths, and an intensity that mirrors the song’s scathing message. The track blends the duo’s signature dark electronic style with a modern, urgent sound, ensuring it hits hard for longtime fans and new listeners alike.

🔻 Facing the Reality of the Digital Age 🔻

Hocico doesn’t just create music—they hold a mirror to society, forcing listeners to confront the cruelty lurking behind digital facades. “The Screen” serves as a wake-up call, demanding awareness of how the online world enables false identities and unaccountable aggression.

Antania Joins Psyclon Nine on U.S. ‘Devils Work’ Tour in 2025

The rising “Doom Bass” pioneers Antania are set to join industrial metal heavyweights Psyclon Nine on their highly anticipated ‘Devils Work’ Tour across the United States this spring. Known for their groundbreaking fusion of black metal, doom metal, and electronic bass music, Antania continues to captivate audiences with their innovative sound and visceral live performances.

Heralded as the inventors and champions of the “Doom Bass” subgenre, Antania has been active since June 2023, quickly carving a unique niche in the metal and electronic music scenes. Drawing influences from Slayer, Ministry, The Prodigy, Morbid Angel, and Deicide, the band has been likened to “the Slayer of bass music.”

The duo, composed of Dr. Luna (bass and electronics) and Kali Mortem (vocals), forgoes traditional string instruments, creating their sound by wrapping distortion around saw and sub-bass lines using a microbrute synthesizer. Sponsored by KAT Percussion, Dr. Luna delivers intricate polyrhythms over trap beats and blast beats, while Kali Mortem’s blackened, abrasive vocals evoke a haunting intensity.

“This tour is a dream collaboration,” said Dr. Luna, also a high priest at the Temple of Hecate in New York City. “We’re excited to bring our ‘Doom Bass’ sound to Psyclon Nine’s fans and see how the dark aesthetics of both bands resonate.”

Antania’s critically acclaimed debut album, The God Complex (January 2024, The Triad Records), has garnered praise from fans and press alike. Metal Digest called it “a filthy record of utter low-frequency brutality”, highlighting tracks like “Black Glitch Six” and “Trophy.” Their recent single “D3D Solz” further demonstrates their innovative sound, solidifying their place as pioneers of a new metal subgenre.

Tour Dates

The tour kicks off on January 31, 2025, at Brick By Brick in San Diego, CA, and spans multiple cities including Portland, Seattle, Detroit, and New York. The full schedule includes:

January 31, 2025 – Brick By Brick, San Diego, CA
