🩸 Welcome to the Hunt

Primal Instinct doesn’t just hit hard—it stalks, strikes, and annihilates. The opening salvos “Welcome to the War” and “Marked for Prey” ignite the pursuit with unrelenting percussion, savage vocal samples, and industrial body-blows that hit like a predator’s snare.

This isn’t a soundscape, it’s a warzone.

🔥 Faderhead Unleashes New Single “This Is Not The End” + Mindset Hacks for High-Functioning Controlled Chaos 🧠💥

🎤 New Track Previewed Live in Germany

Kicking off March with explosive energy, Faderhead delivered a sold-out show in Oberhausen, Germany—where fans got a surprise taste of a brand-new track: “This Is Not The End.” Despite never having heard it before, the crowd went off.

📹 Watch the crowd reaction here

The official music video will be filmed this Saturday in Hamburg, where the team hopes for an equally electric audience. The single is scheduled to drop mid-May, just in time to crank momentum before Wave-Gotik-Treffen.

💿 FH20 Album in the Works

In last month’s Patreon studio stream, Faderhead teased plans for a brand-new full-length album in early March 2026.

Why now?
2026 marks 20 years since the release of Faderhead’s debut album “FH1”, and what better way to celebrate than with an “FH20” release.

After a string of singles in 2024, it’s time for something more immersive. Faderhead is back in album mode.

🎛️ 1-Hour Rave Mix: Not Your Typical FH Vibe

March’s 1-hour Patreon-exclusive mix takes a rave-forward detour. Less darkwave, more full-on energy.

It’s rhythmic, pulsing, and designed to attract new listeners—so if you’re into high-octane beats, give it a spin.

🎟️ Upcoming Faderhead Live Dates

Apr 5, 2025 – Bahnhof Pauli, Hamburg (SOLD OUT!)

💪 Mindset Hacks: Fuck Your Excuses, Use Microbursts Instead

Q1 is over. Are your New Year’s resolutions collecting dust? Let’s fix that.

We all make excuses—life’s busy, motivation’s low, the timing’s never right. But if you wait for perfect conditions, you’ll stay stuck forever.

⏱️ Microbursts: The 10-Minute Fix

Instead of aiming for a perfect hour-long work sprint, start with 5–15 minutes of focused action.
Set a timer. Do one task. When it dings, you’re done. Or keep going.

That’s the magic of microbursts—small momentum snowballs fast.

🗓️ Temporal Landmarks: Hit Reset on Command

Want a clean slate? Use temporal landmarks like Mondays, birthdays, or the 1st of the month to mentally reset.
Pick a hard start date and commit. No waiting for motivation. Just move.

🧠 Perfection Is a Lie. Progress Is Power

You don’t need the perfect hour or the perfect energy. You need movement.
Start with one push-up.
One sentence.
One small win.

Because motion beats perfection every time.

🚀 Take the Shot

Next time you’re tempted to delay:
Say “fuck that.”
Set a timer.
Start something.

Small wins build big momentum.

🧟 LIK Drop New Single “Morgue Rat” Featuring Linnea Landstedt 💀

Swedish death metal crushers LIK are back with a brand-new single, “Morgue Rat,” taken from their upcoming full-length Necro, out April 18th via Metal Blade Records.

🎥 Watch “Morgue Rat” HERE

This twisted and groovy slab of horror-metal features guest vocals from Linnea Landstedt (Tyranex, Ice Age) and is inspired by infamous necrophiliac Karen Greenlee. “It’s about a mortician who can’t keep her hands off the dead,” says vocalist/guitarist Tomas Åkvik. “It’s also our first track ever with clean-ish guitars.”

Previously released video: Watch “War Praise”

🩸 About Necro

With Necro, LIK have created their most intense, punishing, and twistedly cinematic release yet. Drawing from the putrid depths of old-school Swedish death metal à la Dismember, Entombed, and At The Gates, this record offers ten blood-soaked tracks that are as groovy as they are gruesome.
Think zombie flick meets Stockholm sound—raw, brutal, and utterly irresistible.

The album’s cover art was designed by Stockholm tattoo artist Jens Olsson and serves as a visual appetizer for the carnage within.

🧪 Recorded with Pure Necro Intentions

Neco was tracked live in just three days at Necromorbus Studio (NBS) in Söderfors, Sweden, with production wizard Lawrence Mackrory (Meshuggah, Katatonia, Decapitated). Åkvik’s vocals were laid down separately at Rorysound Studios in Uppsala.
Mackrory’s been behind the board for LIK since their 2015 debut Mass Funeral Evocation, and Necro may just be the band’s defining moment.

The album also features guest appearances from Nick Holmes (Paradise Lost, Bloodbath), Lawrence Mackrory himself, and Linnea Landstedt.

🌌 FRACTAL UNIVERSE Unleashes New Video “A New Cycle” Ahead of The Great Filters Album Release 💀

Progressive death metal boundary-breakers FRACTAL UNIVERSE have dropped a brand-new music video for their latest single “A New Cycle” — the third and final preview from their upcoming full-length, The Great Filters, out this Friday, April 4th via M-Theory Audio.

🎥 Watch “A New Cycle” HERE

The track dives into the speculative sci-fi concept of directed panspermia — humanity, teetering on extinction, sends probes filled with primordial life across the cosmos to spark new civilizations. But those civilizations, destined to repeat our same fatal mistakes, find themselves trapped in a never-ending loop of rise and ruin.

Directed by Pauline Colombani (www.c3polette.com), the video is the latest visual chapter following “Causality’s Grip” and “The Seed of Singularity,” all showcasing FRACTAL UNIVERSE’s signature fusion of progressive technicality and eerie saxophone-laced soundscapes.

🎧 About The Great Filters

Due out April 4, 2025, The Great Filters is FRACTAL UNIVERSE’s most ambitious and intricate album to date. Merging heavy riffs, jazz-influenced melodies, and philosophical storytelling, it delivers a cerebral experience laced with cosmic awe.

They joined Metal Blade Records for 2019’s Rhizomes of Insanity, exploring fragmented human consciousness with technical brilliance. Their critically acclaimed 2021 album The Impassable Horizon tackled themes of determinism and free will, all while integrating saxophone flourishes into their progressive metal palette.
Having toured with heavyweights like Obscura, Evergrey, Black Dahlia Murder, and God Dethroned, FRACTAL UNIVERSE continue to carve their place as one of the most innovative acts in modern metal.

🧠 IGORRR Unveils Amen – New Album Drops September 19 via Metal Blade Records 💀

French sonic chaos-conductor Gautier Serre, better known as IGORRR, is set to release his fifth full-length album Amen on September 19th via Metal Blade Records. As always, IGORRR defies genre, logic, and expectations, weaving together breakcore, baroque, metal, and absurdism into something that sounds like nothing—and everything—all at once.
The first single, “ADHD”, arrives with a video that’s as demented as it is mesmerizing. Directed by Meat Dept, the visual journey is part therapy session, part brain meltdown, with an AI-glitched aesthetic that takes cringe into addictive territory.

🎥 Watch “ADHD”
🎧 Pre-save/Pre-order Amen

🎼 A Darker, Heavier IGORRR

“This album is darker and more solemn than anything I’ve done before,” says Serre. “I recorded a real choir in a church, and did deep experimental sound design to create something that truly resonates.”
Despite the somber tone, Amen doesn’t skimp on IGORRR’s trademark absurdity. Tracks like “Blastbeat Falafel” and “ADHD” serve as sonic palate cleansers, injecting manic energy and unpredictability into the album’s bleak weight.
“Those wild tracks are necessary,” Gautier explains. “Like a shot of limoncello between courses.”

🧬 The Mind Behind the Mayhem

Gautier describes his process as a constant stream of subconscious composition. “Music happens even in my sleep,” he says. “I create concertos in my dreams—the challenge is filtering through them to find the ones worth bringing into reality.”
On the new video, he adds: “ADHD is kind of autobiographical. It starts in silence and ends in chaos, like a brain spinning out of control but somehow still standing.”
The video’s collaborators, Meat Dept, also known for IGORRR’s viral “Very Noise,” blended 3D visuals with AI for a surreal, twisted vibe. “We leaned into ‘mental cringe’ with aesthetic influences from James Bond to Fantômas,” they say.

📀 Amen Tracklist

  1. Daemoni
  2. Headbutt
  3. Limbo
  4. Blastbeat Falafel

Unter Null Reawakens: From Ashes and Isolation to Sonic Resurrection with Hollow 💀

Back in the early 2000s, the industrial scene was on fire—chaotic, raw, and unapologetically loud. It was in that searing crucible that Unter Null was forged, the brainchild of an artist straddling classical music training and a deep fascination with sonic destruction. Raised on piano, cello, and choir, she’d been composing her own pieces since childhood. But it was the visceral aggression of powernoise and industrial that gripped her soul. The controlled chaos was intoxicating, a vehicle to exorcise emotions that polite concert halls could never contain.

Armed with Cubase and a Yamaha CS2X, she began sculpting the project that would become Unter Null—a collision of elegance and entropy, beauty and brutality.

The name itself—Unter Null, German for “below zero”—emerged as a tongue-in-cheek jab at her own self-esteem. A way to wear vulnerability like armor. “I struggled a lot growing up,” she admits. “It wasn’t some profound branding decision. It was just honest.” But over time, that phrase became more than a label; it became a mantra for transmutation—of pain into power, of failure into fuel.

Albums like The Failure Epiphany and Moving On are brutal emotional snapshots, soaked in the toxic residue of broken relationships and internalized shame. “I didn’t have a grasp on boundaries back then,” she reflects. The Failure Epiphany captured that spiral of self-doubt. But Moving On marked a shift—an album born of personal reckoning and emotional liberation. That record was nearly lost in a studio fire, and only the salvaged hard drives kept it from being incinerated. “That near-loss felt symbolic,” she says. “It mirrored the themes of survival woven through the music.”

While Unter Null remained her aggressive outlet, a new project emerged when a quieter pain needed expression. That project—Stray—was born during a particularly dark period. “The first song I wrote, ‘Does It Really Matter?,’ just didn’t fit with Unter Null,” she says. “It came from a place of vulnerability and empathy rather than rage.” Stray became the space for her softer introspections, standing in contrast to Unter Null’s sonic fury.

Through it all, music remained her emotional life raft. “I’ve never been great at expressing myself any other way,” she says. “Writing has always been instinctive—like a direct channel.” But she’s quick to acknowledge that even music can’t do all the heavy lifting. “It’s not a substitute for taking care of your mental health. You have to consciously work on that too.”

🎶 Listen Now:

After a period of creative dormancy, the embers were reignited through a long-overdue collaboration. Enter Hollow—a joint effort with Frontal Boundary that resurrected something vital in her. “It felt like we had just hit ‘pause’ and pressed ‘play’ again,” she says of reuniting with Brendin Ross, Krz Souls, and Jaysen Craves. Their synergy was electric, natural, and deeply satisfying. “It reminded me how essential it is to have inspiring, creative people in your circle.”

The track Hollow is a lyrical deep-dive into the psyche of damaged individuals unaware of their own brokenness. “Krz and I wrote it together. It’s about how unhealed trauma can ripple out and wound others,” she explains. Sonically, it blends weight and melody, aggression and emotion—a hallmark of both projects. “That contrast is what makes it work.”

Though she’s returned to the scene, she admits the landscape has changed dramatically. “When I first started, everything was different—especially the connection with fans,” she says. “Social media has reshaped everything.” But through that evolution, she’s found a deeper appreciation for her long-time supporters. “Seeing their excitement about my return has been so moving. I do this for them.”

The experience of releasing music in 2025 is far removed from the gritty underground scene she came up in. “There’s more competition now, but that’s not a bad thing,” she insists. “More people creating music means more voices being heard.” Even the sense of community has shifted. “It doesn’t feel so cutthroat anymore. Artists are lifting each other up, and it’s refreshing.”

With Hollow generating buzz, fans are already eager for more. A special SoCal show on May 26th with SITD will feature both Unter Null and Frontal Boundary, including a live performance of Hollow and a preview of new Unter Null material.

She’s also gearing up to release a brand-new single, Coming Up To Breathe, via Alfa Matrix Records on April 4th. “Unter Null is back in full swing,” she confirms. “Stray will follow, but I try to keep the two separate so they each get the space they deserve.”

Creatively, she’s steering Unter Null in a new direction—one marked by self-empowerment rather than self-destruction. “There’s still darkness, but now it’s about resilience and growth,” she says. Collaborations are fueling that shift, with upcoming projects involving Dawn of Ashes and remix work with Funker Vogt. “It’s exciting to see how each artist brings something unique to the table.”

And what does she want fans to take from all of it?

“I’m back. The sound might be different, more refined—but the core is still there,” she says. “Don’t ever let anyone take away your autonomy or make you feel like you’re not good enough. Stay true to yourself. Always.”

🕯️ PROTOKOLL 19 Unleashes Haunting New Single “When Will It End” — First Glimpse of Upcoming EP 💀

American dark electronic outfit PROTOKOLL 19 has just revealed their latest sonic descent with the release of “When Will It End,” the chilling first single from their forthcoming EP Somewhere Between Purgatory and Hell, out via Danse Macabre Records.

Blending harsh, melodic synths with vocals that snarl and sear, the track is a perfect taste of what’s to come: bleak beauty, throbbing atmosphere, and emotional catharsis wrapped in electronic aggression.

“When we find ourselves in a dark place, it often feels like there’s no way out,” the band shares. “The longer it continues, the harder it becomes to engage with life. We isolate, haunted by thoughts that never quite leave—they lurk, just out of reach.”

Each track from the EP will be released as a single in the months ahead, culminating in a full digital package with bonus remixes once the final song drops. Somewhere Between Purgatory and Hell promises to be a slow-burning confession—an unraveling of trauma, darkness, and the will to survive it.

🔥 DESERTED FEAR Unleash “Veins of Fire” — A Blazing Statement from Germany’s Death Metal Vanguard 💀

East German death metal titans DESERTED FEAR are back and burning hotter than ever with their upcoming sixth full-length, Veins of Fire, arriving April 25, 2025 via Testimony Records. If you thought they’d peaked—you weren’t paying attention. This isn’t a band resting on old bones. This is a band melting the throne to forge a new one.

From the very first track, Veins of Fire erupts with sharpened songwriting, tighter grooves, and a noticeable step forward in vocal dynamics from frontman Manuel “Mahne” Glatter. Their trademark blend of punishing riffage and melodic sensibility is still front and center—but there’s a newfound precision, clarity, and fire that sets this release ablaze.

Thematically, DESERTED FEAR dig deep into the shadows of modern life—confronting disillusionment, division, environmental collapse, and the enduring will to resist. Veins of Fire doesn’t sermonize—it reflects, with an unflinching stare and clenched fists. It’s a mirror held up to a world unraveling, but also a torch for those refusing to be swallowed by the dark.

Recorded and produced by Fabian Hildebrandt at Eisensound Studio, the album is brought to life with stunning cover art by Roberto Toderico and layout by Chris Orosz. It’s bold, blistering, and absolutely essential.

Since their 2012 debut My Empire (produced by Dan Swanö), the band has steadily climbed the ranks with albums like Kingdom of Worms and Doomsday, earning a spot at the top of Germany’s extreme metal scene. Their live pedigree includes over 250 shows across Europe and appearances alongside Obituary, At The Gates, Morbid Angel, and more.

Now, with Veins of Fire and a full-blown tour on the horizon, DESERTED FEAR are sounding more confident, dangerous, and relevant than ever.

⚔️ AVENGER OF BLOOD Return to the Frontlines with “Revenge Is My Name” and a New Era of Thrash 💀

Once forged in the fires of the Bay Area thrash scene, AVENGER OF BLOOD has spent the past two decades carving a path of pure sonic devastation. After relocating to Las Vegas following a pair of raw and furious demos, the band scored a deal with JCM Records, unleashing their 2005 debut Complete Annihilation—a scorched-earth statement that quickly earned them global underground recognition.

From there, AVENGER OF BLOOD hit the metal circuit hard, storming festivals like Minneapolis Mayhem, Monsters of Metal, and Northwest Deathfest, and landing a coveted spot on the legendary Speed Kills… Again compilation alongside rising acts like Warbringer, Toxic Holocaust, and Enforcer—a release that helped ignite the modern thrash resurgence.

Their momentum built to a crescendo with the 2008 full-length Death Brigade, issued via Heavy Artillery Records and featuring blistering artwork by the iconic Joe Petagno (Motörhead, Krisiun, Sodom). But the machine hit a snag when founding frontman Eric Greaney and bassist Shawn Loureiro departed, briefly stalling the band’s upward trajectory.

Undeterred, co-founders Shannon Frye and Marc Flores pressed forward, rebuilding the ranks and keeping the flame alive with releases like the Spawn of Evil EP (2012), a split 7” with Witchaven, and the raging On Slaying Ground LP (2016).

Now locked and loaded with their most solid lineup to date—featuring Sal Lalli on vocals, Chris Garcia on guitar, and Corey Sorrenti on bass—AVENGER OF BLOOD is officially back with sharpened teeth and a vendetta to match.

Last year, the band revisited their roots by re-recording their debut as Completely Re-Annihilated, bringing fresh blood to classic cuts and hitting the stage at Blades of Steel Fest alongside legends like Flotsam & Jetsam, Exciter, Vio-lence, and Jag Panzer. They also supported Death Angel and Ruthless on select shows in California and Nevada, signaling their official return to the live battlefield.

Their upcoming full-length Revenge Is My Name is now in the works, with a 2026 release planned—and the band has already begun to unveil what’s next through unrelenting live performances.

The blood is still fresh. The riffs are still lethal. And AVENGER OF BLOOD is here to remind you that thrash never dies—it just gets louder.

🕳 Room 23 Music Releases “Under Your Skin” by CN^2 & Mel Agony — A Dark Descent into Sonic Intimacy 💀

Room 23 Music has just unveiled “Under Your Skin”—a brooding new collaboration between CN^2 (the introspective alias of Cubic Nomad) and the hauntingly evocative Mel Agony. This single-track release isn’t here to get stuck in your head—it’s here to burrow under your skin, where it belongs.

A slow-burning elegy dripping in melancholic mood, “Under Your Skin” lives in the tension between trip hop unease and dark ambient erosion. Fractured rhythms stumble beneath ghost-like vocals, with Mel Agony’s voice floating like a sorrowful memory you can’t quite shake. The result is a minimalist fever dream—sensual, unsettling, and utterly captivating.

A poisoned lullaby for lovers of the void.

Elegantly restrained and emotionally raw, “Under Your Skin” captures the fragile line between detachment and desire, where every breath feels like it’s echoing from the bottom of an abandoned cathedral. It’s not just a song—it’s a feeling left behind in a room long after the light’s gone out.

⚡ FIRSTBORNE Ignites a New Era with M-Theory Audio and Blazing New Single “Wake Up” 💀

Brace yourself—FIRSTBORNE, the hard rock and heavy metal juggernaut featuring some of the genre’s heaviest hitters, has officially joined the ranks of M-Theory Audio. To celebrate, the band has dropped a blistering new single and music video, “Wake Up,” now streaming for those brave enough to hit play.

🎥 Watch “Wake Up” now
Directed by Drew Kaufman (Two Minutes to Late Night), the video blends thunderous riffs with tongue-in-cheek flair, giving fans a dose of FIRSTBORNE’s signature mix of shred, swagger, and self-awareness.

FIRSTBORNE isn’t just a supergroup—they’re a full-throttle collision of talent and tone. Featuring legendary drummer Chris Adler (Lamb of God, Megadeth), guitar hero Myrone (yes, the soft shred pioneer himself), and powerhouse vocalist Girish Pradhan (Girish and the Chronicles, The End Machine), the band fuses classic metal roots with modern energy, soaring hooks, and surgical-level precision.

Formed in 2019, FIRSTBORNE made early waves with a series of independently released EPs and singles from 2020–2023, blending melodic mastery with enough groove to shake tectonic plates. Now they’re leveling up with their first full-length album Lucky, produced by the one and only Machine (Clutch, King Crimson, Crobot)—and due out July 18th via M-Theory Audio.

🛒 Pre-order Lucky now on limited-edition colored vinyl, CD, or digital.

Guitarist Myrone offers a glimpse into the creative chaos:

“When Chris, Girish, and I finally got in a room together, it was a dream. We wrote everything in real-time at Machine’s barn in Texas. I came in with 150 songs… and we used zero. What you hear was born right there, right then.”

Between Adler’s iconic rhythm work, Myrone’s neon-shred precision, and Pradhan’s genre-defining vocals, FIRSTBORNE is an electrified fist to the face of the modern metal scene—built for stages, playlists, and repeat button abuse.

With nearly three decades of sonic devastation behind them, HATE isn’t resting on their corpse-pile of accolades. Bellum Regiis (“The War of Kings”) channels a new era of calculated aggression—icy, atmospheric, and epically brutal. Think tectonic riffs, scarred vocals, orchestral whispers, and drums that don’t just blast—they detonate.

Produced by David Castillo (Candlemass, Carcass, Katatonia), this nine-track juggernaut sees ATF Sinner, Domin, Nar-Sil, and Tiermes dissecting the nature of power, sacrifice, and the scars etched into human history by kings, tyrants, and blind obedience.

💀 From Iphigenia to Inferi: Themes That Bleed

Lead single “Iphigenia” draws from Greek tragedy—a tale of ritual sacrifice, choice, and fate, drenched in betrayal and divine pressure.

“Is it monstrous to offer your child to the gods?” asks Sinner.
“Or is it divine to willingly die for your people?”

This is the kind of existential devastation that HATE thrives in.

Meanwhile, the album’s title track explores the eternal struggle for power—its seduction, its cost, and its scars. Female vocals from Eliza Sacharczuk and sweeping orchestration add haunted grandeur, while black metal elements cut through with sharpened precision.
