Eisbrecher Unveils New Single “Tränen Lügen Nicht” from Upcoming Album Kaltfront

New Single: Tränen Lügen Nicht (Tears Don’t Lie)
Release Date: 7th February 2025
Album: Kaltfront – Out 14th March 2025 via Metropolis Records

Industrial hard rock giants Eisbrecher continue to solidify their place as one of Germany’s most innovative and successful rock acts with the release of their latest single, Tränen Lügen Nicht. This new track serves as a unique and humorous teaser for their upcoming ninth studio album Kaltfront, showcasing the band’s ability to blend bold creativity with deep cultural references.

About Tränen Lügen Nicht

The track is a modern cover of Michael Holm’s 1974 German chart-topping schlager hit of the same name. Originally set to the melody of Soleado by Italian artist Ciro Dammicco, the song was later reimagined as When a Child Is Born and became a global hit, including a popular version by Johnny Mathis that reached the UK’s coveted Christmas no. 1 spot in 1976. Eisbrecher’s version maintains the melodic nostalgia of the original while infusing it with their signature industrial rock style.

Despite being distinct from the album’s core sound, Tränen Lügen Nicht quickly became a fan favorite and was added to Kaltfront’s tracklist due to its overwhelming reception.

Kaltfront and Upcoming Singles

Tränen Lügen Nicht follows the previously released singles Everything Is Wunderbar and Kaltfront, both of which showcase Eisbrecher’s hard-hitting, opinionated style. These tracks set the tone for what promises to be another monumental chapter in the band’s career. Fans can look forward to another single dropping later this month ahead of the full album release on 14th March.

Eisbrecher – Kaltfront Tracklist Highlights:

  • Everything Is Wunderbar
  • Kaltfront
  • Tränen Lügen Nicht

Eisbrecher: 20+ Years of Provocative Rock Excellence

Since forming in 2003, Eisbrecher has built a reputation for tackling social issues head-on with their bold lyrics and powerful industrial hard rock sound. Their relentless approach to addressing societal flaws has garnered them widespread acclaim and a fiercely loyal fanbase. The band’s two most recent albums, Sturmfahrt (2017) and Liebe macht Monster (2021), both debuted at No. 1 on the German charts. Known for their high-energy live performances, Eisbrecher has become a titanic force on stage, creating seismic tremors wherever they perform.
