📅 Release Date: March 5, 2025 🎧 Label: Out Of Line Music 📺 Watch & Listen Now:The Screen
Mexican electro-industrial pioneers Hocico return with “The Screen,” a scathing new single that takes direct aim at the toxicity of the digital world. Known for their aggressive beats and uncompromising lyrics, Hocico delivers a powerful critique of online cruelty, exposing the cowardice and deception that thrive behind the anonymity of a screen.
🔹 A Brutal Callout of Digital Deception 🔹
“You spit your filth, while you’re unseen” – With “The Screen,” Hocico paints a vivid portrait of the internet’s darker corners, where trolls and keyboard warriors attack from the shadows without facing real consequences. The lyrics cut deep, unmasking the false boldness of those who hide behind their devices, only to crumble when faced with real-world confrontation.
The chorus, “You lie, you dream, you live behind the screen,” encapsulates the disconnect between digital personas and real-life insecurities, a theme vocally charged by Erk Aicrag’s impassioned delivery.
🎹 Classic Hocico Energy with a Modern Edge 🔥
Musically, “The Screen” is pure, unrelenting Hocico – pounding industrial beats, distorted synths, and an intensity that mirrors the song’s scathing message. The track blends the duo’s signature dark electronic style with a modern, urgent sound, ensuring it hits hard for longtime fans and new listeners alike.
🔻 Facing the Reality of the Digital Age 🔻
Hocico doesn’t just create music—they hold a mirror to society, forcing listeners to confront the cruelty lurking behind digital facades. “The Screen” serves as a wake-up call, demanding awareness of how the online world enables false identities and unaccountable aggression.
Racso Agroyam, widely recognized as one half of the legendary dark electro duo Hocico, revives his solo projectDulce Liquido with the release of “Signs of Decay”, the second single from his upcoming album. Out now via Out Of Line Music, this track plunges deep into a dystopian soundscape, marked by heavy industrial beats, distorted textures, and an uncompromising electronic intensity.
Dulce Liquido is renowned for defying conventions, breaking the barriers between mind and music with relentless dark electro energy. The project continues to push sonic limits, delivering an unfiltered auditory assault that fans of harsh industrial, electro, and aggrotech will immediately embrace.
Canadian electro-industrial powerhouse Encephalon returns with their most ambitious and immersive release to date, “Automaton All Along”, available now via Artoffact Records. This gripping concept album delves deep into the intersection of artificial intelligence and human consciousness, weaving a dystopian narrative through pulsating beats, cinematic synthscapes, and raw, evocative lyricism.
Formed in Ottawa, Canada, in the mid-2000s, Encephalon—led by Matt Gifford (vocals, programming) and Sam Mainer (keyboards, live drums)—has established itself as a defining force in the global industrial and dark electronic scene. With their signature blend of dark electro, synthpop, and cyberpunk aesthetics, the duo continues to push boundaries, both sonically and conceptually.
Since their breakthrough debut “The Transhuman Condition” (2011) and critically acclaimed follow-ups “Psychogenesis” (2015) and “Echoes” (2021), Encephalon has explored themes of technology, identity, and existential dread.
🚀 “Automaton All Along” marks their boldest statement yet—a dystopian opus that questions what it means to be human in an age where AI and consciousness blur into one. The album’s intricate production, layered sound design, and thought-provoking themes create an experience that lingers long after the music fades.

To celebrate the upcoming album release “The Star” from Angelspit, 07.24.23 we decided to dig into the vaults, and bring out a interview we featured on Evol Radio LIVE (Original Air Date: 12.17.20)
KICKSTARTING NOW, but only a few days left to back the Kickstarter. http://kck.st/3WvQ9nk
ANGELSPIT’S 11TH ALBUM, ANGELSPIT’S MOST BRUTAL ALBUM TO DATE ‘THE STAR’ (‘THE BASTARD GODS’) IS KICKSTARTING NOW.
The album, set to release in August 2023, is described as Angelspit’s most brutal to date, combining industrial, cyberpunk, and electro-industrial genres.
The Kickstarter campaign offers various formats, including digital, CD, vinyl, tape, and USB. The USB version includes sample libraries, MP3 and WAV files, and a bonus experimental noise EP. Additionally, merchandise such as T-shirts, collars, patches, zines, pins, and stickers are available. You can find more details on the Kickstarter campaign here.
Four tracks from the album are already released on Spotify, which you can listen to here.
“The Star” incorporates unique elements, with melodies created from samples of scraping and bashing large springs and metal sculptures, resulting in a gritty and edgy sound. The album features war drums by Dave NATO from 4th Wall and prominently includes the Blaster Beam, a loud and aggressive instrument. The lyrics explore the impact of new technology on personal interactions, access to factual news, the widening class system, and emerging underclass.
The album’s original title, “The Bastard Gods,” was redacted to “The Star” due to algorithmic restrictions. The album delves into the increasing influence of algorithms and their effects on content censorship and manipulation, referred to as “Bastard Gods.”
Angelspit, a Cyberpunk/Industrial act with a 20-year history, has released over 25 albums and produced numerous remixes. They emphasize independent innovation and encourage artists to pursue their own creative paths.
