Screaming Into the Void: C-Lekktor’s Relentless War Against Human Decay

C-Lekktor never set out to be a hero of Mexico’s underground industrial scene. He never begged for recognition beyond borders, nor did he tailor his sound to win over a European-dominated audience. But through unfiltered rage, raw precision, and a refusal to compromise, he became one of harsh electro’s most vital voices.

Emerging from the shadows of limited gear and a volatile underground, C-Lekktor’s journey began not in glitz or strategy—but in survival. “Life, indeed,” he says, reflecting on how he first collided with music. From folkloric roots to disco flashbacks, his curiosity didn’t rest. And once electronic sounds hit his ears, there was no going back. “I’ve always needed more,” he admits. That hunger birthed a sound that straddles brutality and beauty, fear and clarity.

In his youth, the underground Mexican scene was small but burning with resistance. The few clubs and events that nurtured C-Lekktor’s early sonic rebellion have mostly vanished, but he still honors those holding on. “Working and resisting,” he says of the diehards. “This kind of music here is very limited and underground.” And yet he’s still here—evolving from analog machines and Korg boxes to a digital soundscape that broke down the walls and supercharged his production.

From the beginning, his music was—and still is—a protest. Against human behavior. Against apathy. Against silence. Every C-Lekktor track is a scream in the void.

⚡ New World Disorder: The Rage Amplified

His latest album, New World Disorder, is a precision-crafted war cry born from global dysfunction. “We are living the worst moments as a human race,” he says bluntly. “Every single aspect of humanity is decaying.” And C-Lekktor is not whispering about it. He’s tearing open the gates with his most furious and focused record to date.

Tracks like “Animals,” “Radioakktivity,” and “War” embody his creative process—chaotic but methodical, aggressive yet thoughtful. “There are no rules,” he confesses. “Sometimes a melody. Sometimes a loop. Most of the time I reject what I start.” The final tracks? They’re the ones that passed his own unrelenting quality control. A perfectionist with a death grip on sonic chaos.

This Bandcamp release includes an exclusive booklet with lyrics plus 2 bonus remixes by LECTREAU (Passenger A from METROLAND) and DYNALECTRIC ORCHESTRA! 

PSY’AVIAH is now closing the “Bittersweet” chapter in beauty with Yves Schelpe’s stunning collaboration with Tina Forlorn of SORROW STORIES. “Healing” is maybe the most representative song from this conceptual album after all, where you can realize that, “there is joy in pain and that tears can taste so sweet”… A more laid-back melancholic dark pop song with strong highly expressive vocals leading breakbeat arrangements and sinister melodic synth-lines.


For the occasion of this new EP release, both artists recorded together an exclusive bonus song: “Heaven Is Not Enough” that mixes metaphorical lyrics, sorrowful atmospheres with more upbeat dark electronics. LIGHTS A.M releases Afraid To Let Go EP, and a live video,
from Alfa Matrix

Norwegian cinematic ambient electronic project LIGHTS A.M. (aka Erlend Eilertsen of ESSENCE OF MIND) presents to us an all new quite dark and eerie ambient single featuring “Not Ready For This” with layers of synths and some tribal almost ritualistic percussions, while “Afraid To Let Go” is more organic and enchanting although it remains very melancholic, ethereal and dreamy (and this especially expressed through the live bonus version on this EP).

The first previews of a new sonic voyage where the listener creates their own journey.

This is how Erlend himself perceives it: “Both these tracks have some of the same emotions, though in different ways. “In Not Ready For This” I see fog, a challenge, and fear of going through it, while in “Afraid To Let Go” the challenge is to let go of something which doesn’t serve you, but still being afraid of what will happen after you let go. So it is basically fear, sadness and melancholia blended together, quite dark yes…”.

808 DOT POP Releases two new EPs- AM1040 & FM96​.​9 on AlfaMatrix

Passenger S turns on his radio once more after the release of the well-received companion CD albums “FM88.2” and “AM1350” (and “MW720” on digital platforms).

The two new 808 DOT POP EP’s “FM96.9” and “AM1040” both place the second single, “Distant Voices” in the spotlight.

Again Lis van den Akker takes the honours singing on the main song creating an ERASURE-esque vibe. Light weight sequences and gentle yet driving melodies over an effortlessly rippling bass line will leave no lover of the pure synth-pop untouched.

Next to a reworked version of the album track “Modulation”, almost acting as another ‘A side’ track, there are two exclusive titles, one being ‘FM/AM’ and the brand new track “The Boys Of Wireless”, inspired by the 1912 book by Frank Webster. Still following the concept of crystal and wireless radio, there are two new extended versions, one of ‘Distant Voices’ and ‘Modulation’ topping it all off with a hard hitting club mix by Belgian artist ‘Sequence 5’.


There is no better way to truly end 808 DOT POP’s broadcastings, and to start aching for a nice hot summer, than with this fizzing pop song “Distant Voices”.
