Swedish old school EBM act ELM strikes back and releases the 2nd EP taken from the much-acclaimed brutal EBM album “Penetrator”. Expect massive bass lines and a devastating drive with strong vocals and lyrics! The Australian duo of AVARICE IN AUDIO are home again and bringing the noise! The second single from the newly released 5th AVARICE IN AUDIO album “Our Idols Are Filth” is here. This is a cut that’s sure to captivate fans of COMBICHRIST, IVARDENSPHERE, FREAKANGEL and VELVET ACID CHRIST. A native New Yorker, Margot Day was an integral part of the 80’s NYC underground music scene while fronting the legendary Goth band “The Plague” with their album “Naraka” 1987. 

Goth Pop band Metamorph founded in 2016 by songstress and witch Margot Day, wanting to escape the opressive urban lifestyle., and re-align with her connection to nature.

Metamorph is a musical entry into other dimensions via song and dance, a vortex of melody and throbbing rhythms capable of awakening human potential.  Margot Day’s multi-range vocals, mastery of the flute and catchy melodies are irresistible, creating a magical potion with Alchemist producer Erik Gustafason on these new Metamorph songs. “Sigils & Spirals” dropped in 2020, “Ether” 2017, and “The 4 Elements” 2017.

Performances as a solo, duo, and a full band featuring Margot Day have included Kurtis Knight, drummer Joe Netzel, sword and belly dancer Rivqah Cas.

Nuclear Blast is proud to announce the 6-song mini album The Aggression Sessions featuring THY ART IS MURDER, FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, and MALEVOLENCE which will be available digitally on April 7th and on CD + Vinyl on July 21st, 2023 via Nuclear Blast.

Today, THY ART IS MURDER releases the second single from the EP entitled, “Until There Is No Longer”.


The Aggression Sessions is the follow-up to 2016’s The Depression Sessions and follows the same 6-song mini album where each band offers an original single and a cover song. For this session, THY ART IS MURDER is covering Cannibal Corpse and FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY is covering At The Gates whereas MALEVOLENCE is handling a song by American singer Anastacia.

THY ART IS MURDER and FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY make the following joint statement:

“Before we had even completed work on ‘The Depressions Sessions’ we knew a lifelong friendship had been forged between THY ART IS MURDER and FIT FOR AN AUTOPSY, and that we would have to do another variation of the project. ‘The Aggression Sessions’ concept was born almost immediately following the completion of the first iteration but has taken many years to finally find the time to record and release it amidst the chaotic touring and music release schedules of both bands. We wanted to take things back to some of our favorite inspirations for writing and performing heavy and aggressive music this time, encapsulating the tone of the EP title. We hope everyone enjoys!

Joining us for round 2, please welcome MALEVOLENCE into the series. Much love to The Acacia Strain, and thank you to them for being a part of this lineage. Check out their new forthcoming record as well!

New Music Release

Lockjaw back with a new lineup and release;

Midwest industrial goth legends Lockjaw are back with a new lineup and release titled the “Annihilove EP”. Due out April 7th of 2023 with a single/video to proceed the album on March 1st.
The new album combines the old school abrasive sound of Lockjaw with melodic hooks and pounding beats inspired by the likes of Aesthetic Perfection and Julien K.


The vocals were recorded and produced by Eric LaBrosse at Cherry Pit Studios. Mastered by Ted Jensen (Green Day, Manson, Evanescence, etc.)

Lockjaw is:
Medavon DeRaj’e on vocals, guitars, synths and programming,
Scotty Damned on lead guitars,
Jake Steffes on bass

Since starting out in 1998, Lockjaw has released 15 albums to date on Dark Drug records with their previous effort being 2021’s “Reverent” and later in July 2021 “Somewhere In A Dream”. Lockjaw’s “Bored Again” from the CD “Dirty Minds and Smiling Faces”(2004) is featured on the X-Box360 game “Dead Rising”.

Combichrist announce 2023 Oldschool Tour


Coming up on 03.10.23;
Combichrist kick off the 2023 Oldschool Electronic Tour in Las Vegas, NV.
Special guests on this tour include iVardensphere, Esoterik and Priest, along with Grendel on selected dates of the US tour, from SLC to Chicago.



The 2023 Oldschool US Tour makes stops in most major US cities, with a stop in Parsippany, NJ., on 04. 01.23 for Dark Forces Fest, a stop in Wilmington, VA., then a final tour stop 04.04.23, in Detroit. MI.

After some well deserved time off, Combichrist and Priest embark on a European tour on 04.24.23 in The Netherlands, making stops in most of the populus cities in Europe, with the last stop 05.12.23 in Germany.

Be sure to experience the sights and sounds that a bill like this can bring, this one will be talked about with fond memories.

After the HUGELY successful return of Resistanz in 2022, the 3 day live music event is super hyped to confirm – RESISTANZ 2023!

Once again, taking place at the Corporation venue in Sheffield, UK.
This three day event over UK’s Easter Bank Holiday weekend will see a full line up of international and domestic DJ’s and artists from the world of dark alternative electronic music (including my favorite Dark Machine Nation!!!)

The first tour stop is in Glasgow, Ireland on March 30th, and wraps up in Hamburg, Germany on may 13th.

I remember the first time seeing Empathy Test tour with Aesthetic Perfection.
A very dynamic duo of counterbalancing and complimenting live performances!
this was my 3rd time seeing AP.
Opened the bar for AP once in Dayton, OH., ages ago.

LAZERPUNK opened, and my favorite memeory, (aside from meeting and speaking to the projects) was singing along, and the speakers cut out.
