I want to make something unique to me while still having a bit of pop appeal". Talking about working with Jack Wilson, AIRPORTS shares, "I met Jack from Fickle Friends and we tee’d up a writing session, he is such a brilliant producer with a clean sound that I love but we both wanted to go a little edgier than his usual on this one so we wrote the main verse and chorus idea for "BLOODRUSH". I then took the song home to Australia and tinkered away, I ended up adding the house bridge which I felt was a daring twist in a rock song, but is also my homage the UK’s both vibrant dance and rock scenes". "I am still working hard on trying to get ‘Start The Sequence’ finished.
Some of the guest vocalists are taking an excessively long time to record their vocals, with deadlines continually being extended, sadly I’ve also been ghosted on a couple of occasions too. Believe you me when I say it is not for a lack of effort on my part. I can only apologise for the delays and promise you I am doing all I can to chase, harass and in some cases replace vocalists so we can get a completed album sooner rather than later. For my part I have learnt some invaluable lessons regarding the reliability and professionalism of certain people and truth be told it has not been a pleasant experience for me.
