Vancouver artist Eva X released Dance in Shadows on September 18 through Distortion Productions. The release contains the original track and Stoneburner’s “Muad’dib Breakbeat Mix,” giving listeners two ways into the song before TURBOPINK arrives in November. Gabrielle Gustafson and Erik Gustafson produced the original; Stoneburner handled the remix.

A Brighter Color for the Robot Girl

Eva X describes her music as a collision of pop, industrial, dance, and metal, with a “robot girl” persona singing about human experiences. Dance in Shadows follows the earlier TURBOPINK singles “Dopamine Blind” and “Fiction.” The forthcoming album is listed for November 6, 2026; the single is already available to stream and purchase.
