Cyanotic Unveils “Nothing Changes,” Featuring a Crushing Dub Mix by Justin K. Broadrick

Industrial stalwarts Cyanotic have returned with a dark new twist on a familiar track. The project has just announced the release of “Nothing Changes,” an alternate version of “And Still Nothing Changes” from the album The After Effect.

Known for their relentless fusion of industrial aggression, electronic precision, and dystopian atmosphere, Cyanotic continues to push their sonic identity deeper into mechanical darkness with this reimagined release.

A New Take on The After Effect

“Nothing Changes” revisits the themes and sonic textures introduced on The After Effect, but strips the track down and rebuilds it with an even heavier and more oppressive atmosphere. The alternate version leans into Cyanotic’s signature blend of pounding rhythms, distorted electronics, and bleak lyrical undertones, amplifying the track’s sense of tension and inevitability.

The release also features a hellish dub remix crafted by legendary industrial innovator Justin K. Broadrick, the mind behind groundbreaking projects like Godflesh, Jesu, and Techno Animal.

Broadrick’s remix transforms the track into a cavernous sonic descent, layering crushing bass, industrial dub textures, and hypnotic distortion into something that feels both punishing and immersive.

The result is a track that feels both familiar and newly destructive—melding Cyanotic’s cybernetic rhythm structures with Broadrick’s unmistakable wall-of-sound heaviness.

For fans of industrial, EBM, and experimental electronic music, “Nothing Changes” stands as another powerful entry in Cyanotic’s catalog and a reminder that the genre’s pioneers are still shaping its future.

WORST ONES Drop Crushing New Single & Video “Deny Reality” 💀

Philadelphia’s industrial sludge metal insurgents WORST ONES have returned with a brutal new single and video, Deny Reality—a sonic assault that cuts through willful ignorance with venom, distortion, and uncompromising heaviness.

Claustrophobic & Hypnotic Sound
Deny Reality channels the bleak pulse of Godflesh, the twisted hooks of Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson, and the sample-driven chaos of Skinny Puppy. Built on relentless electronic percussion and skittering hi-hats that slice through layers of noise loops, the track morphs shredded guitars into inhuman fragments. A towering chorus rises above the chaos, before a crushing breakdown drags the listener into sludge-drenched oblivion.

💀 Lyrical Warfare Against Ignorance
At its core, Deny Reality confronts the culture of willful blindness that has metastasized into complicity. With lyrics like “Cast out your empathy, behold your tragedy” and “My nightmares are dreams, you deny reality,” the track attacks the toxic refusal to see truth—an ignorance that sustains violence and accelerates collapse. It’s not an escape—it’s the very engine of destruction.

Copies are available in exchange for donations to Juntos, a community-led Latine immigrant rights organization. With this, WORST ONES transform their sound into protest—turning distortion into direct action, and noise into a weapon of resistance.
