Chris Pohl’s resurrected industrial-electro machine keeps grinding forward with “Boys & Ladies,” while Miss Construction prepares its first full-length assault in thirteen years.
Miss Construction Is Back in Business
There is apparently still plenty of crap left to construct.
Miss Construction, the EBM and industrial-electro project founded by Blutengel mastermind Chris Pohl, has released its latest single “Boys & Ladies” through Out Of Line Music, continuing a comeback that has transformed a long-dormant project into an increasingly active force on the dark-electronic scene.
“Boys & Ladies” follows “Spiel mit mir,” “Back Again,” “Hate,” “Heiß” and “F.M.P.”, making it the sixth single released since Miss Construction returned.
The formula remains gloriously uncomplicated: pounding electronic rhythms, abrasive hooks, dark humor and enough club-oriented aggression to make standing still feel like a personal failure.
But “Boys & Ladies” isn’t arriving alone. The single also opens the door to something considerably bigger.
Thirteen Years of Trash Come Full Circle
Miss Construction’s comeback becomes a full-scale return with This Is Crap, arriving November 27, 2026 via Out Of Line Music. The eleven-track album combines all six comeback singles — including “Spiel mit mir,” “Hate,” “F.M.P.” and “Boys & Ladies” — with new material steeped in the project’s signature collision of EBM, dark electro, industrial techno and provocative club energy.
The physical release doubles down with a second CD containing the 2008 debut Kunstprodukt, bringing early favorites like “Headshot,” “Hass und Liebe,” “Miss Construction Theme” and “Electro Beast” into the new era. Those older tracks finding fresh audiences online helped inspire Chris Pohl to revive Miss Construction in 2025 after roughly twelve years of silence following 2013’s United Trash – The Z Files.
That makes This Is Crap more than the project’s first album in thirteen years. The 2CD edition connects Miss Construction’s original Berlin-era industrial chaos directly to its rebirth, giving longtime fans the past and present in one package while introducing a new generation to the beautifully obnoxious machine that started it all.
