DIE KRUPPS Return to Form With “Will nicht – MUSS! / On Collision Course”

Industrial discipline meets unrelenting force as one of the genre’s architects strikes again.

⚙️ A New Release Forged in Steel

Dependent has officially released “Will nicht – MUSS! / On Collision Course” by DIE KRUPPS, delivering a dual-track statement rooted in precision, power, and confrontation. This release reinforces the band’s legacy of merging mechanical rhythm with militant intent—no excess, no retreat.

🔥 Collision Is Inevitable

From the defiant German-language command of “Will nicht – MUSS!” to the forward-driving pressure of “On Collision Course,” DIE KRUPPS sound focused, hardened, and unapologetic. These tracks feel engineered for impact—march-ready electronics, rigid structure, and an undercurrent of resistance that refuses to yield.

Antigen Shift Unleashes Superheavy Particle via Artoffact Records

Canadian industrial/electronic duo Antigen Shift return with their brand-new release Superheavy Particle, unleashed today through Artoffact Records.

Led by Nick Thériault and Jairus Khan, Antigen Shift carve out their signature sound—an electrifying hybrid of industrial noise, dark EBM, and cinematic textures. Superheavy Particle is one of their most ambitious works to date, fusing tense atmospheres, glitch-laced rhythms, and distorted electronics into a sonic force that is both visceral and immersive.

A recent teaser offers a glimpse of the album’s soundscape, showcasing Antigen Shift’s ability to balance chaos and control with masterful precision.

Formed in the early 2000s, Antigen Shift began as Thériault’s solo project before Khan joined, transforming the act into a formidable duo. Over two decades, they’ve released material on labels like Ad Noiseam, Frozen Empire Media, and Spectre, steadily building a reputation for fearless experimentation.

In 2024, Antigen Shift signed with Artoffact Records, bringing their back catalog under the label’s wing. Since then, they’ve reissued classic albums like Brotherhood and dropped powerful new singles including “Because I Want,” further cementing their place in the global industrial/electronic underground.

Known for their thunderous live sets, Antigen Shift has performed at international festivals such as Machinenfest, Kinetik, and Convergence, where they translate studio complexity into ferocious, floor-shaking energy.

Together, Thériault and Khan embody a relentless drive to push the boundaries of electronic music—merging aggression, emotion, and innovation into every release.

⚡ SINE DROPS SULTRY NEW SINGLE “SUCCUMB TO ME” ON METROPOLIS RECORDS

US drummer, multi-instrumentalist, and electronic alchemist Rona Rougeheart returns with her project SINE, unveiling the brand-new single “Succumb To Me” via Metropolis Records on September 26, 2025.

🎶 Industrial Meets Dirty Disco

Co-produced alongside Curse Mackey (Pigface) and mastered by Mark Pistel (Consolidated, Meat Beat Manifesto), “Succumb To Me” blends industrial grit, dirty disco grooves, and seismic sub-bass into what Rougeheart defines as her signature style: electronic boom.

Rougeheart explains:
“While working on my next album, I decided to start something fresh just for fun. I anchored the track around two deep synth bass hits that pan left and right for a surround sound feel—especially in headphones. The lyrics practically wrote themselves, cheeky and a little sinister, with a dash of sex appeal. It’s one of my favorite SINE tracks to date.”

🌑 Momentum Rising

SINE officially joined the Metropolis Records roster in 2024 with the single “Trauma Bondage.” Since then, Rougeheart has been steadily building momentum—touring North America with Void Palace and Clan of Xymox, and recently performing at Cold Waves XIII in her hometown of Austin on September 19, 2025. Work is already underway on a full-length album expected in 2026.

🧬 Rona Rougeheart: The Force Behind SINE

Born in New York and now based in Austin, Rougeheart grew up surrounded by music, guided by her father who taught her guitar and keyboards before she gravitated to drums. She’s endorsed by Gretsch Drums, Gibraltar Hardware, and Roland.

Her impressive collaborations span the underground and avant-garde, including work with Bauhaus’ David J, Curse Mackey, Nick Zinner (Yeah Yeah Yeahs), Adrian Sherwood, Meat Beat Manifesto, Clan of Xymox, Chris Connelly (Pigface, Revolting Cocks), Andee Blacksugar (KMFDM, Blondie), Xiu Xiu, and the late Mark Stewart (The Pop Group).
