⚙️ MIDNIGHT Announces Filthy Covers Album “Steel, Rust And Disgust” — Out May 23rd via Metal Blade Records 💀

Cleveland’s resident high priest of sleaze and grime, MIDNIGHT, is back to make your speakers weep with Steel, Rust And Disgust — a full-length covers album hitting the streets May 23rd on Metal Blade Records.

The one-man wrecking crew Athenar delivers ten raw-as-hell covers alongside two brand-new original tracks, all soaked in the rust-belt rage and dirty swagger that’s defined MIDNIGHT for over two decades. This time, it’s a love letter to his birthplace and its gritty musical underbelly.

“The original title was going to be Throw Ups, a nod to Bowie’s Pin Ups,” Athenar jokes. “But I needed six syllables. I just wanted to rip through songs by bands who shared the same sights, sounds, and sewage of my region of birth. Do yourself a favor—check out the original versions… if you want to transform into a total fucking slimebag.”
