Berlin synthpop veterans And One bring Tanzomat back into motion, giving one of the band’s key late-era albums a fresh digital spotlight.

The Dancefloor Reopens

Tanzomat by And One is back in front of listeners through Bandcamp, putting the 2011 album within reach for fans who like their synthpop with steel in the frame and neon in the bloodstream.

Originally released through Out Of Line Music, Tanzomat sits in an important part of And One’s timeline. The album arrived after the body-moving momentum of the Bodypop era and carried the band’s blend of German synthpop, EBM pulse, and dark electronic melodrama into sharper, more mechanical territory.

This is not a newly recorded 2026 album, but its arrival on Bandcamp gives the record a renewed point of access for longtime fans, collectors, and anyone tracing the circuitry of European synthpop history.

Classic And One Energy With Teeth

And One have always understood that synthpop works best when the machine has personality. Tanzomat leans into that identity with club-built rhythms, sleek electronics, sharp hooks, and the kind of vocal attitude that turns cold programming into something theatrical and alive.

The album moves with that familiar And One confidence: part dancefloor command, part industrial-pop discipline, part late-night emotional damage report. It is clean, driving, stylish, and just dramatic enough to remind listeners that synthpop does not have to be soft to be memorable.

For fans of classic EBM, German electronic music, and dark club culture, Tanzomat remains a strong entry in And One’s catalog. Its return feels less like a nostalgia trip and more like another switch being flipped on a machine that never really powered down.
