Hailing from the United States, Sonum Unum emerges as an electrifying electronic rock duo, a collaborative venture orchestrated by multi-instrumentalist/producers Craig Douglas and Michael Goldberg.
Their musical journey weaves together a tapestry of influences, encompassing electronic, ambient, cinematic, and rock elements, reminiscent of the ethereal soundscape conjured by artists such as M83, Peter Gabriel, and Depeche Mode.

What initially began as a fortuitous connection catalyzed by a musician’s want ad culminated in a creative synergy that transcended expectations. The duo’s artistic partnership took shape during the winter of 2023, marked by the seamless exchange of files and ideas. From this virtual collaboration, a profound musical endeavor was born—a testament to the transformative power of technology and artistic camaraderie.

While the duo’s original intent was to craft a collection of songs and independently release a handful of singles, fate had other plans. Their demo track “Empty Spaces,” shared online, swiftly captured the attention of industry luminaries Micah Skaritka and Roger Jarvis of Negative Gain Productions. Enthralled by Sonum Unum’s unique sonic palette and potential, the duo’s trajectory shifted dramatically.

Embracing a new chapter, Sonum Unum signed with Negative Gain Productions, propelling their musical journey into an exciting new phase. Their much-anticipated debut album, “Signals From The Sun,” is poised for a global release in September 2023, a harmonious amalgamation of their diverse musical influences and creative chemistry. As the album’s release approaches, the duo prepares to embark on a touring adventure that promises to further amplify their magnetic presence.

Belgian heavymetallers SHOCKER Unveil Debut Album Title and Artwork

The inception of SHOCKER dates back to 2018, with the seeds of the idea planted long before in the minds of Sammy and Koen. However, due to various challenges and obligations in their daily lives, the concept was put on hold.

Drawing from diverse musical backgrounds, SHOCKER embarked on a quest to discover common ground, and it was in this shared space that their distinctive sound began to take shape.

Unfettered by genre boundaries, SHOCKER thrives on mixing genres and styles, exploring the vast expanse of possibilities that lies ahead.

Amidst the waves of the pandemic, SHOCKER found a fortunate window to enter the studio. The debut EP was meticulously crafted at closed sessions recording studio, with Kristof Maes at the controls. Upon its release in March 2021, the EP garnered a slew of promising reviews.

From that creative fire, emerged new compositions, embracing a weightier and darker tone. It is with pride that SHOCKER announces their full album, titled “Fractured Visions Of The Mind,” accompanied by the revelation of its cover art.

The album’s recording and mixing took place at Shellshock Studios under the guidance of Pieter Nyckees, and its mastering was deftly handled by Frederik Dejongh at Jerboa Mastering.
