Lindy-Fay Hella & Dei Farne consist of Lindy-Fay (vocalist for celebrated Nordic folk group Wardruna) and Roy Ole Førland. On their latest collaboration the two wrote and recorded most of the album during the pandemic, exchanging musical ideas remotely. The result was a journey through unprecedented times, capturing lonely and cold emotions of isolation. The record was recorded with Enslaved’s Iver Sandøy and Jørgen Træen at Solslottet studio, with added instrumentation from Sondre Veland. Islet is not just an auditory experience; it’s a testament to the resilience of creativity in challenging times.
