Polish progressive metallers FACTOR 8 have unveiled their latest single, “Antidote,” accompanied by a captivating music video. The band’s journey began in 2009 in Bydgoszcz, Poland, founded by Bartek Wojciechowski (vocals), Mariusz Lemański (guitar), and Łukasz Reksa (guitar). Blending melodic progressive rock with modern heavy metal, FACTOR 8’s music offers a unique and dynamic experience.
In 2016, the band released their debut album, “The Valkyries,” which received critical acclaim, catapulting them into the spotlight. As they promoted their debut material, FACTOR 8 had the honor of sharing the stage with renowned artists like Kat, Roman Kostrzewski, Turbo, Non Iron, Ira, Kaliber 44, Organek, Mrozu, Cugowscy, and more, solidifying their presence in the metal scene.
Over the years, FACTOR 8 has treated fans to four singles, each accompanied by visually captivating music videos. Their latest offering, “Antidote,” showcases their musical prowess and artistic growth, immersing listeners in a sonic journey filled with raw emotion and technical finesse.

“Antidote” was brought to life through the creative collaboration of Mariusz Lemański (music), Bartek Wojciechowski (lyrics), and Mariusz Lemański and Peter “Lestath” Leszczyński (arrangement). The single’s recording took place at Peter “Lestath” Leszczyński’s Red Sun Recording Studio, with drums recorded at YacobRecords and vocal recording at Marcin Grzella’s MG Studio Production. The mixing and mastering were impeccably handled by Peter “Lestath” Leszczyński at Red Sun Studio.
