I can still remember the first shows we played together in Europe in the mid-eighties. The Metallica guys (back then with Cliff Burton) were just great and we quickly became friends. There was a very special spirit of optimism in the metal scene that I like to remember. That’s why I re-recorded ‘The Four Horsemen’, one of the early Metallica classics.
