Cleveland extreme metal veterans, RINGWORM, are ready to unleash their highly-anticipated 9th full-length album, “Seeing Through Fire,” on August 18th via Nuclear Blast Records. Fans have been eagerly awaiting this release, and the band has now delivered another taste of their brutal sound with the release of “Thought Crimes,” a track that exudes epic brutality and relentless aggression.
In a statement about the song, vocalist Human Furnace describes “Thought Crimes” as a manic and fast-paced track that compels listeners to move. Despite its intense sonic nature, the lyrics delve into a different realm, exploring the struggle to maintain individual thoughts in a world filled with controlled marketing, algorithms, and forced tribalism. It’s a natural response to the constant sculpting, direction, and manipulation of beliefs.
